    Nice instructions about shooting, but we need also a drill about lay-up when you catch the ball before finishing at the rim

    You should take a video of wrist angles according to finger placement while shooting. (For example; what wrist angle should the index and middle finger users shoot with?)

    Great video, the only thing I disagree with is having your hand directly behind the ball. That creates a little tension in my shot.

      Tbh, you have to do what is comfortable for you, some ppl like their hand on top of the ball and some prefer behind the ball

    I’ve been trying to figure out what finger release i should have. Both middle finger and split work but since I don’t know what to use my shot gets inconsistent. I usually load the ball by my right quad since I’m right handed. I have a straight shot line starts from quad up to my right eye etc. I’ve had a tough time with this for a while and i feel that my shot is not progressing because of it. What should I use?

    when i watch NBA players shooting in super slow motion, i realize that most of them have their palm facing the left hand side instead of facing the rim, any idea why is that? i have my shooting hand palm facing the rim...

      I had The Same problem Start with 1 handed Form Shots Close to the basket...Then Use only your Shooting hand and 3 fingers of your guide hand(Pinkie,Ring and Middle finger....Then Move Further from the basket And Do the same thing.....Then Try it from the free throw line Then Test It out Using all your fingers...Its gonna take some time to get use too but its all about the reps you put in
      Another Reason For this Could be you the wrong Set and Release point for your height and Strength which is why you end up Shooting with the thumb to gain more power.

    When he catches the ball, his hand is obviously not behind the ball, it is on top bro.

    • @StormXLegend
      @StormXLegend 6 місяців тому

      I actually thought that but as I was form shooting, putting your hand behind the ball as you get ready to shoot adds more power and makes your shot more straight!

    See how Andrew catches the ball, brings the ball down, then brings it to his pocket and shoots. Is that better than trying to immediately get it to the pocket before shooting?

    • @412tt
      @412tt 2 роки тому

      Some people like to dip for rhythm, if you don't need to then it might be better as you will get the shot up quicker. Nothing wrong with it though.

    Yeshua Hamashiach is God in the flesh, the Son of God, the Word of God, and he died so that you may be presented blameless in the sight of the Father. And so you may inherit his kingdom. The LORD Yeshua Hamashiach is the only way to the Father and his kingdom. Please repent of your sins, turn to the LORD and accept him into your life before it's too late, every day is not guaranteed.
    John 14:6
    Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.
