💙⚓💙 Love this! Perfect little *Boat-Camper* 😏 Just the right size for me and my 2 😻s. 😉 Gasoline Mercury? I can handle that. Great Tour!🥂 Thanks for another awesome Video. 🕊️💙🎶⚓
I had to pause the vid and zoom in, but in case anyone was wondering, Rico's T says Two Foot-itis is the incurable condition of lusting after a boat that's two feet longer than yours. LOL
The second most amazing thing that I notice on these walk around these wall arounds is how super compatible and obviously in love you too seem to be. That is amazing given the fact that you live aboard a boat and are probably around each other 24 seven. The #1 most amazing thing is the incredible knowledge that Rico has regarding the mechanical and operational component of these vessels. It’s especially intimidating when you call a starter yacht at $274,000 but most intimidating. Is incredible amount of knowledge, foresight, planning, and budgeting involved in owning a vessel just like this, your 35 foot starter yacht. So much goes into it. Congratulations on your great success.
I think this might be the first boat I've seen you tour that doesn't have an inside helm. If you can enclose the flybridge, that's probably not too big a deal. The extra space inside, especially in the galley, seems worth it. Rico was even happy with the engine room!
Agreed. Most of the yachts are way too expensive for the viewers but nice to see how the rich live. Would like to see more affordable live aboard yachts too :)
Love the layout. From the video, Material quality looks like it’s holding up very well. If your comfortable with gas inboards then a few upgrades and your on your way. combine the low and high voltage panels. Use the larger space for dishwasher or wine fridge. Install a refrigerator only. The ice maker is already aft. Lose the rear seat on fly bridge. Use for dingy or cook station. Nice seeing rounded corners on countertops and a proper RED horn button. It’s the little things. Another fun video. TY. 👍
I conclude most nights reading/ watching about the Great Loop in particular; very nice to only see a 3 and a half foot draft. Keep including more of these in the mix. Thanks!
Nice starter boat , would love to have that and park it in San Diego, we love your videos, thanks and we can’t wait to see your new boat completed , 😎.
Rico is on point.. he has some zingers 😊. The t shirt is perfect. And so true. Victorias anchor print pants and hat are eye catching, her smile gets me everytime😊. Boat looks like its really close to bottom. Starter boat.. You guys made me laugh and liked the tour
I had to pause and zoom in to see what was on Ricos shirt. I would think it would be more five or 10 feet-itus! Little did I know that I would get a description later in the video!
This boat will work for fishing and tow water sports, the huge platform is a "huge" bonus. Great boat for runs to the Bahamas, plus you could do charters to pay for all that fun in the sun, enjoy!!!!!!
when you initially went for-verd on the bow, I couldn't tell what the elevated lines that you were walking around were, so I had to go back to the start when you were talking with Udo-- Hello UDO!- so, spring lines via a fiberglass rod to keep the vessel OFF the pier instead of tight to... Nice--
Cute boat. Good value. It’s actually twice as long as the boat my uncle had when I was a kid. He had a great 17-footer that we had a lot of good times on.
great video really like this little yacht. Be good for a couple cruising. Go to Bahamas eastern seaboard or taking her to Key west into the Gulf. Stay close to shore. Extra cabin for family or friends to join on portions of the trip. Looking forward to next video
Lol! Your continuity comment Victoria was hilarious! Much love to Rico. Great looking boat for an entry level owner (as though I would know anything about that). Cheers to you both!
Thank you for bringing back videos of what made us live you in the first place. Maybe you should start a 3rd channel, not like you are busy with anything, lol. But just affordable yachts. We're going to be buying a boat in the next 2 years and my wife loves your walk thru's with your opinions. Thanks
Thank you, we do bring at least 1 affordable yacht to the channel a month, sometimes 2 when we find a good one. make sure you are sub and the notifications on incase you have not been seeing them check the affordable yacht playlist
Yes, it's hot here in Florida. I worked out in the garden this morning from 6:30 till 9:00 and was soaked with sweat. I would rather be fishing. But, alas , I don't have a boat.
Love, Love, Love videos of affordable yachts!!!❤❤❤ Nice to see the larger vessels but we can’t all afford 10s of millions on a beautiful yacht. Thanks again guys GREAT JOB on all your boating vids! 😀
Literally just got my first boat, we live on Lake Ontario and I grew up boating with my dad. I got a fishing boat, then my wife the next week went out and got a 20’ Sea Ray cabin cabin cruiser. She was not too happy with the fishing boat. However after taking the sea ray out every chance we get I have fallen In Love with the water again. Your channel is giving me some expensive ideas.. lol. Love it tho, thanks
Very nice starter yacht. While your down in Florida...ho; on up to South Carolina, Myrtle Beach and say hello and have dinner. that would really make my day.
You should present on your next trip to France 🇫🇷 a boat made by a fabulous shipyard: JFA. They produce aluminum sailboats and motor yachts. Especially the Long island series. It is really worth discovering this construction site... Thank you
Probably the best laid out 36ish footer for a couple I have seen. Ditch the lower "guest cabin" (tiny storage closet) in favor of a lower helm, and get rid of the fly-bridge in favor up just a flush upper deck (more flexible space) then it'd be near perfect.
Well , you're getting closer to what I can afford. Let me know when you review a canoe. LOL 😂 .... Looking good today , my favorite boat lady. Jennifer Lawrence???? You're so much more beautiful than she is . Also you have CLASS.
Great video as always for liveaboard. Do you ever review sport fishing yachts or is that not part of your content? That style of yacht is what I'll be looking for in the next few years to live on. Fishing is LIFE! 🎣😃
No matter how many hints you drop Victoria, I don't think Rico is taking you on that Great Loop trip anytime soon. Maybe once the Bering is half paid off and still worth a chunk of change, you can sell it or continue to charter it, and then convince Rico to buy a Fleming, or Nordstar, maybe a Ranger Tug. And then off you go.
Nice starter boat you would need about 5 feet longer to have a washer/dryer and a freezer and fridge to keep more food to live aboard but for day trips that boat is really nice. You two are always showcasing nice small boats to super yachts and enjoying it just living the life God Bless
For a 2 person live-aboard, I would remove the bed in the guest cabin and install a small stackable washer/dryer (or combo unit), freezer, pantry and work bench, etc. Replace the small refrigerator/freezer in galley with a drawer type and replace the ice maker in cockpit with additional refrigerator. Extend A/C and heating to flybridge and enclose area with proper roll-up isinglass to provide a year-round comfortable, temperature controlled room. For occasional overnight guests, use the convertible salon seating as Victoria demonstrated. Overall, a great looper boat and although I would prefer diesel engines, parts and service for those Mercruisers are as plentiful as seawater. As usual, another great tour/review by Victoria and Rico!
Great review. I always get a kick out of your concept of small. Captain Q also thinks the same about sailboats when he reviews those little 30-40 footers 😎. It must be the big water big boat bias from living on the ocean. Here on the lower Great Lakes 34-36’ is just right and considered to be a rather big boat. I have a great respect for Carver here where they are perfect get around family boats. When you delve into their ergonomics and quality of construction you appreciate them even more.
Excellent walk through! This would be nice boat for a single person or a couple. You could live anywhere on the southeastern coast of the US and visit a lot of places.
let's assume this is a reasonable value for this general size (I see some comments saying overpriced..some saying cheap). What's the general listing lifespan for a boat like this in the current Florida market? (I could possibly be in the market in 6-12 months.)
Carvers are great, you get a lot 9f boat for your money. This 34 would be a perfect starter except for the gasoline engines, I'd only buy a diesel powered boat. Good video!

@@NautiStyles I'm at 15 minutes now... I have to agree tho, I went from looking at a 32' to a 38' almost immediately 😁

Second helm was an option when ordered.
Love all your walkthroughs, but the affordable series at least makes me think one day I could actually own a boat you've done a tour of. :)
You can do it!
Agreed. Most of the yachts are way too expensive for the viewers but nice to see how the rich live. Would like to see more affordable live aboard yachts too :)
There are no affordable boats mate. The free ones cost the most, lol.
Anchor Tights, I love it. Thank you for maintaining my smile, and showing us a great 34 ft. yacht.

Reminds me of my first boat, except much newer. Clearly a lot of pride of ownership in the way the boat has been cared for over the years.
agreed!

Two-foot-itis is a real affliction in the boating world!
100% 😝😂😂
Thank you for these videos. Love seeing the million+ yachts but your starter series yachts are extremely valuable to the average boater !

lol
This boat looks like mine and my wife’s perfect retirement boat, not gonna lie. ❤😊
nice nice boat for couple . it has everything
It's the newer younger sister to the boat I grew up on... Carver makes really great dependable boats!
This boat will work for fishing and tow water sports, the huge platform is a "huge" bonus. Great boat for runs to the Bahamas, plus you could do charters to pay for all that fun in the sun, enjoy!!!!!!

Exactly. It's a weekender boat
The two of them always do a great job
So excited for this one!!!!
awesome!
That was a very nice 34 footer, I could not believe the space and how well it was designed. 10 years old, I'm very impressed.
I was also impressed with the boat it was overpriced so I believe
Good to see the banter back again! Nice boat. I'll take two! Great to see that it's got a fire suppression system on such a small boat!
agreed!
99% of all boats sold after 2000. Have a fire expression system on board if you have an inboard engine

My dream home that I will never have .
It's an almost perfect starter boat. With live aboard possibilities. (No dishwasher😅)
yes, would need to find a spot for one
A dishwasher comes with your marriage license ;) , I kid I kid! Old joke.
Nice starter boat.. Loads of outside space and very neat interior.
for affordable looks pretty awesome inside... niiice black with white interior, so lifts up like its luxury more
Very nice layout and roomy for a 34’. That would be a very comfortable cruiser for two adults with two kids.
Victoria, compliments on your nautical ensemble choice. Shouts Yachting!
Wow, thank you!
Beautiful boat. Would be a great starter yacht. Can’t wait until I can get a boat and explore on my own.
Best of luck!
I was a bit surprised there was no cabin helm, but like you said, it's a small boat. 😎
yes

Plenty of similar Carvers out there with the interior controls - -this one they optimized for the marina instead of underway.
