Most of the high quality fibers (except for cotton) make me itch! So does polyester for that matter. Okay, on with the adorable kitten video, including Diana Kitty.
Those kittens always bring a touch of cuteness and mayhem to any situation. Maybe part of the French girl style is to have a kitten hanging off your sleeve or pant leg.
At 80 I am so drawn to your style tips, I believe they can cross age and generational barriers! While 80’s mom might not fit for me vintage styles might enhance my queen baddie look! Whenever I am having a difficult day, you, your kitties, and delightful styles make me feel better!

And red shoes ❤. I love red shoes 😂 I was once told that they are for either 3 year olds or prostitutes, I'm a 3 year old at heart 😂😂😂😂😂❤. They make me happy 😁 I don't care.
You inspire me so much!! From style, to health, to having your first book out, not to mention the UA-cam channel!!! Loooove the elephant one!! so precious!!
Thank you!!! 😚 I wore that elephant sweater to a friend's house last night and she screamed with excitement. I am not sure I've ever gotten a reaction to a sweater such as that! 😆
I have cashmere sweaters I got in Temple Street Night Market in 1994 that I still wear every year. They look great. the babies are so cute even when being terrors. Much useful advice in this video. TY.
Oh my word! Those kittens are the best sidekick ever!! 😂🤣 Maybe they're not being adopted because they belong with you ☺️💖 I'll finish watching a bit later today, got to get the doggies here fed.... 😄
Love the focus put on authentic materials! Wool, silk... meant to last for years and years. A large part of my wardrobe are pieces from the 90s until 2010s, combined with more actual pieces, especially shoes. Do not worry about weight changes over the years, there is always a way to wear tops when they are a little loose like shown in this great video. French woman here, if anybody is interested... but actually not important !
Those breathing holes in the white sweater are called ' ajour '😊 I love your hairstyle. I'm trying to let it grow to get the same style. Love from the Netherlands, Wilma. 😘
Talk about grace under pressure! You handled those kittens wiith great aplomb :) I love hearing you talk about French girl style, and you totally pulled off the bubbly dress look- so cute on you!
First thing I noticed in this video was the change in makeup - so glowing, gorgeous! Then the kittens 😅, but when I’d restarted and paid attention to what you were saying I found myself inspired! I’m a big woman and, although shrinking, I do still have the mindset of covering up, not necessarily trying to look my best. I’m changing that, having recently come through a long bout of depression (weight a symptom, not the cause, but it didn’t help recovery!). I paused the video and ordered a couple of BNWT cardigans from eBay. One pure cotton, one pure cashmere - because, yes, I deserve it too. That elephant cardigan was divine and really got me. Thanks for these videos - love them! 😊
I know it seems like a change in makeup, but it's actually a change in my skincare! I'll be talking about it soon, but it's definitely at least halfway due to this, LED mask from Qure! www.qureskincare.com/UNBLAHYOURSELF
This video is perfect and right on time!! I’m going through my closet to make a one month capsule and I was about to fall down the hole of leggings and tshirts for every day. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I just think you and your kittens are the cutest! I love that you love cutesy details as much as I do. I always feel self-conscious putting them on, like people will think I’m trying to dress too young, but the truth is femininity is for every age 🧡
What a great video, thank you. I don't wear sweaters and during your video, I realized why. I'm very "top-heavy" compared to the rest of my body so if I get a sweater to fit the chesticles, it is way too big for the rest of me. I don't mind restyling fabric, but working with knits is too fussy.
I absolutely love your style, Diana! Even though most of what looks fantastic on you, would not work for me, it is a joy to watch you put together these unique, playful and soft looks. I also appreciate the tips you give for finding and caring for quality and vintage pieces.
The white sweater with open knit is called Pointelle knit if anyone is looking to buy one. You have inspired me to start a camisole collection! Also thank you for the permission to stand out and be different. Yesterday I was somewhere and everyone was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and I felt out of place for wearing jeans with a blouse and pretty cardigan. Guess I’m just going to do me.
I have a huge drawer full of silky camisoles and never ever wear them but I want to never thought of putting them under sweaters because I thought it would be less warmer that way but ok I can’t wait to see what you come up with you are fun and amazing 🥰😘
🎉Congrats on your fabulous brand new book 📖 on 🇫🇷French GIrl chic w/an 🇺🇸American twist🎉. It's just what the world🌐 needs. 🙏🏾Hope it sells out! 💝Loved your deep dive on knit & sweaters French Girl style. 🎀Like that it's unapologetically feminine to the point of girly-girl ♀️ on the one hand. Adore all those charming details. It's something I gravitate towards, but something I rarely wear😂. 🤗Cute brings out my natural girlishness. It's never suited my voluptuous shape〰️ or my now mature age. These ultra femme elements tend to bring out my inner Disney 👑princess. That vibe feels more suitable for Sunday School💒 vs real world🌐. 💖Love the 70s fashion era. Short waistcoats, longline gilets, & trench coats of all lengths. Don't mind leaning into vintage, when it has a simplicity of silouette & style, esp. in knits. A minimal, timeless classic cashmere that leans slightly glamorous doesn't add bulk or volume around large breasts👍. 😊A cardigan's versatility as a top or topper should NOT be underestimated. In our climate, a lightweight & natural fiber knit also has much more flexibility for year round use in LA too. It's more feminine vs matronly. The silky underlayer is everything, esp. in chilly weather. Love cosy, chunky cable knits, but they don't love me back🤣. Also skip statement sleeves & sloping shoulders in sweaters. Avoid anything that adds more horizontal heft ↔️. Like to add subtle shoulder pads in a body con undergarment. It's more secure, & this structure balances⚖️ out my hips⏳️. 🤓Prefer focusing on my vertical line↕️ w/continuous color (vs choppy color). What a perfect way to explore the highly personally flattering silhouette of short skirts, shorts, & dresses. This hem length balances⚖️ out my longer thighs & shorter calves and slightly longer torso too, esp. if I wear flats. 🤫Except mini skirts do make me slightly anxious. A bit of modesty is important, tights allow my backside/thighs some needed coverage. 😬In Spring/Summer, I'll do that w/a long, light topper layer to conceal that area. Or, I'll tie a decoy sweater around my waist. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

@maryguzzardo7658 Hi Mary! For now you can find the eBook on my website www.unblahyourself.com but Within a few days it will be available digitally and in paperback on Amazon.
You've got a lot of sweaters. Maybe you live in cold climate. Never did like the black loafer, black is too harsh with denim in my opinion. Loved the last 2 looks with the dark jeans and metallic shoes, very nice indeed. Loved the kitty cat too.
@unblahyourself I always do. I love the realness of your videos. Very approachable with great advice for fashion and life. You make me hopeful for growing older. Keep up the great work! (But also rest if you need it ❤️)
Love this. I have a closet full of beautiful vintage sweaters. One-of-a-kind gems for sure. I’ve had great luck thrifting beautiful cashmere turtlenecks, and thankfully a turtleneck is a great look on me and a staple in my winter wardrobe.
