Silk jersey “ski underwear” are a must. I wear such a top everyday, and the pants as needed. These also keep winter woolies clean and fresh and it’s so much easier to toss a silk tee in the wash (“hand-wash” gentle cycle, hang dry) than hand-wash a cashmere sweater, or take it for dry-cleaning. I have lots of the tops with different necklines, including a few turtlenecks, for daily wear so I only have to do laundry weekly. It’s a good time of year to find these, L.L.Bean and Lands End, both US, always have them in season. I have also found some on Amazon, either in pure silk or blended with breathable rayon, which I also like. I learned about silk long johns from an article about the former Princess of Wales, Diana, 40 years ago, who called them her “winter secret” for staying warm. It works. It also stops the itching and irritation that those of us with hyper-sensitive skin can get from even good Merino wool and cashmere.
The *suluxy* are really good these days. Especially LV. To be honest, a birkin or a Kelly at the end of the day, is really just a simple bag to make.. so it’s not that hard to make it perfectly like the authentic. I say it’s a win. I own a couple and I’m not ashamed. I’ll save the 20,000 plus per bag and use it for my children and trips instead.
I love everything including hairstyle ! Hats shown are cute and stylish yet so practical and a must in 🇨🇦 with the frigid winters . ❤Thanks for ideas for a classic and chic wardrobe ! Merci!
I wear a silk base layer under cashmere for daily winter wear, too. Long, 100% wool skirts and coats are essential, as are tall leather/suede boots and tights. I also love wearing a wool or cashmere dress over a silk base layer, so comfy and easy. I always prefer a skirt outfit or dress over trousers, which I don’t find as comfortable, especially jeans.

I so agree, the best natural-fiber fabrics and materials are essential, it’s the most important thong to me. As for style I agree, too, classic, feminine and elegant forever!
Nice. Love the idea of cardy over a long topcoat. Great colour options too -- you can't go wrong with navy and grey. The trousers look big though and would prefer them with a belt.

Questo è il mio stile preferito! 😍 Prendo sempre ottimi consigli da questo canale e li replico. Per me lo stile parigino è sempre stato e sempre sarà il piu bello, semplice, comodo ed elegante che una donna possa indossare. Merci beaucoup 😘
These lovely outfits may work for a lifestyle of hopping in and out of taxis as mentioned, but not actual walking in Paris in subzero temps. That wool beanie is €700. How can anyone afford a taxi after buying it??
So love love love your ideas, classic and stylish. What bag were you wearing at look4 and that beautiful fabric hat, kindly advise. Really love them both. xoxo. From Alsace 68
I have one *suluxy* bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
J'ai du mal à me projeter dans certaines tenues car je pense être trop petite, mais je me trompe peut-être.
The things I really liked were not linked. The black wool skirt clicks on to a denim skirt-very different vibe and the grey wool trousers are not listed. Too bad.
One look which would be so cute would be those fab cuffed jeans with the white silk blouse tucked in, some purple socks, red Carel shoes (French) and a distressed choc brown leather jacket👍
Sticking to classics and neutral colors is too easy. It’s all mix-and-matchable by default and requires zero creativity or taste. Looks good but we learn nothing
You're right. I am not fan of French styling in this regard. Watch Italy walk videos. You see colors. Look around ourselves and see contrasting colors and not neutrals although I like neutrals too. My wardrobe consists of every color that you can imagine. I never liked manly blazers on women. I like to dress feminine.
If you look in my wardrobe, you will see classic neutral items on the left and colourful statement items on the right. From that I can create different looks: "Classic + Classic " eg Black Jeans + White T-shirt "Classic + Statement Piece" eg Black Jeans + Funky Red Jacket "Statement + Statement". Funky Red Jacket + Multi-coloured print dress I always think of French Style as Classic + Classic. Italian Style as Classic + Statement Piece Fashionista / Fashion Editor style is Statement + Statement. We all need a few well chosen classic basics in our wardrobe as they are the building blocks. Then it is nice to add a few statement pieces that reflect our personal style and interests. We all need to work out how comfortable we are in these 3 different types of looks. All Classic looks too boring on me. All statement pieces look too OTT on me. I feel and look best in Classic plus an interesting statement piece. Maybe you do too and that is why you did not like this UA-cam video. Accessories such as shoes can also be classic or statement in style.
Lilysilk is not chic. Lilysilk is made completely neutral because they didn't put a lot of money into development. It is kept neutral so that it appeals to as many customers as possible. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with interesting clothes and certainly nothing to do with high-quality design. I would never buy anything there.

I wish the pale rose alpaca coat had been linked….it made the whole outfit.
Few seasons back so no longer available 🙌.

Beautiful body and simplicity are the keys of French charm ❤
Good old style for the tall woman. But I'm not tall. I prefer Chinese and Korean outfit❤
Very inspiring and I have most of the items, thank you ❤

great video! could you share the reference of the beautiful earrings? thank you very much!
Trial and error. Perfect
When you wear a sweater round your neck like some kind of scarf, you are considered posh and hautain in the Netherlands.
Is posh considered bad or a good thing? I'm not sure 😅
so chic! I love it!
