The reason green works with the floral is, let's see, what can we usually find with flowers in nature? Leaves! Also, it contrasts with pink, red, coral, many floral colours.
Also, the tone in the green shirt and in the dress colors are about the same.
The Halloween selections at GW have some fabulous vintage pieces. Found a 1940 Scaparelli jacket with fabulous shocking pink lining..and handmade beaded buttons. $1 for that old thing.

I don't see anyone my age wearing band t's but I love the idea of wearing one like my KISS Destroyer shirt with a lace or tulle skirt. I'm also a scarf wearer so maybe a black & white print one with silver threads running through it to tie it all together & it's fringey so I'll let those hang loose. Oh can't forget some earrings or a pile of bracelets or a handful of rings

Elegant… understated is overrated. You need to have stature and bring presence (height, strong features, good hair, etc.) to truly look elegant, not blah IMO. If I tried ‘elegant’ I would just look like something is missing.
I have watched so many videos on dressing elegantly and they were all so boring! I started to think something was wrong with me because it just wasn't resonating. I just want things to be a little more... unpredictable!

I've watched videos on dressing elegantly and they're ok. But I notice a serious lack of color and patterns. I love colors and floral prints in my clothes.
