Best Band, Best Song, Best Album All Time,,,,, the beatles,,,
No
@@superpalfun5000 Yes.
All time most overrated pop band! From somebody who lived thru those times, “
@@blackvegetable563
I didn't lived these times, but i agree. Maybe they are the most over rated group ever. For me the best band 60s has to offer is Big Brother & The Holding Company.
Of course
The Doors need to be on this list.
Every single album here is a masterpiece, but the music from this era cannot be narrowed down to just ten.
Correct
Agree! They totally ignored Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Creedence, The Doors, ... too many are missing.
Furthermore all albums are post 1966.
BTW, if you have to put The Beatles, choose Sgt.Pepper's or White Album
Agreed.,

Nice list! In my opinion, The Doors should be at here... I may also think so because its my favorite album (Debut) of all time
No order
Moody blues - To our children children's children
Iron Butterfly - In a Gadda da Vida
The Beatles - Revolver
Led Zeppelin - II
Rolling stones - Let it bleed
Santana - Santana
Procol Harum - A salty dog
The Beatles - White album
Joe Cocker - With a little help from my friends
Jethro tull - Stand up
Nice
Lotta good tunes on that list. Moody Blues was the best absolute best in LSDmusic. PS I recollect being in a church with a pipe organ. The reasonable appearing man practicing suddenly gave me a dark look when I asked him if he could play Inna-Gadda-Davida.
S.F. Sorrow - Pretty Things?
First concept album.
A nice selection of albums. Some groups I hadn't heard before but enjoyed them. I really loved the Beach boys ", Pet Sounds " . It was their reply to the Beatles "Sergeant Peppers " Thanks for sharing....God Bless.
Pet Sounds was released before Sgt. Peppers. It was their answer to Rubber Soul.
@@Chris-fd9sg You are right there. I didn't realize rubber soul was a concept album. It must have been because it was a collection of quality tracks. I also read recently that Frank Sinatra's lp " In the We Small Hours " ,released in April 25th 1955 was also a concept album. I guess that there were others prior to that as well.
@@thomasbain9241 all good ones
Much better than the mess they have made today
There were a lot of very good LPs in the '60s, even a fair number of great albums, from an era when audio and recording technology were still pretty Stone Age. The Beatles recorded Revolver on their 4-track machine. Digital was still a distant dream throughout the decade. From Bob Dylan's masterful albums of 1962-'63, to the Beatles A Hard Day's Night, a prodigious leap forward even for them, the album as a palette for the artist to explore a theme was off to a good start. It was a lot of fun ...
I think this list stands up to criticism, these are a stroll through the best of the 'Sixties:

First time I came across an all time list was 1978 when Billboard put out their top 15. Forever Changes by Love was the only pick I had never heard of. It lived up to its billing.
The Doors first two albums are far better than any listed here.
and The Kinks various!!!
This is a bit exaggerated... If their first album was better then Abbey Road, everyone in history had forced to tell it aloud!
I couldn't stop at 10...or 100...maybe 1000.
The Doors???
Sgt Pepper and Pet Sounds - лучшие альбомы в истории
Nice picks
All great LP's. My favorite is Music from.Big Pink. Wish I still had the ones I bought!!!
Where are the DOORS ? 🇺🇲 🖤
I've got them all!
Beatles extraterrestri super!
Doors,Buffalo Springfield,Led Zeppelin 1,The Who...Come on man give your head a shake !
Classic Stones 🇬🇧
No CCR and Doors !! WHF!
I respect the variety. This list could easily be ALL Stones, Beatles and Dylan.
Give Half Breed by the keef Hartly band a look
A classic
I need to
And the Doors forget ?
So I'm gonna believe you didn't just make all ten of your list Beatles albums in the name of parity and fairness. But, really, you know it should be all Beatles.
Where is Love , Forever Changes
Magnífico!!
The best of the all!
MIA: The Byrds - Mr. Tambourine Man, Younger Than Yesterday, Notorious Byrd Brothers, Sweetheart of The Rodeo. Classics and landmarks.
The Doors: Strange days and Cream: Disraeli gears
Lose Zombies and Velvet Underground and add Doors and Led Zeppelin and your list would be much better:)
Seriously, a Zombies record that's never been heralded, but you'll ignore The Kinks "Arthur" not to mention "The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society?"
The Kinks forever!!
The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society (1968) | The Kinks !!!!
The Rolling Stones=Aftermath=1966
Where's Sgt. Pepper?
In Abbey Road
No Cream or Led Zep?Wtf.
Beatles ain't rock...to have rock you need a drummer who rocks...not a sissy.
No Jethro Tull,Moody Blues or Cream -just for starters.Who compiled this list? Just for the record Van Morrison is NOT ROCK.MOR Pop pap at best.Time for a rethink I reckon.
