Yep let's pick and nice looking blond to represent the force, not forgetting the majority of the service is men. It looked good though didn't it! Fucking political correctness!
I've been a retained firefighter for over 15 years my friend, and seen some awful sights........nothing pretend about seeing a dead burnt body or a smashed RTC victim.........try it yourself before you take the mickey
I have also been a retained firefighter for 10 years and I have seen some disturbing sights. but I have also found it highly rewarding being able to save lives. It is the most rewarding job you can have. The next time your house is on fire and you are stuck inside I hope I get called to it only to say sorry but I am just a pretend fire fighter
NO THEY ARE NOT! I worked in Essex Fire & Rescue for nearly 30 years and was proud to count both retained and wholetime firefighters as dedicated and hard working colleagues. Be sure of your facts before you make such dumb comments in future.
Same training as whole time firefighters lol ??? Never heard such rubbish in my life ? And I'm sure the wealth of her 4 years of part time experience must be inspirational at a major incident lol ????????
How are they not trained the same? They do the same course. They attend the same drill nights. They do the same exercises. They respond to the same emergencies.
@@zVxSolo I did a 13 week wholetime recruits course , followed by a 2 week BA course . Drilled nearly every shift for my first 2 years . Got a tested on drills by a Divisional Officer at 7 months , 14 months , 21 months , had to know about every piece if equipment carried on the appliance inside out. And got tested on every subject in every manual of firemanship. Also in first 4 years had to attend a extra week hot fire training of BA exercises . And to obtain full pay , at the end of four years had to attend a weeks course nd prove thougher knowledge of drills , equipment etc ? Don't even bother telling me on call get any where as near that much training on a couple of hours drill night once a week , where a hour of that is drinking tea lol ????
