Hi! We are a carpet laundry. Clients brings their carpets for us to clean (about 100 rugs a day). They are in various condition and some of them are more dirty than the others. We show you the dirtiest ones (often they are kept outside as entrance matts, in garages, shops or construction sites).
If the rug lives on the dirt of course it will get terrible. Or maybe it was lost in a shed.

You can find rugs that dirty in the homes of senior citizens who haven't spring cleaned their homes in 20 years. Just a rug in a heavily foot trafficked area full of heavy smoking, spilled beer and 20 years of dog naps, and old person gunk. That's where you find these rugs.
Of course you're right about such places.
But this rug had dirt clods on it! Like it was stored for years outside in the dirt.
I'm so happy you guys got the new brush! It's the same one MountainRugCleaning uses and it's my favorite out of any rug cleaning channels.
They've had that rake for a long-time but it is good! Too bad James doesn't use it much

I see alot of people saying "how can someone allow their rugs to get that filthy"... do people forget flash floods? Coal companies, farm areas.... (some use rugs to wipe mud off shoes/boots) or so much as leave it outside. Its not hard to destroy a rug lol 😂

I'm not sure if it's just me, but it looks like you might have your exposure up a little high in your recent videos. The foam and the floor seem overly bright to me and hard to look at, I'm sorry to say.

This is somewhat relaxing to view.. somehow i wish i could overthink my career choice.. seems to be a very relaxing thing to do ... and you can show something at the end of the day... love it :)
You may think its relaxing... but the reality is its super hard work, requiring physical strenght, and you're working with cold water all the time, in humidity. It only looks relaxing:)

I find this method of cleaning such a small rug over laborious. I have clean many area rugs and always star with angling the rug and hitting it first from the backside with first a simple open hose and the work up through various tips from the back with plain old weather and a pressure washer. I then suck out as much of the muck as I can with a powerful shop vac while someone else constantly wets the carpet from the back. Once we have clear water coming out of the hose we apply the cleaning solutions and cleaning machines. We get awesome results with far less effort but it’s nothing to video and post. These are at least intriguing to watch.

I have looked at a number of these and it seems to me that the rugs must be in some kind of flood. That is the only thing that would make these rugs so uniformly filthy. Plus they seem wet from the beginning. Love to see the final product.
