God bless you, Ladislav, your video just saved me a fortune, bought 2 capacitors for 1 euro, replaced them and boom!, the error has dissapeared and my boiler is now working normally, no F. 61 error anymore for 1 week already! Thank you for your effort of making this video, and thanks also to other commentators for valuable inputs. Checked later the removed capacitors, they were way out of tolerances, one was dead completely.
All boiler engineers should watch this!! I had an F.61 fault on my Vaillant Eco Tec Plus, and the engineer simply replaced the whole PCB without even considering the possibility of testing the capacitors. Who trains these guys?
Note to viewers. When you change your caps, after installation of the PCB press the ignition button on your boiler to reset the F.61/62 errror otherwise the error will still remain. My caps had high ESR also and validated it with a ESR meter, unfortunately you can't test ESR with a multimeter and it's not the same as resistance as the dude in this video keeps saying. The capacitors only cost a few pounds if not less and you will need to unsolder the old ones off and replace them with the new ones, making sure you note the orientation of the negative and positive terminals, so you can correctly solder the new ones in place.
@@sukisingh7268 they are the c5 and c9 caps on the PCB. Only carry out the repair to your competence level. If you don't have electronics basics and soldering skills then have an electrician carry out the repair for you.

Hi, nice to hear. I remember the feeling. It is like magic. My boiler running without issue from that time I replaced both capacitors.

I changed both capacitors on my vaillant 837...f61 and f62 errors...after changing the boiler was back on running...saved 200£ on a new pcb
I can confirm after two winter month, that the fault disappear after the caps replacement.
Where would i buy the capicitors from?
Here in Czech Republic example: www.gme.cz/v/1489656/hitano-ce-470u-35vit-hit-esx-10x20-rm5-bulk-elektrolyticky-kondenzator
Ok so how do i fit new capacitor?
