you can leave this damn thing on low you don't have to have it on high whatsoever my bedroom got nearly 80° on the low setting but the temperature midway basically in the middle and I didn't have to worry about it I left it on all night and felt very hot the next morning when I got up I was very sweaty

No timer though and quite noisy type of a heater ..
And the one that we purchased has no remote control kinda disappointed..
