The triangle is the air direction
its the same as the Amazon basics its a good fan i enjoyed the video
Very great fans. I recommend these
After time the spindle the blade slides onto gets a little loose with some play in and out and makes a wobbling noise on many of these fans. Do you know how to fix that? Hope you can help
it starts up slowly for a 1725 rpm split phase motor maybe cause it is newer or the fan blade slows it down
Hey mate I just picked up a Sanyo ef-6dv can you tell me anything about like the year please
Pretty sure I’ve seen those in 1980s Dayton catalogs.
I had one of these when I was young back in 05
The 9166F listing says it is a "whole house fan". It has 20" blades. Yours does say 'whole house' but in the description: "powerful enough to provide air movement to the entire home or office". I'd love to see you do another vid on this fan. Close off all the rooms except for the room farthest away - open a window there and hold a ribbon or something, yeah? That's what window fans of yesteryear could do. I want one of these but not sure it will pull air through the entire house. Think about it? Cheers
I bought mine new in 09 just went out after a fall from hip high shelf.. but still turns on. In search of new replacement blade...so I don't have to buy a new 1...I am SOLD On this fan! 60$ well spent on 2009
How do you get it open to clean
That would be a model 2151
Tiny
This is a Duracraft Newbury Street fan.
I own roughly 16 or so fans. I'm a fan of fans. I remember my dad had one of these when I was a kid. It always put me to sleep. I miss this kind of fan. Wish they still made them.
Mines blow hot air in a hot garage. Is that normal?
Wow ! Came with a box ! Fabulous ! I just found a Sears model. Almost identical. But with amber coloured blades. Love it
Thank you! I couldn't figure how these legs were supposed to go. D'OH!
You can easily reattach the shoulder strap using the adjustable component!
Can I buy parts for it
Can you buy parts for it
What would you recommend for the loudest clamp fan? I'll be using it for a bunk, and I also like loud fans for white noise. Thank you!
Seems like all these have warped blades cause they are all very fast. I have a 1997 98 3733 that runs that fast and I took the blade and heated them and unwarped them now it runs normal speeds and moves more air. They didn't have quite enough pitch
we have these in the UK
They clean up just fine. Kind of a b!tch to get back together but better than buying a NEW one. But yeah. Mines red tho. I absolutely love mine fr
This is the first time I see RAKS exporting fans to the USA
I've heard many people claim these lakewoods are their favorite. I never really understood why, mostly due to the materials used.
I have never seen a 16" blue galaxy fan the only one ive seen was a brown one
I have at least four of these fans mostly 12" and one is a 16"
Do you have any blue ones? Willing to sell?
you are likely the only attendee that noticed or appreciated these fans. there's beauty in that.
Big evaporative cooling

How to disassemble for cleaning
Kick ass fan for the money, my Air King 18” seems to promote better circulation but this is really solid! The Air King is much heavier and 3x as expensive! My Air King died after 14 years and picked this up, we shall see how it lasts!
Wonder if it’s energy efficient. Just bought one today. Curious to know the watts or just how much energy it will use.
I have yet to find someone on UA-cam that has cleaned one of these blowers.
Does this motor use the huddled windings?
Does anyone have a guess of the life expectancy of these fans in continuous operation? I'm using one to blow air on my air conditioning air handler which has condensation problems on the outside. The air flow on low speed eliminates the condensation so just wondering what kind of life I'll get out of one of these fans in continuous use.
❤
Great review for the average household. Just picked up one from Costco for $59.99 so you got a great deal! Amazon is at $104. as of this date.
7:40 That fastener isn't original
I have one Similar called a Sanyo Sleep-Maker desk fan.
The blue bladed ones definitely get my attention.
its so nice hearing you talk passionately about your fans. i do enjoy this content.
Wow, nice youtube channel. I like your videos. It's a shame that they don't make these like they used to. I guess if we want quality we must go back in time... However, I don't see any vintage oscillating fans with a pedestal. They're all table-top fans, not pedestal. Do you know if this exists?
I got a stand fan exactly like that but the badge has waves in the middle instead of plain, missing an end cap too and plastic part on the upper part of the stand.
Ugh! Totally tricked. I wanted to watch how it’s cleaned and all this video shows is a dirty fan. Waste of time
Hiw do you disassembled this
We’re to find blade replacement
