you could probably just replace the shaft and/or bearings to fix it
Cute little heater - I’m looking to add a few to my collection working or not , Yes , They still make them under different names now ,
nice, I think the bearings are worn
3 bladed fan most likely
Dude the amount of spider webs is kinda alarming
How old is this fan it seems like mid 200
I have this fan mine is from 1996 and it has a slightly bigger blade.
Did you not take it apart? Need a breakdown video
I need parts
Still got the fan
Call me crazy, but I could have sworn this was done many, many years ago. Reason why I say that is I remember seeing some sort of box fan with a rear mounted filter at my grandparent’s house about 20 years ago. Don’t remember what make or model it was (possibly was a GE, maybe a Signal), but remember it had some sort of fiberglass filter mounted to the back. I’m sure some fan experts are able to decipher what manufacturer made that particular fan I described.
nope
@ ?
@ this was new
Mine stopped heating???
How many Dayton fans are in that shop
I would guess around 150. I’ll attempt to count sometime.
@ that’s a lot of Daytons I’m sure there’s a mix of air kings and laskos as well
I have one with a box I got liquidator store last Friday the same fan with a box
these fans need cleaned severely
That belt is flopping everywhere lmao
Hello MostlyFans. Thank you so much for your super-informative fan videos. They have been very helpful to my purchasing decisions. Would you be kind enough to post the total "width" dimension (left-to-right facing front of fan) including the stand for the Masterforce 14-inch DC Shroud Fan? Thank you in advance. Matt
Nice review 👍
What year did you say it was?
Product is piece of junk. My stopped heating. It only produces fan air.😡🤬
I had a fascination with blow mold decorations as a kid. The lamp post and the Noel candle I had also. Blow molds go for high prices on Ebay now and it's sad they no longer make these things anymore. It seems now the polyester fabric inflatable figures are the thing today.
How do you find the date on these fans?
Powerful fan i migjt be getting the same one mint/new from 1986-87 a 1987 P-223 good video and i enjoyed it

Nice i got the navy blue easy home one good video and i enjoyed it
Loved this! ❤ thank you for making a video to share more about your staplers.
I have the 9” version, and the capacitor on the motor dates 1978
I love this fan i use this EVERY NIGHT ive beeb trying to find how old it was because ive had it forever
That fan is a workhorse.
My family has the exact same fan in my garage!!!!!
Definitely made by Sanyo. Does the blade have any model numbers on it?
I have a national pedestal fan that is pretty similar.
These old fans had so much style.
Thanks for the video. I have one of these and it said 2.1amps on the bottom of the fan. That seemed extremely high for a box fan. I noticed, however, that the motor you show says 1.2 amps. That sounds a lot more reasonable... though still a little high. I suspect they just made a typo when they marked the bottom of the fan itself. Edit: I just seen that your replacement motor is 2.1 amps. So, maybe mine actually is 2.1 amps. That's about 250 watts. That's pretty high isn't it? Other fans I have are only like 45 watts. Though, they aren't the bigger box fan. Plus, this Lakewood one is VERY powerful when on full. You put it on carpet and it will easily blow itself over.
You mentioned Menards. I use them quite often and have been very happy with the service I have been receiving from them. Personally I think they are a much better home improvement center then Home Depot or Lowe's.
I just scored this model at Goodwill, excellent condition too. Cleaned up really nice. Do you spray any solvents, degreasers, or anything at all into the motor windings to get the dust out? I used my air compressor and a dry paint brush to agitate the dust in the motor, but not as clean as yours is. Any tips?
I'm so glad I found your video. I just picked up the 16'' from an estate sale for $6 and I was trying to date it. I was surprised that I could not find any information about it when searching. So thank you!
Would love to see your unit too!
I’m glad air king is still using the older designs lol
I may get one of these or get a air king 9102
It’s a childhood tower fan
Useful video, are the final results available in text anywhere? I've been thinking of buying a new fan and I'd like one with more CFM.
I think this one is from 1983. I bought a new old stock one from 1984 (the box says 2150c) i bought it for $80 and it is just like this but doesn't have a handle and it has a newer plug but still says LMP on it. It had a 22 second spin down time the first time i ran it for a short test. I mad the lady selling it half way and she was going to charge a fee for that, but she changed her mind about it.
I've always wanted one of these!
Pointless
The triangle is the air direction
its the same as the Amazon basics its a good fan i enjoyed the video
Very great fans. I recommend these
After time the spindle the blade slides onto gets a little loose with some play in and out and makes a wobbling noise on many of these fans. Do you know how to fix that? Hope you can help
it starts up slowly for a 1725 rpm split phase motor maybe cause it is newer or the fan blade slows it down
Hey mate I just picked up a Sanyo ef-6dv can you tell me anything about like the year please
