So far it's the Kobe 6 Protro for me 🔥 but if something that can be bought readily NOW I'd say Lebron 20.

Found lebron 20s for $50 and that was probably the best deal Ive had the past six months. Not really sure if i like the 21s over the 20s but definitely like the 20s over the NXXT Gen

Agree with the GT Hustle 2 💯 very comfy shoe but I did experienced lateral instability when doing very hard lateral cuts fortunately I didn't twist my ankle badly.
I’m a go with the Converse Trilliants. Pretty much Nike. My #1 at the moment. Awesome video as always. 🍻

Thx Tommy, great review...I like and play in the Lebron 21's. My only complaint is the tongue is thick/doesn't breathe well and the traction suffers on dusty courts. I'm likely going to pick up another pair since they are on sale.

I agree with the gt hustle 2. Torsional support is not an issue. Very low to the ground and wide foot friendly. i think it would be perfect for guards.
Agree with the GT Hustle, love the cusion, yet low to the ground feeling, and the fit. No issues on torsional support.

The GT Cut 3 looks awesome and kinda oldschool. They remind me of Nike Air Zoom Flight 5 and Nike Zoom BB 3
If people ever complain about the price, there's always a sale eventually. I just picked up a LeBron XXI for under $100. Absolutely amazing shoe. Great to have some good court feel with tons of bounce and impact protection. A rare balance.

Hi, yeah tough one - that makes it a hard decision I know. I’d usually end up getting the Freak 5 on sale in this case, but again if you’re patient enough, GT Cut Academy will eventually go on sale too. Pure performance wise, Freak 5 has better cushion/responsiveness but traction they’re both elite.

To be absolutely honest I’m in a similar boat, in terms of the pure level of performance I get from their products. But you know Nike has always excelled and dominated with their marketing, and I myself fell for the hype MANY times still on a regularly basis 😅 The reality is they still dominate this market lol

The GT Hustle 2 is great at everything. Except for the torsion support. Which is a bummer. Might be a personal preference, but because of that I almost dont use it to play. I bust it out only when the court is super dusty.

Hey Tommy, I honestly didn't like the Lebron 21s the tongue was too stiff and would go into my ankle Everytime I jump shot or took a step I think it was a big issue. I'm surprised that doesn't happen with you? The tongue doesn't dig into your ankle? I'm going to go with Gt Hustle 2 and KD 16 the tongue doesnt look like it would do that. What do you think?
Hey, I see right I didn’t have that type of problem with the tongue from my experience. I mean maybe it’s because I’ve had much worse from other brands, like Chinese brands… And yes you shouldn’t have that issue with those two, especially the KD’s it’s more of a short tongue clean and crisp.

I personally think the kd 15s are better than the 16s, but i understand why they arent on the list. 16 can be found on sale more recently, and tbh the performance isnt that bad, ive just heard complaints about the traction
The solid rubber traction is iffy (I’ve slid out a couple times), but from what I’ve heard translucent traction is really good.
@@zacjohnson452 i have 2 shoes with translucent rubber, mb02, and pg 6, and from my experiences they pick up a lot of dust but when you wipe its outstanding

Lebron 21 won’t even make my top 10, I played in the black pair, went true to size and my toes got destroyed. Also the laces when tied to the top had a pressure point at the ankle and it burned my skin

Hi sorry that the clips can be misleading. Doing those movements, to test forefoot traction for example, my feet get pushed so hard into the front end I noticed that too. Most of them even feel too tight in reality. I’d probably rather do those b-rolls still - dw I know my size lol my feet haven’t grown or shrinked since high school 😂

Lebrons are for fashion not performance basketball. They are way too heavy and a bit clunky. Premium materials usually means extra weight except for maybe flyknit like the Kobe NXT 360 (great bball shoes except the cushion and maybe support). I don't understand why all the reviewers think Lebrons are so great. They look cool but who cares about that if they are heavy. Way overpriced and over hyped. The Lebron NXT's are far better because of the weight and fit although nothing special. Sounds like the GT Hustle 2 are the best nike shoes out there based on this and the other reviews.
