I agree with the gt hustle 2. Torsional support is not an issue. Very low to the ground and wide foot friendly. i think it would be perfect for guards.

Hi, yeah tough one - that makes it a hard decision I know. I’d usually end up getting the Freak 5 on sale in this case, but again if you’re patient enough, GT Cut Academy will eventually go on sale too. Pure performance wise, Freak 5 has better cushion/responsiveness but traction they’re both elite.
Hey Tommy, I honestly didn't like the Lebron 21s the tongue was too stiff and would go into my ankle Everytime I jump shot or took a step I think it was a big issue. I'm surprised that doesn't happen with you? The tongue doesn't dig into your ankle? I'm going to go with Gt Hustle 2 and KD 16 the tongue doesnt look like it would do that. What do you think?
Hey, I see right I didn’t have that type of problem with the tongue from my experience. I mean maybe it’s because I’ve had much worse from other brands, like Chinese brands… And yes you shouldn’t have that issue with those two, especially the KD’s it’s more of a short tongue clean and crisp.
The GT Hustle 2 is great at everything. Except for the torsion support. Which is a bummer. Might be a personal preference, but because of that I almost dont use it to play. I bust it out only when the court is super dusty.

But you know Nike has always excelled and dominated with their marketing, and I myself fell for the hype MANY times still on a regularly basis 😅 The reality is they still dominate this market lol
I personally think the kd 15s are better than the 16s, but i understand why they arent on the list. 16 can be found on sale more recently, and tbh the performance isnt that bad, ive just heard complaints about the traction

Lebron 21 won’t even make my top 10, I played in the black pair, went true to size and my toes got destroyed. Also the laces when tied to the top had a pressure point at the ankle and it burned my skin
Hi sorry that the clips can be misleading. Doing those movements, to test forefoot traction for example, my feet get pushed so hard into the front end I noticed that too. Most of them even feel too tight in reality. I’d probably rather do those b-rolls still - dw I know my size lol my feet haven’t grown or shrinked since high school 😂

The solid rubber traction is iffy (I’ve slid out a couple times), but from what I’ve heard translucent traction is really good.
