- Join me in my first ever gadget review - trying the new health and wellness tracker by Bellabeat, Ivy. It's also smart jewelry, which is a first for me!
Ivy helps women to listen and discover the natural wisdom of their bodies by tracking heart rates in real-time, breathing, sleep, activity and self-care, and correlating all that to their menstrual cycles. It tracks your biometric data and gives you a visual representation in the form of a Readiness Score that shows how ready your body is to take on the day and a Wellness Score that is formed from all those lifestyle habits (sleep, hydration, steps, activity, mindfulness).

I've been using Ivy for a couple of months now, and before that I had fitbit and tried Whoop. So far compared to the other trackers I’ve tried this one is pretty accurate, not just in terms of steps, but sleep, calories burned, heart rate, breathing and they have a readiness score which is always on point. Like if I wake up feeling horrible it’s reflected like that in the score as well. Which surprised me to be honest. And that score is my favorite part of Ivy by far.
Great video. I've just got the ivy (I also wear a fitbit). I love that it does the whole self and wellbeing. Ive had the leaf for a few weeks and it has helped me to see that although I don't go to gym as it's hard to fit in around work and looking after my 2 young kids, I am still pretty active which definetly boosts your well being. I do wear a fitbit watch to but I definitely obsess more over the numbers on the Fitbit as it tells you on the watch than I do with the ivy. Which mentally, the ivy is probably better in that stand point, and I always think the fitbits and sports trackers all look very masculine and clunky, the ivy looks dainty and is definitely less noticeable as a tracker which is great.
Review wise it would be nice to have a check in with thoughts after a day, then a week then a month to see how it's changed with syncing to you personally and how or if your thoughts about it change with more use
0:53 yesssss let's. No shame just info and nice convo. Loving this intro.
When you went for a run, did it automatically track it as activity and therefore logged the calorie burn?
Hi I'm doing a case study for the Google Analytics Certificate on the Ivy Wellness Tracker and this somewhat helped. Thank you!
If I wear it as a clip on my shirt and not on my wrist does the step counter still work accurately?
Will you be doing a book 2021 review?
Wasn’t planning on it, is it something you’re interested in though?
@@StereotypeBreakers will only if you had been reading a variety of tech books this year to give a steer, no worries otherwise
