I don't know how you keep your cool when you have a group of family and friends acting as extensions of your vision. I applaud your patience in the moment as you have shown in the past preperation = success. Stay safe
Sigh. This has been the episode that I have waiting for sense you started on the top. Boy, was wait worth it. Well Done. I bet the cold drink after tasted great. How do you guys feel? Relief, stressed, energized or what.
Janet, Ross congratulations to your big achievement. You both spent so much time and energy into this project. Hopefully you have celebrated this marriage with some glasses. Best Regards
“Go on 3 , 2 , 1 , then go” some time later “1, 2, 3, go” classic! Bloody marvellous effort, best made boat out there. Imagine the short cuts and cost saving pro builders with a budget take to make these boats affordable. Hope your water line isn’t too high with all the extras you are adding! Again, brilliant! Top job to all, and what great mates.
Congratulations Ross, what a milestone, achieved and conquered!! I laughed out loud when Janet said I’m hiding in a closet!! Honestly, my shoulders were cinched up my neck with stress....oh man, that was one heck of an episode, thanks so much!!!!
What a tremendous accomplishment! I was on the edge the whole episode. I have no Idea how you stayed so cool during this. Huge Kudos to you all. Deck and Hull now in one piece. You must feel 10 feet tall! Thanks for sharing!
Missed this when you released the video, Ross, but better late than never! What an amazing effort you, Janet and everyone else put in to achieve a WHOLE boat! Really, really happy to see it all come together. Whew!
Well, it is down! The chaos is when some always want to add 2 cents to everything just to hear their own voice. Well done, Janet and Rosco and to those friends who really did assist.
Well done Ross & Janet. I can't resist this..... its no wonder the Aussie rugby team can't win games with 15 coaches on the field. But seriously that was one hell of a job, I would imagine a pint or two ended a bloody stressful day.
Congrats Ross and Janet. Another significant milestone reached. Well done to all the others who helped reach this point. Finish progress should start to accelerate now. Bet those beers tasted wonderful 🙂
I am glad you showed the Outremer people doing it nine times, makes me wonder how you were able to do it in one go, I guess you knew you only had one shot at it and planned accordingly, spot on people.
Mate, all I can say is congrats. There’s nothing more stressful than deck drop day, or engine lift day, or even launch day, and you guys handled that so well. Can’t wait to see what the internal fit out looks like!
As a veteran of doing close to a thousand CIPP liners and patches I know the stress involved in what you've just done and when talking to others in the industry around the world it is agreed we all manage it but it's not a fun time, good to see your preparation was thorough and that is the key, prep prep and prep plus two layers of planning for early cook off's and cock ups. Congratulations on your success mate you deserved the win, just got to get the lid on it now and things can calm down a bit.
I've been waiting for several years for this moment and it didn't disappoint. Don't know why I should be getting emotional about it but! Well done Ross, Janet and team. Now we have a boat onward and upward.
And the strongest fiberglass boat ever built comes together l love it . Here's to you and family having many great safe days at sea . Looking forward to following your progress finishing out the boat and following your travels.
I give kutoo's to everyone that was there, bearing the burden of the job at hand. Well done you guys and to all of you that commented, stressed out was an understatement in many ways but it came together as planned with a few giggles and seat shifting taboot. It was a very well done job Rossco and Janet, and this is coming from someone that knows nothing about anything, cept getting older and grayer !!!
Well done team. That was stressful. I still can’t believe you could do all that in an hour. Wish I could have helped. Amazing planning and a brilliant outcome.
I was able to feel the stress myself there Ross You all did a great job. Congrats. Now you can let the peace carry you the rest of the way through. Boat looks fantastic Ross. You and Janet must feel relieved that this huge milestone is over with. As I said, congrats.
Well done to the team. That was stressful. I remember making a comment many months ago now where I said that I could not get my head around this evolution of bonding the deck. This video amply demonstrates just how difficult an evolution it was and you are to be congratulated in keeping the team under control throughout the evolution. Good to know you bettered Outremer too. 😀👍⛵️
Awesome Job! Congratulations to all the helpers but YOU ARE THE MAN. You have done so much for so long. Day in and day out. An inspiration, a freakin’ LEGEND!!
It always happens when you get a bunch of experts in a room together plan go out the door. Bloody good effect though to finally get the deck down for the last time.
Congratulations on another massive milestone Ross, Janet and team. Superb effort. Ur meticulous planning has prevailed to a very positive result. So happy for you all to see deck and hull meet. Cheers.
Bloody hell Ross i burnt my dinner back hurts shoulders hurt and my nee and hips are killing me its great to be alive just to watching you gys Thank you hope i can sleep tonight what crew
Excellent achievment, I was having palpitations everybody was talking and nobody listening it appeared to be absolute chaos! but hey it all came together FANTASTIC keep up the good work.
Me too Bill,in reality the difficulty in communication was not helped by the confines of the hull and parts .The lack of dicipline was certainly an issue.Rossco
Congratulations Ross, Janet and crew. Amazing accomplishment. Lots of work left but the dream is so much closer now. Best of luck as you go forward with the project.
For us arm chair boat builders I found this video quite exciting and one of the best ones yet. You guys did an amazing job. Tremendous step forward in the build. I know that cold one tasted good at the end of the day. You guys ROC!
That was epic in 2 ways! I was watching the join and was 10 minutes in on Saturday morning - when I got the Sat morning 8:00 am crisis call from the Footy/Netty Club (Of which I am VP) - Bewsy we need help securing and setting up the new Marquee..... OMG Two high powered, epic builds now going on. So now it's mothers day and I enjoyed watching the "touchdown". Congrats to you all - Cheers Bewsy..
Epic Ross! I love that Janet is getting more comfortable in front of the camera. I really appreciate these videos and cannot comprehend, the amount of pre-planning you must do. You always seem to round up a great crew, for these major milestones. I could go on, forever. A boat building icon, in my book. 🍻🍻
Congratulations. Has been great watching your dream come to life and the big stages and stress brings the most satisfaction. Keep going you and Janet are a mass of inspiration.
Well done to all involved, I almost could not watch, the stress you guy's must have felt I seriously cannot imagine, the project thus far and from now on will seem like a cake walk I'm sure, I know still plenty to do but you are now on the final road to your destination, I wish you all the very best for the journey forward, on ya mate, Al
Amazing congratulations Ross and Janet and crew amazing attention to detail ross and Janet you 2 rock and i cant wait to see you in the water enjoying this massive achievement
Great work Ross! Can understand why you were stressed going into this. Definitely even more of a milestone than de-moulding the deck - feels like you have an actual boat now!
Congratulations! I guess now it is time to start with hull No. 2 .... (I hope you´ve received my order) - thanks a lot for taking us with you on that monstrous mission.
Einstein said that if time didn't exist everything would happen at once. You came close to proving it Ross. You and Janet are lucky to have such great friends. Congrats my friend, Solomon
That was fun. Kept thinking of the consequences of anything going wrong and holding my breath waiting. But as usual, you got this. All hail the algorithm and comment/discuss!
This was the most stressful episode I’ve ever watched. I can only imagine how hectic this was for you guys. Bloody well done man and congratulations on the progress so far. Hats off to all involved. Your determination and perseverance is super motivating. Looking forward to seeing you out there on the water.
I just had the hardest time just reinstalling a trailer fender because the damned butyl tape I put on it kept grabbing the trailer skin in the wrong places. Seems like a teeny-weeny problem compared to dropping your hull. Great prep work and teamwork!
Love your channel and enjoyed this weeks episode just like always... but, I thought it worth noting that after more than 2 years of consistent weekly viewing, *UA-cam saw fit to unsubscribe me against my wishes* - more importantly, they may have done the same to others. I hope this is a passing issue as I am extremely interested in continuing this adventure with you and don't want to miss anything!
I work in an industry where absolute rules compliance is a necessity, so I felt your pain of managing your crew, but I'm glad you got the deck down successfully!
I wonder how they do it in a production line? They must use something other than the glue you use with longer curing times. Helps when they have a huge crane in the factory Enviroment.
I see what you mean about that being more stressful than demoulding. Blimey that clock is a wicked master. I dread to think about the grinding that would have been necessary had there been a holdup on the way down, plus the costs involved in doing it again anyway. Fantastic job by you, Janet & "the crew". So good to have friends and of course Johnny keeping an eye on everything as well making sure it landed perfectly.
That is exactly what we were trying to avoid.$3k in epoxy wasted and weeks of grinding sanding etc to be able to have another shot at it All good in the end. Cheers Rossco
I don't know how you keep your cool when you have a group of family and friends acting as extensions of your vision. I applaud your patience in the moment as you have shown in the past preperation = success. Stay safe
Wow.. im stressed just watching that.. can't imagine the chaos being there.. Great Job!!! You all did amazing!!
Whew! Bloody Marvellous! Organised Chaos with a great team of mates, I am exhausted watching this episode. Well done Rossco, Janet and team.
Sigh. This has been the episode that I have waiting for sense you started on the top. Boy, was wait worth it. Well Done. I bet the cold drink after tasted great. How do you guys feel? Relief, stressed, energized or what.
Hah.I am still getting over having to edit it.That was worse than the actual event.Been pretty hard work since that day.So much to do.Rossco.
Awesome work... Zack was really good on camera at the end there.... Dude is a natural!
He is a great guy and we love him being part of the family.Cheers Ross
Congratulations to Ross and Janet the boat looks marvelous. Now you can relax and enjoy the rest of the build.
I just can’t imagine the stress levels and rocketing blood pressure mate, full of admiration for your resolve and work ethic .
Cheers Paul.Got a bit edgy there for a while but we got it done.Ross
Janet, Ross congratulations to your big achievement.
You both spent so much time and energy into this project.
Hopefully you have celebrated this marriage with some glasses.

That would have been better. At least the procedure would have been adhered to.Ross
Congrats to all of you ! I feel privileged to "know" a few days in advance !
I am glad you showed the Outremer people doing it nine times, makes me wonder how you were able to do it in one go, I guess you knew you only had one shot at it and planned accordingly, spot on people.
The stress was palpable. In fact, I think I was stressed watching! Well done Ross, Janet and the team.

The hard top is on and I am powering along That joining episode was as intense as it gets Ross.
The stress I was feeling just watching I can't imagine the stress you had actually doing the job.
I've been waiting for several years for this moment and it didn't disappoint. Don't know why I should be getting emotional about it but! Well done Ross, Janet and team. Now we have a boat onward and upward.
Thanks Joe,certainly a different story now.Cheers Ross
Rossco's milk crates bring all the boys to the yard and....ya smashed it. I was on edge the whole way through. Sensational episode and achievement👍
