I love Mitsuru so much, at first I wondered why she would appoint Makoto as the leader even though he just got there, but as the story progresses, you see how insecure she is in her abilities as her expectations were always impossible to reach under the Kirijo group. When she says, "I made a mistake appointing you as leader," it feels like she's more mad at herself for not being a good judge of character. She knew Aki was too single-minded to lead, and Takeba was struggling to even summon her persona at the time. Usually, her judgment would be correct as most players would happily adopt the role of the protagonist as that's why they bought the game, but playing into that slacker role hurts Mitsuru more than it does the player's ego. God, I love Mitsuru as a character so much!

They handled the dialogue really well! Just this little bit of dialogue reconnects me to the spirit of P3. Mitsuru has such a strong conviction. Patient yet stern.
