I've listened to this more than 213 times now. I don't ever rate albums and I actively try not to have favourites, but this one's just different. I told myself I'd "grown out of it", but I just kept coming back without any shame. Long taxi rides, sleepless nights, background sound, moments of introspection, you name it, this one has been there for pretty much every moment in my life these two past years, which are years in which I've discovered hundreds of albums and artists. These two definitely made something special here.
Ahoy pplzes! Lately bunch of us are looking for similar Vaporwave "sub genre"... maybe V A P O Rambient. Soooo, i created a list on my channel with 11 videos (till now 11 😉) which in my view, fit this sub genre. Play list is called "Vaporwave goes Ambient 😉" search it or here is the link (delete spaces!) youtube. com / playlist?list=PLUkAMPukytpPZbXpXfGn6bUDl_9OJuknG
No album is comparable to this in my opinion, after discovering 2814 around 3.5 years ago, I've listened to this album on a weekly basis if not more. This album makes me feel empty/void yet human at the same time and it's an extraordinarily unique feeling that keeps bringing me back to it. Truly an album that has had a significant impact on my me.
True love (6th track) is my favourite because it reminds you of sitting in your room while it’s raining and looking outside. Wondering when the one is going to come along and you’ll finally be with her
Distinctly remember my first time hearing this album, on the New York Subway. Moved to NYC in 2016 and I loved just meandering through the streets discovering new music. This album blew my mind right away. I moved away from NYC during Covid, my mental health was suffering greatly during that time and I needed to escape. I feel lucky to have gotten to get away from it but at the same time sad. I miss NYC so much. I look forward to its post-covid resurgence. This album brings out that nostalgia so distinctly. Beautiful creation.
I still don't know how I found that masterpiece. I only know that I've listened to it at least a hundred times on a hundred nights. It calls me when the void within me expands.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of this album. I could listen to it a hundred, five hundred, a thousand times and I will not get sick of it. It's so beautiful.
Had this playing the last night I slept with the love of my life and held them. The last time I truly felt at home. Takes me back to glimpsing those far away everyday moments of pure bliss.
Man I would give my left leg for them to do a new vinyl pressing for this album. They're just impossible to track down nowadays, and the ones that are available are absurdly expensive.
The quality of this album is incredible. I have documented myself with many analyzes, and I advise you to take a whole moment to listen to it, like the moment of sleep. This is where the album will unleash its potential.
My least favorite track is telepathy as it dosent go anywhere till like minutes in and right before that parts happens it gets really high pitched and headache inducing I skipped that part but yeah the rest of the alblums beautiful and really only that one part is skippalble
I've listen to this on a bus on the way to Paris, while sleeping almost every night for 2 years but nothing will compare to watching 4K Japanese street walks until the sun comes up while tripping on acid. This music is undescribabley perfect for tripping out. Best experience of my life
i first heard this in september of 2019 and have found myself coming back over and over. listened to this album at least 100 times and i can safely say it is the single most beautiful album i have ever listened to. always takes me away to some spiritual place of bliss and simultaneously a romantic depression. i cannot thank telepath and hke enough for what they have created, my life would be a lot worse without it.
hate that i discovered this so late :( but it’s such a wonderful album and experience. it sucks that a lot of people i share this with don’t think it’s worth their time to listen too. their def missing out on a beautiful experience
This sounds AMAZING compared to the basic video I was listening to. You can hear the crackles from the needle bumping on all the grooves! Or it's something something A.I. did it idk but what I do know is this is the definitive way to listen to it.
Because there's beauty in the void, or because there's a gnawing nostalgic feeling in it, or the soundscape conjures up multiple worlds, teeming with possibilities...or something beyond all of this. I come away with something new every time I listen to it.
I really wish I could buy this on vinyl. Hopefully the A I that takes over will allow this music to be available in that format for us flesh bags to purchase. (Nes Manga)
I remember tripping extremely hard on benadryl and cough syrup listening to this while laying on my bathroom floor. This album will always have a special place in my heart.
I don't know what it is about track 6, but it reminds me of a girl I used to know. Insecure, uncertain, a little ungainly but always hopeful, full of wide eyed wonder, ready to explore life...and beautiful, in her own unique way. I wish I would have paid more attention to you...

thank you, it is indeed very unique. I listen to new albums regularly, but I try to keep this one special by listening to it on rare occasions.

Same here! I've been listening to this album since 2016 and still do nowadays.

Truly an incredible album. It is timeless and for me it has certainly had a bittersweet resonance with 2020 and feeling isolated.
this makes me really miss the 2990's
Kids today just don’t understand.
Fucking lol!
this is going to be so true one day for those guys, :'( kinda sad we wont ever meet them

The least favorite is the last track, but all of them are simply pure awesome transcendental experience. The best album from 2814, IMO.
Scrap best 2814 album. This is the best vaporwave album ever and potentially a contender for the best album of all time.
My least favorite track is telepathy as it dosent go anywhere till like minutes in and right before that parts happens it gets really high pitched and headache inducing I skipped that part but yeah the rest of the alblums beautiful and really only that one part is skippalble

it's never too late to find a masterpiece. 10 yeas from now, there will be people finding this and I hope someone in 2814 is around to check it out xD
Wow
Feels like I’ve heard this sweet melody for an eternity and now I am here
YES!!!!! so glad this track is back!!! hands down, best album of my life!!!!!!
I’ll recommend this album to anyone, my favorite album of all time!
Why was the original video with millions of views taken down?
It’s UA-cam. It doesn’t make sense.
Just so I remember this pearl:
05. 悲哀 26:15
Aptly titled: Misery.
I didn't want it to end...
New favorite on the album
The first track feels like it’s melting me down listening to this at night or in the shower is heavenly

This is the second comfiest album ever for me besides Depression Cherry by Beach House

Pink Floyd - Brain Damage., it has spoken in the end of the music.

why do I love this so much?
Because there's beauty in the void, or because there's a gnawing nostalgic feeling in it, or the soundscape conjures up multiple worlds, teeming with possibilities...or something beyond all of this. I come away with something new every time I listen to it.

Are there any similar albums to this? This is probably my favourite Ambient album ever and I would love to hear more.
try Submersion, an ambient/dubtechno/field recordings artist.
also of course Liumin CD2 (Reduced) by e c h o s p a c e

what is your turntable setup, Mr. Vapor Memory?
ah really hate no.8 track for its terrible intro and this kind of waves and hi-hats, but in same time it's beautiful.
What’s that last song called? And how did you find it?
It's a bonus track on the vinyl version
Which vinyl pressing is this?
Fuck it, I'm going to spend £120 for a near mint of this, I need it.
