+Black Samurai 76 According to various websites it along with the rest of the bioshock series is going to get a remaster for current gen systems I really hope they do the game justice
Bioshock 2 is my absolute favorite out of the three. I finally got around to starting Minerva's Den, 2 years after initially completing the trilogy. And oh boy, it feels good to roam around again in this setting. Maybe Part 2 didn't have THE plot twist like part 1 but to me it improved upon every aspect of the already truly amazing predecessor.
LittleSisterVision(tm) was more memorable than anything in the first game, which was just...System Shock 2 for some reason? I still don't really understand that.
Great review, one of my favorite games of all time. Whenever I'm bored I just jump into a level of Bioshock and end up playing it for hours. I hope to see the rest of the Bioshock series reviewed by you.
The differences between the bio re-constructors and the vita chamber is: The re-constructors only worked if you had Nanintes (money) left. Made dying a punishment more than a relief. Why this concept got dropped? I dunno. You nailed it again! Top notch review!
Gggmanlives awesome!! been binge watching your staff for three day's now man and i love your work. looking ford to hearing your opinion on bioshock 2. keep it up.
A good review with enticing commentary, shockingly I still haven't played it but have the 2 game "Rapture Edition" for my 360. I like how you showed more of the games strong points than the typical review on the game.
I just thought I'd let everyone know that there's a mod that fixes the physics that are locked at 30 fps. It works on the steam and retail versions with up to 144 fps support. There's no news for Bioshock 2 unfortunately.
The game I'm currently playing. Hopefully I can get back to it soon. I'm almost done but haven't touched it in months! Superb game, really immersive, great review.
Bioshock 2 was a superior game in all ways but story, but I still think the approach they took with the story was quite smart. Bioshock 1 was all about discovering Rapture, so naturally yo can't just repeat that for the sequel. You know Rapture by now. You can't be another silent explorer trapped in crazy town. So they did the next best thing and gave you a more personal stake in events. It's a revenge story, and one where you actually have a reason to be silent. That, and the gameplay was just better. More skills, more enemies, streamlined hacking, and better researching.
After playing through Bioshock 1 too many times to count, discovering things I missed almost every time, and being pissed at the bugged 360's "Brass Balls" achievement not unlocking after several attempts and possible work arounds, I can safely say no game has intrigued me more than this game, even to this day. Bioshock 2, I couldn't get in to. The teaser trailer excited me, the eventual gameplay basically bored me. I went through it not really caring about what was going on, and found the flashbacks from Elanor somewhat cringey. It felt like a game I needed to play rather than wanted to play. But, i've yet to try it again, and i'm keen on doing so.
I have loved this game since it came out and I replay regularly! - I also learned that photographing the teleporting splicers give you "natural camouflage" so you go invisible when you stand still. LOVE LOVE LOVE this game!!!
This is a great game as you said - and I believe it's amazing art style and atmosphere will mean gamers will be enjoying this game for decades to come.
Ok so here is my tought... I played the game, and i semi liked it; because: The game setting and design of everything is amazing and since i love to draw (especially steampunk fantasy etc.) i *loved* the setting and design, BUT what i didn't like about it is the repetitiveness in the game like: Got a weapon, go there and collect that, kill a bunch of enemies on the way, go back kill more enemies, learn more about the storie, get a new weapon, go there collect that, kill more enemies, etc... But the game was really good but i never finished really (came to the orphanage and didn't go past that) because i felt bored playing over and over the same thing... *I don't know why i REALLY want to love the game and i do but not that much*
+SeriousGamer753 The game unfortunately does just sputter to a halt after Hephaestus. It has such a fantastic build up. Gradually introducing you to the history of rapture and the various gameplay elements and it climaxes with one of the best twists in any video game. But then it just goes on... and on... and on... far past it's prime until you are just bored shitless at the end. It's a shame because the first 2 thirds of the game are so damn amazing. But I agree, the last area of the game in particular, Point Prometheus is where the game goes from mediocre, to just bad. The audio logs disappear into nothing but boring technical details and the architectural design is repetitive and simplistic. It just looses so much steam by going on far longer than it should have. If it was a 6-8 hour game it would have been a masterpiece.
Glad to hear G call this game out for what it is: dumbed down System Shock 2. Not bad, but not nearly as thrilling, deep, immersive or satisfying a gaming experience as SS2.
When I played this in 09, it was great. When I played Infinite with no improvement in combat mechanics or feel 4 years later, it was underwhelming. That game succeeds primarily by virtue of its atmosphere. But, for its time, Bioshock was an excellent shooter. I still need to play 2.
***** It's not a bandwagon. The story in Infinite was rubbish and Levine admitted he knows nothing about quantum theory and all that stuff and simply put it in because it made him feel smart.
I think the main complaint about the respawn chambers in comparison to SS2's is that there was a cost to them in the form of nanites where I believe there is no cost in this game.
Hey Gggmanlives, just so you know, there's a new Early Access game on Steam called Ziggurat that's essentially a modern take on Heretic/Hexen with a few roguelike elements thrown in for good measure. You should check it out when you have the time.
I remember playing this game and being blown away my first time around. Replayed it a few years back and really enjoyed it. It's a shame Ken tried too hard when making BSI; of all the games I was looking forward to in 2013, it was definitely my most hyped game of that year, and I was pretty disappointed when it turned out to be rubbish. Ever consider reviewing Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2? They're a gamecube games, but Dolphin (gamecube\wii emulator) has pretty much got it down, aside from a few problems. The Metroid Prime Trilogy version of the games have some more lag issues, but it fixes some issues with the original game, and you can use the mouse to look around.
Remaster? Hey man just play it on a pc and you'll see exactly what bioshock really looks in all its charm. (please don't call me a pc fan boy) If not you should wish atleast that it's remade with a better engine (like metro redux)
Bhaiyaji Gaming Actually its also coming to pc and while I still think numerous aspects of bioshock still hold up I think it would be even better with improved graphics and gameplay refinements
+Whiffly001 I don't think it was underrated. Game play wise it was better than 1, but the story was kind of lacking. It also destroyed a lot of the mystery of Bioshock.
I prefer system shock 2 over bioshock here's why: - System Shock is hard and makes you think about choices, challenging resource management, scarce health ammo etc. - Never felt challenged in bioshock, no puzzles, plentiful ammo I ended up fighting all big daddies because I was bored - The whole game is pretty much a crazy amusement park but it was a bit sensory overload for me all the crazy splicers, vending machines, little girls, robots just like many modern games it lacked subtlety and became too cartoonish - The story could actually work well as a fun movie
How could nobody see this midgame twist coming? Being the "spiritual successor" to System Shock 2, it should have been no shock that Bioshock's twist was very similar to SS2's. Almost a carbon copy twist in fact, just a different character and story.
This game came out back when I was a stupid young teen who was very biased towards consoles. I was a fanboy, I went into Bioshock when it was ported over to the PS3 expected it to suck because I was, again, a fanboy. I couldn't even pretend this game was bad. This is a masterpiece.
The story and the atmosphere overall are absolutely LEGENDARY... The real problem about ALL the Bioshock serie is the fact that once you pass a certain point they all crank up the difficulty by making the enemies bullshit bullet sponges. Moreover (especially in the first one), most of the plasmids just felt completely useless or redundant.
I agree, Bioshock 1 trumps over 2 in a lot of ways: it's story, gameplay, characters, environments, scripted events, music choice (I love the 40's-50's era of music), weapons, and overall presentation. Bioshock 2 was great... but I beat it in one day... and I don't even recall it very well... something with large, muscled-up gorillas and a golf club joke? I... really couldn't tell you... and the multiplayer... fuck that to high hell... and then some... I never played Infinite, mainly from my experience with 2, but, Bioshock will always be one of my favorites games to have ever graced the planet, and I can still boot it up and smile and know every line of dialogue, every jump-scare, and every plasmid/tonic. I still get a smirk every time I think of when I'd use telekinesis on a bunch of cigarettes and kill the character off by chain-smoking a hundred packs at once, scream "FUCK YOURSELF WITH BEES AND FIRE!", or when I'd guzzle down a thousand snack cakes out of a dead, burn-out's body with glee... Bioshock... no other game can really top that special kind of place in my heart, even if it's a linear and short game... Now... would you kindly go and download the game?
Gggman what do you think of Bioshock 2? I played it after getting it at discount having never played bioshock 1. I just couldn't get into it, just didn't feel good as a shooter. After watching your review I'm interested in giving the original a go but would like to know how you think the two compare.
Thanks mate, I think i'm gonna get the original, regardless of how I felt with number 2. Certain things like no reg health and limited ammo picks ups frustrated me back then, but I have gone back and am playing some classic FPS and love the challenge. Also looking forward to the new Doom when at first I wasn't due to the above. Love your reviews, keep up the good work.
I got this game from a bundle a month ago and I'm enjoying it, but I have a problem. One day when I tried to play the game, the menu buttons didn't make any sound when I clicked them and there was no sound in-game. Any ideas to fix this?
I think this game could benefit to a conversion into the next Unreal Engine that will come after the current one (UE4) in some years because it's a big mess on PC. Between the sounds that don't work 2/3 of the time, the mouse move awfully, etc... Adding new effects/tech could make the game perfect tho (PBR material, new lighting, physics, water shaders, etc...) To this day I don't find any places as unique as Rapture. LOVED the story in this one and loved playing as a big daddy in the 2nd.
only real gripe I have with the Bioshock series is the real lack of choice and consequence besides the little sisters :( Infinite really showed that we were all along for a ride regardless of the 'choices' we made in some parts.
I honestly was very invested in this game, and loved everything about it...I never played System Shock 2 so I don't have a reference for your complaint saying that this is a dumbed down version...but I think that's not fair using comparison to a completely different game that just shares similar features in gameplay style...most developers like to expand on their own signature style into all their games, sequel or not....but anyway all I want to say is...I loved this game...for me it gets full marks
If i remember correctly new game plus for bioshock 1 was exclusive to the PS3 version until the recent remaster, now its available on pc and both the consoles. Not sure about bioshock 2 since ive havent played it in a very long time but i think it does have new game plus.
I must say, I love this game for atmosphere and story, but some of the gameplay elements... ugh. I don't see the point in praising what has already been praised to death - what Bioshock does well, it really does exceptionally well - atmosphere, game's world, plot - all of this is bloody awesome. But there are some things that stain this great picture. First of all - gunplay - I found it... jerky. The combat itself is mechanically fine and refined well enough - combos of weapons and plasmids, different ammo types and so on. However, the use of the weapons feels really off to me for some reason. It is something with a feedback - recoil feels jerky and unnatural, it feels... mechanical. It almost feels unfinished in some aspects. It may sounds like a minor complaint, but in a game where you ARE going to shoot a lot, it builds up. Some people might say that this game is not really about a combat, but I call bullshit on that - because combat is exactly what you are doing for the majority of time. There is no excuse, it should be spot on, but it isn't, to the point it is immersion-breaking at times. The whole hacking system - the minigame itself is fine for first couple of times, but takes simply too long, given how often do you have to perform it. It is the funny thing, because Bioshock 2 did those two elements far better, while being far inferior in terms of plot. While it does balance out a bit, I'd say Bioshock 1 is still a superior game by far, if for the story alone. Also - there is the camera mechanic - I do not like it. For the game really based on immersion, it feels a bit too gamey for my taste. Still, an in all Bioshock is absolutely amazing. Although I don't consider it to be this flawless gem that you can't criticise. It has flaws, some of them serious, but they still do not overshadow the overall experience.
Excellent points, one thing that really bothered me were the limitations on how much ammo or money you could carry at a given time. Sure, let me pull out this grenade launcher and reload it with the 6 mines max I'm allowed to carry, after switching from a pistol to a sub-machine gun to a shotgun to a literal crossbow.
Well to be fair about the plot twist, even though I already knew when it was revealed I still felt manipulated and a little helpless in my current predicament. That is how good it was.
i dont think the simplification of bioshock has anything to do with consoles I think its just trying to reach a wider audience to sell more copys look at the souls series its mosty a console series with the first being ps3,the 2nd being ported to pc and bloodborne being only on ps4 u don't need to blame consoles blame publishers or developers
BioShock My Fave (or second fave) game ever played this first when i was like 4 or something, Ryans opening Monologue is drilled into my brain (i mean its already amazing and it alone is more momorable then certain games)
also dont comment about the fact i played BioShock when i was around 4 - 6, i also played Re4 around that age and a shit tonne of other games i should not have played my brother (who had all the games) was ok with me playing duke 3d (uncensored btw) but not Hotline Miami (is that how u spell it?) half-life 2 was the first game i can remember pronouncing the title right
I have approached this game several times since beating it, but knowing that I would be committing to several cumulative hours of hacking vending machines puts me on hold.
Vita chambers have no loss in resources and no need to activate them. Disabling them on consoles forces players to wait upwards of 50 seconds on PS3 to load. Would have been better to copy SS2 wholesale.
I Like the Hacking Machines Minigame and I absolutely don't mind the absence of inventory, I think it makes switching between items and firing modes easier, bunch of System shock irritating nitpicks I'm glad Bioshock got rid of.
Weird, for me its running fine on Win7. I remember having some crashing problem.... I know there was a definitive fix but I cant quite put my finger on it. Was the crashing related to savegames/loadings?
I feel that gameplay wise Bioshock 2 was the best one in that respect, it ironed out a lot of the issues, hacking is quicker but but also easier to fuck up, the weapons are better, the melee combat isn't atrocious and I found the level design just a bit better, plus big daddy fights feel like duels to the death rather than a desperate chaotic mess and the research is improved out the arse. though the story can go fuck itself with Bouncer drill, Bioshock 1 definitely has the best story out of all three
Now I remembered why Bioshock Infinity felt so mediocre compared to previous Bioshock games. It had so many nice things removed like hacking and camera. I'm not sure if Gggmanlives is going to review Bioshock Infinity but now that he has the first game in the series well memorized it would be nice to see him review that one also :)
I'm amazed that hardly anyone else commented on this. It was unreal engine 3, DX10 support gives it away. It was originally going to be a heavily modified UE 2.5, but they shifted to UE 3
With STALKER I consider this as best game of the last 10 years, due to the atmosphere and the fantastic underwater city in the 1920's style. The fps and shooting isn't as good. I regularly ran out of ammo due to the tough opposition. I resorted to using the wrench which can be upgraded as well. All in all an absolute recommendation but I suppose by now that everyone has already played it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found Bioshock's moral choices bothersome, they could've closed the gap between the choices and made them more morally ambiguous.
I always hypnotize one Big Daddy then go pick a fight with another one. It's really fun watching 2 Big Daddy killing each other. On other note, Insect Swarm is very effective plasmid. It can stun, damages multi splicers and turn their corpses in booby trap for more swarms.
I really enjoyed the first game. Its universe, atmosphere and visuals....but the main plot itself.... When you figure out the coming "twists" (yes, I did figure it out ; most probably because I already saw similar stories in other medias) in the two first hours of the game, having them being focused on for god knows how long many minutes as if it was something "incredible" was quite annoying. Then if the game indeed had a dark universe, it completely failed at the horror part, for me. I could sense the moments that were supposed to spook me but I couldn't care less. As for the second game, it was even more predictable and felt more like an extension rather than a sequel. Still, I really enjoyed the two games. Now I have to try Infinite. PS : I love the humming (or whatever) of the Big Daddys.
Still the best Bioshock game. I personally was bored to death with 2 and Infinite. I just didn't care for it. Too much like CoD for my tastes with the regenerating shield and ADS system. Not to mention that I saw the twist at the ending coming a good two hours before it was revealed.
+SnowHawk7 I think 2 was perfectly fine, myself. Even if it didn't have the same wow factor as 1. But Infinite is definitely overrated. Story was full on wank,, and the gameplay was too CoD-like, as you said.
I have literally never played or even seen many people play any of the bioshock games, all i know is "blah blah Bioshock is one of the greatest games of the past decade blah blah blah." Just never really had time to be interested in it. With Prey coming out (and looking like a very appealing drain for my wallet lol) I think it's about time I finally got around to this game (which looks fucking amazing.)
Ok now, complaints about vita-chambers may be redundant today when you can change it in the options. However, you couldn't do it before. It was even a big deal with Bioshock Ps3 version with a special "no vita-chambers" survival dificulty. The fact that the added no vita option later is the best proof of all those compaints being not redundant, because they had an influence on the developers. So..yeah
"Would you kindly go and check this game out" I see what you did there
+Grant Pate (Dr cereal) i sudently want to play the game again (?
OH YES, now this is what you call a GREAT game! This will always be a classic for me.
+Black Samurai 76 According to various websites it along with the rest of the bioshock series is going to get a remaster for current gen systems I really hope they do the game justice
+Rock Steel Same here!
+Black Samurai 76 Aaaand the collection for PS4/Xbone/PC is confirmed.
Fuck yeah!
VALKYRIEZ Aaaand the remaster turned out to be underwhelming :)
One of the best games ever made. The story and characters are all great, while the combat is consistent and tactical, while not being too slow.
My all time favorite First Person Shooter. Unique weapons, fun combat and one of the most amazing settings ever in a video game.
Bioshock 2 is my absolute favorite out of the three. I finally got around to starting Minerva's Den, 2 years after initially completing the trilogy. And oh boy, it feels good to roam around again in this setting.
Maybe Part 2 didn't have THE plot twist like part 1 but to me it improved upon every aspect of the already truly amazing predecessor.
thank you thats how i feel too
2 isn’t as memorable.
I used to think 2 was ehh when i got it day 1 but over time id have to agree, i think it has better gameplay than BS1 and the story was so fantastic

+Gggmanlives have you done a review for bioshock 2?
Tristan Jones
Not yet, working on it though.
Gggmanlives awesome!! been binge watching your staff for three day's now man and i love your work. looking ford to hearing your opinion on bioshock 2. keep it up.
Almost ten years old and it still looks and plays beautifully. A true classic.
I think this game deserves an updated review

Bimawan Satrianto Eh, I can see that being debatable, I guess. Actually, no, thinking back, I agree on level design.
Your hair looks funny.
Madalin Grama Jesus dude. It's an opinion, fucking get over it. Some prefer the sequel, deal with it.

Who else would think that a new Bioshock game on the moon in the 1970's/1980's would be cool?
That would be great...
If anyone is still up for making a Bioshock game one day... The series has gone dead silent recently :(
*Me, 1 year from the future*
"Have you heard of this new game called Prey?"
@@simonaspalovis1204 oh yes
Bioshock 2 review please.

But, for its time, Bioshock was an excellent shooter. I still need to play 2.
Love this classic game. There were alot of games that came out in 2007 that has changed and influence gaming but Bioshock is in it's own class.
You're the first person I've heard call Ken Levine a hack.
Bioshock Infinite's backlash was pretty bad, I'm assuming he's riding that bandwagon.
***** I mean, I don't care much for Infinite myself aside from the concept. And I didn't realise the backlash was that big.
AzureSymbiote It was a pretty large backlash.
***** Interesting.
***** It's not a bandwagon. The story in Infinite was rubbish and Levine admitted he knows nothing about quantum theory and all that stuff and simply put it in because it made him feel smart.

Curt Randall Because most who played Bioshock never played System Shock 2, including myself.
The Remake came out may last year you gonna check it out?
One of the best single player games i have ever played, part 2 with the dlc story is amazing too. Better gameplay as well
wasnt it the unreal 3 engine?

You do good reviews. Why not do more current games?
Kit Emett I do.
between bioshock 1 and 2 i chose 1. I played it for a bit on pc on ultra in 2010 and i can honestly say this game is art. I might buy bio2 later on.
Any thoughts on the recent system shock 3 anouncement? will we ever get a bioshock 2 review?
+Immortan Joe I can't comment on SS3 because we literally know nothing about it. Bioshock 2 review is soon.
+Gggmanlives How about the remake of this game.
+Nighthawk Hawk and also system shock 1
Gggman what do you think of Bioshock 2? I played it after getting it at discount having never played bioshock 1. I just couldn't get into it, just didn't feel good as a shooter. After watching your review I'm interested in giving the original a go but would like to know how you think the two compare.
+Larry I really liked it, even more than the first in some ways.
+Gggmanlives I thought that 2 is the best in the series but found infinite to be the worst
SHAWKLAN 27
That's a fairly common belief. Bioshock 2 is much better gameplay wise than Bioshock 1 I think.
Adding new effects/tech could make the game perfect tho (PBR material, new lighting, physics, water shaders, etc...)
To this day I don't find any places as unique as Rapture. LOVED the story in this one and loved playing as a big daddy in the 2nd.
Still preferred 2 over 1
only real gripe I have with the Bioshock series is the real lack of choice and consequence besides the little sisters :(
Infinite really showed that we were all along for a ride regardless of the 'choices' we made in some parts.
Do a review of the original System Shock too, that game is a masterpiece as well.
I honestly was very invested in this game, and loved everything about it...I never played System Shock 2 so I don't have a reference for your complaint saying that this is a dumbed down version...but I think that's not fair using comparison to a completely different game that just shares similar features in gameplay style...most developers like to expand on their own signature style into all their games, sequel or not....but anyway all I want to say is...I loved this game...for me it gets full marks
guys i always wondered , does this game and its sequel Bioshock 2 have new game + ? I've beat them already and can't find the option to do that.
If i remember correctly new game plus for bioshock 1 was exclusive to the PS3 version until the recent remaster, now its available on pc and both the consoles. Not sure about bioshock 2 since ive havent played it in a very long time but i think it does have new game plus.
oh so the remastered versions have it , oh shame my pc isn't 64 bit then, thanks for the info.
Review the remaster?
I found that if you use telekinesis to hurl random objects at splicers in the harder areas it does more damage than your weapons
Ken Levine is a hack?!? I feel attacked.
Yeah the twist blew my mind. I had to replay the game right after completing to reexperience the story with the knowledge I had
Awesome game, great mechanics, great levels, great set pieces and wow what a story with a super twist to finish. Keep up the awesome content
Well to be fair about the plot twist, even though I already knew when it was revealed I still felt manipulated and a little helpless in my current predicament. That is how good it was.
Because of the art style, this game will always feel next gen. It's still gorgeous.
what should i call my new dog
"would you kindly go and check this game out" haha
The voice of the vending machine is Ken Levine!
Did you ever play the challenge room DLC?
Great review. btw. Will you review original Bioshock Infinite at all?
i dont think the simplification of bioshock has anything to do with consoles I think its just trying to reach a wider audience to sell more copys look at the souls series its mosty a console series with the first being ps3,the 2nd being ported to pc and bloodborne being only on ps4 u don't need to blame consoles blame publishers or developers
Unreal Engine 3. Not trying to be a stickler, but pretty substantial difference.
A simple suggestion pal.... If you review a game which is a franchise, please review all of them.
BioShock My Fave (or second fave) game ever played this first when i was like 4 or something, Ryans opening Monologue is drilled into my brain (i mean its already amazing and it alone is more momorable then certain games)
also dont comment about the fact i played BioShock when i was around 4 - 6, i also played Re4 around that age and a shit tonne of other games i should not have played
my brother (who had all the games) was ok with me playing duke 3d (uncensored btw) but not Hotline Miami (is that how u spell it?) half-life 2 was the first game i can remember pronouncing the title right
Isn't the game running on the Unreal 3 engine, instead of the 2?
That's what I thought too as soon as he mentioned it
VietnamG It actually is UE2. It's an enhanced version of the engine used in SWAT 4.
No mention of the difficulty of running this on a modern system?
+Chrysaliarus I had no difficulty running it at all. Did you patch to latest version?
+Gggmanlives Yeah I did patch it. I still suffered countless crashes, sound problems, and other issues.
I had sound problems but only when i used headphones.
Weird, for me its running fine on Win7.
I remember having some crashing problem.... I know there was a definitive fix but I cant quite put my finger on it. Was the crashing related to savegames/loadings?
dosduros just starting it up and once it reaches rapture it crashes.
I feel that gameplay wise Bioshock 2 was the best one in that respect, it ironed out a lot of the issues, hacking is quicker but but also easier to fuck up, the weapons are better, the melee combat isn't atrocious and I found the level design just a bit better, plus big daddy fights feel like duels to the death rather than a desperate chaotic mess and the research is improved out the arse. though the story can go fuck itself with Bouncer drill, Bioshock 1 definitely has the best story out of all three
Bioshock is legendary. 10/10
Yes I want to see if this game is good thank you so much that you have a review now
i am currently playing Bioshock:)
Ken levin is not a hack, I still think he is quite good
Are there any downloadable mods for this and where?
Did I hear unreal 2?
I'm amazed that hardly anyone else commented on this. It was unreal engine 3, DX10 support gives it away.
It was originally going to be a heavily modified UE 2.5, but they shifted to UE 3
I remember just using the enrage plasmid all the way through. I really do hate the vita chambers because it felt like I was cheating. I disabled it.
This series suffer a lucky first shot syndrome. Being the first game fits the perfections that no other sequel can top it.
Just started replaying this game. It's still fucking good.
Anybody knows the name of the character in bikini on first second of the intro?
*2K announces BioShock Remaster* TAKE IT ALL, TAKE EVERYTHING I HAVE!!!
Does anyone else have terrible mouse acceleration issues?
(Would you kindly check this game out)"...ok...i must play the game now" LOL
Still the best Bioshock game. I personally was bored to death with 2 and Infinite. I just didn't care for it. Too much like CoD for my tastes with the regenerating shield and ADS system. Not to mention that I saw the twist at the ending coming a good two hours before it was revealed.
+SnowHawk7 I think 2 was perfectly fine, myself. Even if it didn't have the same wow factor as 1. But Infinite is definitely overrated. Story was full on wank,, and the gameplay was too CoD-like, as you said.
Why are you ignoring "system shock 1".
Nerco Panda I'm not. But System Shock 2 got A LOT of requests from my viewers so I wanted to get it done first.
Thank you for the clarification.
So..yeah
