Maybe try getting Taz a blanket and put it with her when she sleeps. It can then go whoever she goes, and be a familiar comfort. My dog has his own blanket, and loves sleeping on it.

Tazz could be missing Blue too. When we lost our Pearl our little guy was grieving too, Pearl was bigger older and his alpha and he felt less secure, it just took time for all of us.

As someone who’s worked with dogs I am loving how you’re not changing your life for tazz. Instead you’re exposing her and helping her growth mentally and learn to pass her fears.
i can't wait to see Taz become more confident and secure in herself and new situations. A lot of adopted dogs are just like her at first and then blossom into their full potential.
You can tell Tazz has had a tumultuous past, probably filled with neglect and abuse. How lucky she is to have you in her life now. Blue is proud of you, Maria.
Yes we noticed the same thing. She will come out of it Quickly with being with Maria now. She will blossom into an awesome dog. She is also probably confused about Blue not being there. Between Maria, and Blue guiding her from above, she'll do just fine. 🐶🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲 🎼

Taz is , from what I can see polar opposite. But she is such a blessing in her own right. It was just so heart warming & wonderful to see her with you kinda carrying on Blues legacy. I know she can never replace him. But it’s as if she is picking up the torch so to speak & carrying on what you & Blue started together.
I am just so happy that you are persevering & growing through the struggle of losing Blue.

9:28 A little tip I just learned last year. Those shells seem stale but youre supposed to microwave them for 15-30 seconds or so before you fill them(i dont remember the exact timing). The oil in them cooks them and they become crisp and amazing.
Yassss I usually put them in a toaster or oven or airfryer for like 2-3 minutes until they’re shiny ✨

So happy you have that little girl to fall back on. Females are a LOT different than males in my opinion with herding dogs. Unique in there own way, but I have a feeling you will add a male in the future. I know all about losing the "one" it's true. You will never have another Blue. Just try not to compare any of them to him. They will all fall short and it's not good for you or future doggies. Just an old man's thoughts. I have had mainly heelers but a couple of Aussies and a few mixes called Texas heelers. Outstanding dogs. Love you girl and we won't ever forget Blue.❤❤❤

Thing about taco shells is they need to be heated otherwise they will be stale. RIP BLUE we all miss you
I found that if you rinse the taco shells with a little bit of water and then put them on a plate with a paper towel and put in the microwave it softens them up a little bit ❤

The ones that come after are precious blessings and never take the place of the one who moved on, but they sure do fill a gaping hole that we didn’t even know we had.🙏

Hey, Maria, great rig! Ik you're probably tired of hearing it, but I just want to let you know that I'm really sorry about Blue's passing. My heart goes out to you and little Tazzy. I lost my little Bubba a year ago now and still tear-up at the little things and miss him everyday. Sort of like you, I ended up with a new addition to the family about half a year before Buddy passed. A family friend gave me a pomeranian about 8 months old. I was really happy when you got little Tazz. She is super sweet. You gals take care, and safe travels.
She might need a weighted vest to help her out. Very comforting for a nervous baby.❤❤❤
Taz needs a permanent blanket that she sleeps on to go with her everywhere. The feel of different materials will shut her down. Its ok that she has a security blanket Xxoo

Glad you’re back filming, grief is hard and it takes time…I am almost five months in and still have waves of extreme sadness. It was just me and my boy for 15 years. Life is hard without them…I am retired so travelling now to cope. Sending you a big hug…love watching you ❤❤

I'd be super uncomfy too with so much expensive stuff around me 🙈 I noticed how she chilled out when you were in the cozy enclosed bed. Maybe one of those fabric crates could help her by having her own cozy room wherever you go. Also cbd helps my anxious pup take the edge off a lot 💛

I have never knew that so many people did not know you are supposed to heat them up in the OVEN ( not microwave ) before you eat them, makes a world of difference too 😂 👌

So chef... when cooking tacos, if you heat the shell on a low temp so they don't burn, that makes it fresh again and crisp. Happy cooking. Keep on exploring!❤

I’ve rescued and fostered dogs like Taz. They need lots of love and patience. Sometimes they get better and sometimes they don’t. She’s very lucky she has you as her mommy. She couldn’t have found a better home.

I'm so glad you're getting out and mixing it up, even in a fancy schmancy rig. When my pupper passed away, everything reminded me of him. So I moved my furniture around and mixed my routine up. Just reliving my youth through your adventures. God understands both you and Taz are hurting. She may have been yanked up from her family too soon or suffered some kind of trauma before you met. Over my lifetime, I've had many, many dogs, typically packs of 5 - 7. I loved them all but there are favorites, and then there are also once-in-a-lifetime dogs. At 69, I'm pretty accepting now of the Circle of Life. But after my last OIAL dog died, I was so angry. All my other dogs were just wrong. I wanted my Cuba. It took a long time to come to terms with the loss and show my other animals the love they deserved. What I'm trying to say is Be Patient With Yourself. Big hug 💖
It's been 2 years since I lost my fur baby 🐾 and I agree we have our favorite. Karma Lou was mine. I still can't bring myself to get another!🐾

Hi Maria, there are lots of opinions out there. I just want to tell you I have 2 dogs that came home as 12 week old pups, from the same breeder, grew up in the same environment, and one is Mr. Social butterfly, happy go lucky, the other is anxious and nervous about most things. Those are just their temperaments/personalities. They grew up the same way, in the same home. So I just watch and give each what they need in a given moment. You know what to do best with your dog. Too many opinions out there. We love to watch your adventures and seeing what you’re up to !! Take care ❤️
