    I love that you do everything in the pan, not wasting a bunch of little bowls and dishes like a lot of other cooling channels. Sure it's cute to have a bunch of little bowls for seasoning but it's impractical lol

      Seconded. I do the cooking in our house and my wife does the dishes. I try and keep the dishes I use to a minimum because it makes her life easier.

      @smileyone1612 I can't tell the difference in the final outcome whether I heat the oil first or not, so I prefer to just add zucchini to the cold pan to avoid hot oil splatters

    Wow! Absolutely delicious! Never was a fan of zucchini but now no more potatoes, zucchini it is. This recipe is great also because it's a one pan, no bowls delight.

      You can do it if you prefer, but I just add mine to the cold pan as it works just fine and avoids the oil splatters.

    The grease needs to be hot first. Otherwise the zucchinis is just gonna soak it all in while I was waiting to get hot.

      If you heat the oil first then add zucchini, it makes the oil splatter. I'm lazy and try to avoid splattering oil :) It turns out just fine when zucchini is added together with oil in the beginning.

      You can cook the onions at the same time as zucchini and use butter if you'd like :) Rotel is a great idea!

      Putting them in a cold pan works just fine, no need to deal with oil splatters that happen when you add food to hot pan :)

    Looks good, but not a fan of adding 240 calories to a vegetable. Olive oil is better for you definitely, but not calorie conscious.

      @@MelanieCooksRecipes I use Celtic Salt. It has 82 minerals in it. That one is really good for us and it tastes so good. Barbara O'Neil recommends it.
