Had to post something to counter these negative remarks. I haven't stopped listening to this song since seeing the post on the band's Facebook page. It's a different, slower pace to most of their other songs, but this serves to make it a more distinctive track. You could say that EQ have streamlined their technique a bit with this song, yet still retaining their bombast and power. Epic chorus, extremely catchy and it's been rolling round my head for the last couple of days. Heavy as fuck too. Great production. The new album is going to be another outstanding contribution to the canon of Epic Metal I am sure of this. Never doubted it. Shame about the lineup changes though but EQ will live on for sure!

Last night I had a dream. It was some sort of action movie scene, really intense. I don´t know why this was the soundtrack to that scene....., I might have been listening to too much heavy metal lately but anyway.... BEST DREAM EVER

believe it or not this is the most decent song from the album , just got the album and its ok . old songs are 10000 better , and after 3 days , and over 100 replay to this song , they did a good job :) hope for better songs in the future

Das macht mir nach Rekreatur und dem komischen Himmelsrand-Cover wieder Hoffnung auf Qualtität.
Waldschrein ist völlig an mir vorbeigegangen. Ich hab nur mitbekommen, dass auf der EP noch "Zwergenhammer" und eine neue Version von "Der Sturm" drauf sein soll neben "Himmelsrand" und es kam mir etwas Mager vor, weswegen ich die Sache nicht genauer angeschaut habe.

Derpy Viking Yep. But IMO its the very best piece of music I've ever heard, and I'm anxious for a likewise piece. But in rekreatur they got Kurzes Epos, which was comparable, but not as good as Mana was.
Erdentempel turned out more epic than I could have ever imagined. Just how they included a bonus of all the songs as just instrumentals. I use them for my D&D sessions.

Hör noch nicht lange Equilibrium und muss auch sagen das die älteren Alben nix für mein Gehörgang sind, instrumental erste Sahne aber Stimmlich nicht meine Welt, gut das sie jetzt mit so einem Album um die Ecke geschneit kommen, was bestimmt gekauft wird, denn endlich versteht man den Text....:)
Ich bin seit Release von Rekreatur dabei und muss sagen, dass Turis Fratyr echt gut ist, aber Sagas finde ich auch recht schwach. Rekreatur hat mich echt gepackt und ich denke das wird bei Erdentempel nicht anderst sein! :D

LightLikeLight 'Sagas' recht schwach?! Dieses Album gilt gemeinhin als eines der besten Pagan Metal Werke überhaupt!
Hättet ihr Helge noch miterlebt, würdet ihr anderst denken ;) Seine Screams sind es die mich 2006 auf die Band aufmerksam gemacht haben. Robse isn super netter typ aber zu Pagan und vor allem zu Equi passt eine Stimme wie Helges zigmal besser. Robse ist von der stimmlage eigentlich eher ein death metal Sänger. Ist mir auch klar, das euch ungeübten Ohren diese basslastigen bearbeiteten Vocals besser gefallen. Ps Helge kann man prima verstehen.
Sollte nicht auch noch ein Musikvideo kommen oder wie schaut es aus, da es ja leider Probleme mit der Band-Besetzung gab. :o

Gott woher kenn ich die Refrain-Melodie? So eingängig und sicher schon 1000 mal gehört, aber ich komm nicht drauf...
Vielleicht denkst du an "Dovakhiin, Dovakhiin..."?
***** Das weiß ich ja selber ^^ Aber man kann sich ein kleines bisschen an diesen "Dovakhiín, Dovakhiin, naal ok zin los vahriin"-Part aus dem Skyrim-Theme erinnert fühlen, daher dachte ich, dass Michael vielleicht das meinte.

Not exactly like equilibrium, but there's a another german band that makes vast black/folk metal songs. Finsterforst. Try the album 'Rastlos'.
kann es sein das die vocals dieses mal etwas bearbeitet wurden? robse klingt viel gutturaler als noch auf rekreatur =o
Also ich höre da mindestens zwei überdeckende Gesangslinien raus, eine geht mehr in Richtung Growl, die andere in Richtung Scream. Denke das zusammen hört sich dann etwas anders an. Keine Ahnung ob das zweimal Robse ist oder noch jemand anderes.
gazo1 zum einen singt rene jetzt auch mit , auch enn ich glaube das er eher clean vokals macht und zum anderen würde ich mich nich wundern wenn das nich mindestens gedooublet wurde, zumindest die growl spur... ist ja heudzutage auch kein geheimnis mehr das die vokalspuren ineinder gemischt werden + hall soll sich ja möglichst mächtig anhören. ich wünsch mir trotzdem wierder mindesten ein lied mit diesem "todesgrowl" wie damlas in "verbrante erde"
