- Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PMCC) can be easily evaluated on a Casio fx991-EX ClassWiz calculator as this video demonstrates. The coefficient is given by the letter r and represents the strength of correlation of a set of observations on a scatter diagram to a straight line. The line of best fit is also displayed in this video of called the regression line for y on x.

Thank You Sir! You won't be forgotten in tonight's prayers! :)

This is perfect and understandable
what does the A and B stand for?
Thank you James Corden
hello sir, i wanted to ask is this possible on CASIO fx-991ES PLUS calculator?
Yes, look at page 24 on the manual support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/004/fx-570_991ES_PLUS_EN.pdf#page=24
thank you very much
Thanks for watching and best wishes.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
How did you get the online version of the calc?
Casio - Google them and look for the emulator software
Thanks
My teacher said you no longer need to be able to calculate PMCC for AQA but on your website it says you do. So do you?
That may be the case but the specification does not make it clear that it is off so I am taking no chances at this stage only that the calculation of a regression line is off
Quote "Interpret scatter diagrams and regression lines for bivariate data, including
recognition of scatter diagrams which include distinct sections of the population
(calculations involving regression lines are excluded).
"
How about Casio fx-991ES plus
