Hi ! Can it be calculated Normal distribution using z value, by CASIO fx-991CW ? As per your illustration, if we put x, mu & sigma value, its not providing same result whereas other calculators do. (as we know z=(x - mu) / sigma) Please support.
Here's how to calculate a Z-Value using the calculator: Home > Distribution > Inverse Normal Area: 𝛼 (one sided) or 𝛼/2 and 1-a/2 (two sided) 𝛍: 0 σ: 1 (for normal distribution) Select OK on Execute; this will output the z-value you would normally look up in a table. If you put the same values into the Normal PD function, that's giving you the probability density on the y-axis, not the Z-value. Hopefully that's what you are looking for.
