- Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PMCC) can be easily evaluated on many scientific calculators but in this video I show you the formula in case this function is not available. The coefficient is given by the letter r and represents the strength of fit of a set of observations on a scatter diagram to a straight line.

THE BEST THANK YOU: www.examsolutions.net/donation/
honestly, I have tried private tutors, school tuitions, extra classes and none of that helped until when I watched this video. You are absolutely amazing and my entire batch is very grateful for you. The world needs more people like you! Please keep doing what you do.
Thank you
I can't love you less. U saved my career. I'm very grateful 🥰
@@ObeyGoodness_20 Just fyi, "I can't love you LESS" means that you love them so little that it's impossible to love them any less than you already do. I think you meant, "I can't love you MORE"...? :-)
This is not generally requested and so it has been left out so far in my videos but I understand your point. A video on this will take me as always approx 3-4 hours to develop, produce and upload. If you wish to make a donation of £30 at least then I am happy to do this for you. Sorry to make a charge but I hope you understand.
Crazy how 6 years after this was uploaded it still helps out people! Thank you so much!
Thanks and thanks for watching.
Also 10 years later😅

Thank you!! Thanks to you, I now understand this!!
I actually have to use Pearson's product moment correlation for my thesis, so this has provided some pretty useful information. Thank you so much for putting this up!
yeah me too :D
If this is chess international master King Crusher I would like you to know that I really enjoyed watching your chess videos and the way you explained the ideas of the of moves in the chess games you have covered in your chess videos .I hope this comment will inspire you to make new chess videos again :)
mate thank you so much ur an actual legend
Very clear and concise explanation 👏👏
Thank you! Since this is a sample correlation, shouldn't we divide by n -1 and not N (which would be for population)?
Thank you for the video that was crystal clear...
I can never thank you enough! But still thanks for posting this!♥️

You sir are awesome thank you!

Yes it is
Sorry but I don't have a video on this. I must say I have never heard of the coefficient of determination r^2. Perhaps someone else reading this may have an idea?
Great stuff
:-)
Thankyou, you have helped so much!

The increase in the observed grades in math are related in the increase of the observed grades of physics? (which would make total sense) .95
But thank this really helped me 👍
I'm doing this for Psychology 2nd year of my degree, I haven't done maths at A level but thank you this was understandable even though I had to stop and pause soo many times because I'm not great at math

@starksenterprises Cheers m8
Is the PMCC the same as Correlation Coefficient or are they different?
They are the same thing
Name your date and time!
im still confused why we use that equation. what is the equation actually doing and why does it work
On a calculator:
MODE - STAT - A+BX
ENTER VALUES
AC-SHIFT - REG - R
sorted ;)
is there a video on coding?
