We brazilians all love Azul Airlines, even though it's a very young company. They have an incredible service plus the best domestic network in the country. I would strongly recommend Azul to anyone who wants to fly to Brazil/inside Brazil. Unfortunately, their main hub is a secondary airport in Sao Paulo (Campinas VCP), not as huge neither modern as São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU). The point is that besides having the best service in the South America - according to several rankings - Azul is the only carrier thats working hard to represent our country on long-haul flights. Have a great time in Brazil, Felix. 🇧🇷❤
I travelled to Brazil several times, flying Azul and Gol more than 10 times. Azul is far better and has lower fares. Just almost everything about their product is superior.
mensageiro do bosque montano ..Thank you dear. That's so useful info.My dream is to visit brazil in near future by this plane only..This airplane is so especialy for me..!!😉😉
Yes because - funnier fact - Neelman happens to hold Brazilian nationality, and at the time he founded Azul only Brazilian nationals could hold majority stakes in airlines in the country
Whenever my wife and I travel to visit her family in Brazil I always insist we fly Azul, they're the best. Great quality seats and tech and the food is better than any other airline.
I just had positive experiences with Azul. Amazing service - I actually made friends with one of the flight attendants! - and the paintjob is amazing. I love the little detail of the Brazilian flag on the winglet.
That's not their usual livery, it's a special one with the Brazilian flag. The writing on the fuselage, "Brasil's [sic] Flag Carrier" is actually a pun, as they don't really hold that title.
Congrats for another great video! I took that same flight almost a year ago (videos of the take off and landing are on my channel as well). P.S.: Big fan of your job :)
AZUL looks good, the food (irrespective of being served on one tray) had a good variety, steak and octopus salad. Yeah, the word entrée it's French obviously and it clearly indicates (enter) the starting course not the main event.
I am from Brazil but living in the states great video, Azul so far is doing a great job, did you fly them inside of Brazil? They got Live TVs plus free snacks ;)
You should try any flight from or to Recife (REC/SBRF) - Brazil. It is the biggest airport on Northeast, with flights to Frankfurt and Munich (Condor), Lisbon (TAP), Madrid (Air Eurpa), Miami, Buenos Aires (LATAM), Bogota (Avianca), Montevideo, Buenos Aires (Gol), Milan (Meridiana), Praia (TACV), Panama City (Copa Airlines), Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Rosario, Cordoba (Azul)
Mano eu vou viajar de azul um dia desses to ansiosa pra entrar nesse aviao e experimentar tudo lá tô orgulhosa das nossas companhias aéreas brasileiras respeitem o Brasil
Just a explanation to foreigners: brazilians have an unique way of eating our meals. We don't separate entrée, salad and main course, is a costume to serve all at once. The only part that escapes is the dessert. Azul has a brazilian soul deep engraved in it. That's why you found strange the way the lunch was served
Your plane is still on the ground and not taken off, but you have been served a welcome drink with some nuts? Very nice business class Azul. I still don't know how people can fly on a plane for several hours; the longest i have ever flown on a plane is 1hr 15mins. Modern technology amazes me.
I'm Brazilian and I love this airline! I already flew in Azul E190, it is great! Thanks for producing this video and provide information of the airline to Brazilian people! :D #FlyAzulToday
Azul is a Low Cost Carrier, patterned after JetBlue in the U.S. Their Business Class meals aren't going to be as elaborate as some other carriers, but neither are their prices :-)
OMG the pre-landing “snack” was just that ... 3 small pieces of cut fruit, a tiny cherry tomato and a quiche. I sure hope it tasted good. 🙄. Thank you for this post Felix. I see Azul parked here in Ft. Lauderdale as I drive past the airport on my way hone from work and always wondered. As a 1M American AAdvantage traveler, I’ll be sticking with American.
Wow! 10 hour plane ride to Brazil? What a bad place to put the USB connections. Anyway. Love that Lisbon take-off skyline. Nice Brazilian airplane. The business class looked cramped but not. Nice IFE. Great meals. Definitely mouthwatering especially the desserts and the quiche :-P :-D. Love those dimming lights. Nice Campinas/Viracopos landing view as well (despite of the weather). Very smooth landing. Nice trip report :-)
First of all, a correction: it's *São PaUlo,* with a "U", two syllables ("pow-lo"), not "PaOlo" (three syllables, "pa-o-lo"). That would be *Italian* and we speak *Portuguese* in Brazil, not Italian (though the São Paulo accent does have a lot of Italian influence due to intense past immigration, but not enough to change the city's name). Now, if you ask any Brazilian, they'll tell you that Azul has the best service among the country's airlines hands down. The only problem is if your destination is São Paulo, because Viracopos Airport is 100 km (60 miles) from the city. Azul has a bus transfer system, but there aren't enough seats for everybody and you run the risk of being stranded in Campinas - a large, nice city as well, but far from São Paulo. On the other hand, São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport is so overcrowded and confusing, with lonnnnng lines for customs and immigration, that one thing may offset the other.

just realized you took that flight in november lol. Anyway u guys feel welcome to come to Brazil.
I travelled to Brazil several times, flying Azul and Gol more than 10 times.
Azul is far better and has lower fares. Just almost everything about their product is superior.
Wondering if I can get low fare flight from Jakarta (Indonesia) to South America with Azul, really difficult to go there from here
I still prefer LATAM to be honest, way better than Azul.
mensageiro do bosque montano ..Thank you dear. That's so useful info.My dream is to visit brazil in near future by this plane only..This airplane is so especialy for me..!!😉😉
Fun fact: Azul is actually founded by the same founder of JetBlue.
Yes because - funnier fact - Neelman happens to hold Brazilian nationality, and at the time he founded Azul only Brazilian nationals could hold majority stakes in airlines in the country
So the founder really likes blue then
And WestJet
Brazillian JetBlue
and Morris air
And breeze airways
Whenever my wife and I travel to visit her family in Brazil I always insist we fly Azul, they're the best. Great quality seats and tech and the food is better than any other airline.
Delta:am i a joke to you

I flew on Azul in January from Campinas to Fort Lauderdale in their economy plus, it was amazing service

Say hi to Felix at 15:07!
Great trip report Felix! Azul has a nice Business class cabin and seats, but the catering service seems kind of Premium Economy class for me
AZUL looks good, the food (irrespective of being served on one tray) had a good variety, steak and octopus salad. Yeah, the word entrée it's French obviously and it clearly indicates (enter) the starting course not the main event.

Ahh so LAN and TAM (Brazil's former flag carrier) joined up to form LATAM, so now AZUL is the new flag carrier of Brazil.
LAN isnt brazilian
