The Cinema Snob is a perfect way to start off the week.
IKR? wish he go back to being up at 10am though
It's my Friday and was thinking what a great way to start the weekend
HELL YEAH (especially after the past few days I've been having). Thanks, Brad. You are AWESOME 😎
Agreed!
Just any videos from him Is a great way to start any day or weekend.
Derek is played by Khary Payton, who's best known as Cyborg from Teen Titans/Teen Titans GO!, Aqualad in Young Justice, and King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead.
I was gonna say, he keeps mentioning Cavill's Superman, but doesn't mention Khary Payton's other roles?
Well now we know how he became a Cyborg lol
He's also Black Samson in Invincible.
Khary is awesome
BOOYA!
Lance Henrikson, Doug Bradley, and Andrew Robinson have all been in a Hellraiser movie and a Pumpkinhead movie. I demand a Pumpkinhead vs. Hellraiser movie!!
Pumpkinraiser?
I really like the idea of Pumpkinhead being from Pinhead's realm.
Perfect opportunity for plenty of "order versus chaos" philosophizing.
Or Hellraiser vs. Wrong Turn, in Doug Bradley's case.
@@TheRealNormanBates better than "Hell-head" :)
I drop whatever I'm doing whenever a snob Hellraiser review pops up
Same here. I love all of the Snob's reviews, but his Hellraiser reviews are especially enjoyable for me.
Including a baby?? Lol
Rhinestone scared the pants off me. This however just makes me long for the days when Lance Hendrickson was in EVERYTHING and never phoned it in, man is a legend.
1:40 Holy shit it's Cyborg, Aqualad, Black Manta, and Black Lightning!😎😆
And Superman
Hell raiser and the cyber chase.
The long term storytelling of Ben Tramer is top notch!
Tip of the hat Snob.
Edit: real snob fans appreciate the reference
The Ben Tramer references never fail to make me smile!
#JusticeforBenTramer
You're telling me goths in 2005 would rather be playing an mmo that's just a bunch of choppy flash clips, and not a full party of dark elves in Everquest?
Goths in 2005? Hadn't Emo came along by then to replace them in the mainstream?
@@Xetelian I thought Emo wasn't mainstream until 2006-2009. also These people also seem a bit too enthusiastic to be Emo.
why did my ass almost expect you to say this is the perfect time to review Hellworld because every other social media site is down rn
I caught this at like 1 in the morning on cable and, in that context (and seeing a baby-faced Henry Cavill appear out of nowhere), I really enjoyed this as super-dumb and entertaining.
The next Hellraiser is straight up The Room.
I always look forward to The Cinema Snob Halloween movies reviews
Bishop, Superman and Ron from Goodnight Sweetheart. What a cast!
I was gonna say Jack Boswell from Bread
Lagertha from Vikings
I love the old classic commercials you play.
The snob is the only good thing about my mondays. Thank you Brad! Love you man.
Good Bad Flicks, also
@@garyhall7867 I like GBF, WMWM, Ralphthemoviemaker, Brandon Tenold and OF COURSE RedLetterMedia. I watch more movie reviews than I do movies... but the Snob was first and will always hold a special place!
I don't care much for movieBob, Cinematic Excrement, or any other cocksock who just can't help but use crappy movie reviews to tell us about their political agenda. Funny enough tho I'm in love with Lindsay Ellis, even though she's an unabashed communist shill...
Oh yeah, been waiting on this one. Thanks. Never knew Superman and King Ezekiel were in this film until I saw it. And I still couldn't believe it.✌
And Lagertha from Vikings
@@charlesthetuna3091 oh shit yeah. Man she's way hotter in Vikings
@@jasonvoorhees310 100%. She's drop dead gorgeous in Vikings
just come across your videos after searching the many Hellraiser spin offs, your delivery is sublime and your year in review 1980-1981 are amazing.Bloody good work fella watching you in England
Scream has so much to answer for.
Thanks for enduring the meta bollocks so we don't have to.
You're doing God's work, Brad. Carman is proud of you.
The guy who gets his neck cut is the voice actor for Cyborg from Teen titans
I'm so glad Kathryn Winnick & Henry Cavill went onto bigger things.
Can you believe Katheryn Winnick is 47?
I KNEW I recognized her from somewhere. THANK YOU!
Your hellraiser videos for some reason are always the most funny to me.
Superman and Lagertha got drunk and stumbled into a movie where the android from Aliens is trying to LARP as Pinhead...
That fucking Taboo NES joke. Got me.
I think this was the first Hellraiser feature i saw. When i saw the cover of the features when i were younger they scared me straight. As far as Hellraiser features goes it doesnt feel like one. I feel they fell to much for the slasher trapings. And the early features as i remember them wernt that much for slasher villain hunting idiots. With that said its never entirely boring with evil Lance Henriksen.
That's because this isn't a hellraiser movie. This is a movie that started completely separate from hellraiser and then they decided to slap pinhead in it for profit
@@TheBonkleFox This and the previous three movies, as Brad states in the video.
Lance is always awesome. Pity he appeared in crap like this. But a paycheck is a paycheck.
@@graemesmith6721 Lance said he liked doing crappy low budget movies because they're more of a challenge. "I do low budget films, I don't do low budget acting"
I had a very shitty and stressful Monday at work. The snob is very therapeutic to wash that feeling away and calm your mind with laughter and and a comfy atmosphere.
It's funny they used those late 90's monitors when this was made in 2004...when flat screen monitors were readily everywhere. Shows you this was a low budget film that did not care. Even the micro budget movies use up to date props.
If they filmed in Romania, I would imagine that the Eastern European countries had not quite caught up to flat screen monitors yet. I doubt they had props and set dressing flown in from the US. They had to use what they could find (I’m guessing.)
I thought my memory was fooling me since I don't remember flat monitors hitting until late 2000s (not 2004). I looked up Butterfly Effect, another 2004 movie, and the same CRT style monitor is used in that too. Seems like this wasn't an indicator of this being a "low budget" movie.
@@rickc4377 you're correct, flat screens wouldn't be a thing until two or three years later
I feel like this one's an ok B slasher if you go into it knowing the Pinhead stuff is hallucinations. Kinda want to see the original movie idea tbh
I love this movie. It has Superman, King Ezekiel, Pinhead, and Lance f*cking Hendrickson....
That was your best exit line ever 😂😂😂 Enjoy your Monday acid.
Your videos are awesome. Keep up the good work.
Finally!!!! I've been waiting for this movie!!
2:20 Holy shit it's Superman!😎😆
So the guy Adam killed hisself over the game so does that mean he couldn’t figure out the very simple box puzzle all them idiots figured out?
😱 the whole movies flawed.
He probably just got banned for Real World Trading.
Pinhead vs Geralt with his alterego Superman and Bishop ?! Crikey! Count me in! But seriously I've forgot that Henry was in this movie...
Your audio is WAY louder than the movie's holy hell
Superman, Cyborg, and Obsidian.
This is a weird-ass DC movie.
Movies with Pinhead wrote into them oddly enough kinda fit Hellraiser lore.
I want to see more Lloyd!!! Right meow!
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer game where 4 people play as a team trying to escape from a killer who is controlled by another player. They are just adding Pinhead as a playable killer.
Can we finally get a Phantasm review or a Pumpkinhead review this October?
Oh hell yeah a new video from the snob!!!
Sign me up
So that's what Khary Payton did before voicing Grimlock in "Transformers: Robots in Disguise" (the 2015 cartoon, not the English dub of the 2001 anime, Transformers: Car Robots).
Now this is the classic Cinema Snob review I look forward too. Nice way to start a week 👍
it’s fukn sad how hard they drove pinhead into the ground.
Would love to see someone cover Romancing the Stone and/or The Jewel of The Nile. Interesting cast, plus The Jewel of The Nile has one of the stranger "holy man" type of person that I have seen. Not really sure at time how he is truly holy, as much as they say he can do. It would be like if you heard about Jesus, then all he did was make balloon animals and walk on water at the same time.
I always found it odd that hardly anybody even mentions those movies these days. Maybe they just have too much of that "chick flick" aura about them that they don't get the same kind of nerd cred most of the other major 1980s blockbusters do.
@@Takeshi357 It was quite the meeting of talent, and the on-screen chemistry of each movie was what made them quite grand. Would like to see Brad put them under the microscope, the good AND the bad.
@@jeremyfjelstad3218 Wasn't it also Danny DeVito's breakout role?
@@Takeshi357 He might of had a few before, but his role in these 2 was quite fun. If it wasn't kickstarted before, it definitely would of with these. Honestly, they are underrated in terms of films. They may seem like love films or other such things on the surface, but it was enjoyable to watch for what it actually was. It actually was making fun of the cliches in romance novels and movies. When things went the opposite way in the film from the norm, it was nicely hilarious.
Stop.
Let sleeping dogs lie. Originality is a true lost art.
Was waiting for this. Only two more movies. You can do it!
GOOD VIDEO, THANKS to Cinema Snob the legend of Ben Tramer will live forever
Ben Tramer's legacy lives on
Gotta do the reboot 😬🤐
Another great review.
This movie would have done so much better if released 10 years prior.
No. It still would've been a standard as hell horror movie that has a anti-game message that would've been so out-dated in the 2010s.
@@brandonspain12345 I'm talking early to mid 00's, like when edgy and mis-informed tech stuff was all the rage. Plus there was still that meta run-off from the Scream era.
1:42= nuns are ALWAYS dying for a cigarette break! lol. plus, Henry Cavill had pretty hair back in the day.
Actually he had pretty everything!
Dead by Daylight is a good game for him. With other cameos including Freddy Kruger and Pyramid Head, he fits right in. And I can imagine he'd have a pretty unique moveset
well the moveset at least should be very kinky
His power is hard to play. He can shoot chains that are difficult to control. But it's cool how survivors have to find the box and solve it to prevent random chains from spawning on the map and slowing them down/interrupting them. Plus he can teleport to them if they're working on the box.
We have Superman, Lagertha, Bishop and King Ezekiel. So, this movie is Hellraiser’s take on Excalibur.
you mean cyborg
@@ebonkinght And Aqualad
Got my pinhead mask coming for halloween!
So are we going to have a livestream if you playing that game when Pinhead DLC comes out
I'll admit Brad one thing I love about you'er show is you can take a turd of a movie and make it enjoyable with you're humor. I enjoyed the episode.
1:40 for future reference, that font is called exocet.
Perfect way to start Halloween Month!
I must have seen parts of this on the SciFi channel or something. Know I have not seen this movie in full, but clips of this video awoken a memory inside of me lol
I'd think Brad would dig the Dead By Daylight games. Slasher villain vs survivors.
I remember Pizza Hut's Solve 20 boxes for a personal pan pizza promotion.
I always love Snobtober.
Dead By Daylight is a survival horror game that is NOT based on any horror film, but has characters you can get as DLC that are from horror films, like Pinhead
So Hendrickson got together with the makers of the game that killed his son as a way to get revenge for...his son's death? My lord what a mess.
Obviously you should be doing The Devil’s Chair next.
I want to see you review the Pumpkinhead series now that you're done with these.
Aha yes, we continue our painful decent into hell through Hellraiser sequels. 😭😂
Do you have an estimate of how many movies you've seen in your life, or in a specific time frame?
2:08 - Is that the dude from the Slasher TV series, when he was younger?
Last time I saw him his character had been bisected and his upper half pinned up on some curtains for his family to find.
"Dead by Daylight" is (in a way) one of the closest things we've gotten to a crossover between MULTIPLE horror franchises. Anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about ought to check out the character roster for the game, especially the DLC characters!
Who needs a calendar when you can tell what month of the year it is through Snob reviews? At least, in the 2nd half of the year...
Honestly, Deusdeacon said it best. "F*** off. F*** off. F*** off, come back here, and f*** off again."
Is anyone else having an audio problem where the movie clips are barely audible but the snob is loud and clear?
Sorry if I missed it (always been too poor to donate) have you ever reviewed attack of the killer TOMATOES/ return of? It's one of my favourite childhood films
Dead By Daylight is not upcoming, it's been out for a while now. The devs just added a bunch of DLCs over the years to support the game, there's even a Silent Hill DLC where Pyramid Head follows the other players around instead.
Holy shit I thought I was the only person on earth that had Taboo for the NES, I had absolutely no idea what was going on not knowing it wasn't an actual game
Hellrasier!! 🔥
Where is Lloyd?
3:15 "I CAME." For whatever reason the Dead By Daylight developers decided to remove this iconic pin head line from the game.
This is the only hell raiser movie I saw on tv and I kind like it kind of enjoyable interesting to watch too.
6:13
Aloha, Ben Tramer!!
This movie’s got a Superman AND a Cyborg 😉
The Hellraiser sequels after the 2nd always fell flat for me. I usually only ever watch the first 2. I think they are a complete story with no need for continuation.
I would have to agree.
It’s a shame we never saw any more of Leviathan and it’s realm.
I would consider the first four films to be the main story especially since Clive Barker was involved with 1,2, and 4
This goes without saying, but this is the second two actors from Man of Steel and Teen Titans respectively have appeared in a film together.
First being Groundhog Day.
Who came here after they announced that Jamie Clayton was gonna play Pinhead in the new Hellraiser?
today is my birthday... thank you brad...i waited so long for a review of the clusterfuck that is Hellworld...thank you, you sarcastic sob i love ya 😚💞
Edit: today i watched "the Blob " (1988) for the first time and loved it *hint hint wink wink nudge nudge*
14:46 wait, wait, wait...is..is that a shining reference? i know it's not the exact quote but...it's so similar
I unironically want Brad to be a survivor in DBD... I'm surprised he hasn't heard of the game prior to this review
*I need a cut of Superman singing “Holy Pussy” yesterday!* J.J.Jameson is done with Spider-Man and us now demanding an in-depth exposé titled: Superman: Does He Fuck? Soak? or use the Kirk Cameron’ Poophole Loophole?
After I saw Hellraiser: Inferno with its five minute (if that) cameo from Pinhead at the end, I gave up on the Hellraisers. Judging from the look of this I’m glad I did.
I continue to feel like I'm the only person who genuinely likes this movie. The previous three movies were so similar (especially Inferno and Hellseeker) that I loved the subversive plot structure with Lance Henriksen giving an awesome performance as the villain. As to the ending, it always seemed clear to me that the ghost friend and later the ghost Lance Henriksen were signs that the supposedly rescued protagonists were still buried and hallucinating. Enjoyable review regardless.
Can't wait for reviews on hellraiser revelations and judgement
6:11 BEN TRAMER FROM THE ORIGINAL HALLOWEEN II, WHAT'RE YOUUUUUU DOING HEEERE???!!!
Hellraiser Hellworld: Rave to the Grave
Is he really watching Psych Out? I would love a review of one of Richard Rush's 60s B movies. Maybe follow it up with The Trip.
Even after years of seeing this movie I only till recent found out Derrick is the same actor from The Walking Dead as the Black King Chracter there.
hay didn't Phelous talked about this a few years ago
Yes he did.
@@Sand-Walker13 then there's no need to even consider watching this because anything he will say has already been said which makes his commentary unoriginal and not worth a second thought
you know you love it
Hellraiser inferno has a good style to it and works as a surreal thriller while Hellseeker was more of the same and this one is pretty much a schlocky B movie slasher. The black dude in this is the voice of Cyborg on Teen Titans along with Henry who played Superman in the DCEU.
I actually remember the Freddy commercial from when I was a little kid!😁
