Erik did it much appreciated!! thanks
Yeah, those panels are very nice!! What are they?
They are leftovers from an old project. I made them by gluing together some pieces of oak, walnut (i think) and plywood.
What type of finish are you using? Is it Danish oil? Amazing craftsmanship
Nice job. I would have gone for some cap nuts on the bolts, though.
can you explain me about assembling all the electronic components and how to determine the power needed for a speaker, like a watt for amp and selection of twiter and subwofer that is suitable for the amp. thanks
You should check out Kirby meets audio here on youtube. He explains it pretty well.
Nice speaker..how do you charge it? And how many volts ?
Bosch gang❤️💪
Молодец!!! Продолжай снимать крутые видео , у тебя хорошо получается))
Hello, Erik:) Very good and useful video. I have a few questions# Why change the box? How long does the battery last(±50-60% volume and at max 100% volume)What is this noise# just by not playing music(when it's released, does it have it+play music or idle only)? Thanks in advance for your time:)
Hello, sorry for the late reply. I changed the volume of the box to fit all the electronics better. I havent really used the speaker much since I dont really need it. I just like to build them :) But the battery time is great. Atleast 6-8h.
You can hear the idle noise but it is not bad at all. I dont mind it actually. the 2.1 bluetooth speaker I build had a much worse idle noise even tho the amp was much more expensive. You can get the noise down by ground the amp enough.
Have a great day!
Great day and (u)....
By the way, what are the dimensions of the box?
thanks friend, good work, by Italian Ziolù
skellyforever thank you!
U just earned a sub
Really nice wood word, design and video editing. The only advice I can give you is to use genuine batteries (panasonic, toshiba, samsung...). The best 18650 batteries are about 3400mah. The batteries you put are max 1000 mah.
thank you for your advice! :) this is the first time i am building a portable speaker and my second bluetooth speaker so I am happy for all help i can get.
Erik did it, very good for the 1st portable speaker
Also, if you plan to use good and genuine 18650 batteries, buy a good BMS pcb with balancing charge, this way they will last longer
May i know the part list? Thanks

Do you mean that one? :)
not systematic.
Dont like music
Just a tip, while chamfering a hole like he did so that the screw can be flush, do NOT over tighten screw as it will split the wood
ZipSnipe yeah, thx. I experienced that :)
the front and back panel are beautiful nice project keep up the great work
Very nice looking, great job!
Would have been nice if you had more free internal volume so you coulda gotten a lil more outta the speakers...
slippyC73 yes, you are right. Check out my sound test video. I make the cabinet a little bit bigger.
nice project to inspire dude
Hello, what are bolts in the middle of the passives for?
Buttons for volume if I remember correctly
You inspired me Erik, uploaded to youtube my attempt. might be a bit bigger and without passive radiators, but the little speakers sound really good.
Maybe add some caps to hide the screws possibly?
