    Ooh, nice! I'm planning a similar build and was trying to think of some way to round the corners, this looks promising. 😊

    Love it, i actually did this on a much bigger scale making a hifi unit 1.8x0.5 using the kerfing method. I was actually thinking about doing this for a bluetooth speaker today and wholla here it is :) Great work again.

    Beautiful work man, I can't help but think you should get your logo made into a brand and burn it into the ply, would look great!

    How the hell did i miss the part of you kerfing? after doing a dozen kerfed projects, i just saw how you used water, heat and tape to get it into position, then glued. Great work. Normally i cut, spray the bended surface with water, glue, then bend into position, which i think is more difficult as the gaps fill quickly and attempt to fight you get it to the curve you need.

    The finished piece is very pretty, I like the use of different wood, and the natural finish, rather than shining it up.
    The kerfing wasn't done tightly enough in the beginning, probably could have done a few less cuts on each corner in order to get a tight fold with the slits.

    Hi, is there any application where the measurements of the woods appear?

  • @josuerivera9582
    @josuerivera9582 6 років тому

    What were you brushing on the wood as you were bending it? Also can a heat gun be used instead of a torch?

    • @Erikdidit
      @Erikdidit  6 років тому +1

      Yes Im sure a heat gun would be enough, I even think you would be able to bend it just using boiling water. I brushed on some hot water otherwise I would burn the wood.

    Hur gjorde du falsen? Sågade eller fräste?

    • @Erikdidit
      @Erikdidit  3 роки тому

      Runt högtalarna? Fräste :)

    • @markojarvinen
      @markojarvinen 3 роки тому

      @@Erikdidit Menar inte runt högtalarelementen. Menar delen som du tillverkar i början av filmen. Du sågar spår i plywooden för att kunna böja plywooden för att få runda hörn på högtalarlådan. Sen har du gjort en fals både på fram och baksidan för att kunna fälla in front (baffeln) och bakstycket. Dom falsarna menar jag. Du hoppar över det momentet i filmen. 🙂

    • @Erikdidit
      @Erikdidit  3 роки тому +1

      @@markojarvinen aha! Jo det gjorde jag med bordssågen innan jag böjde ihop allt :)

    • @markojarvinen
      @markojarvinen 3 роки тому

      @@Erikdidit Okej. 👍 Så här efteråt, hade det varit enklare att såga ut falsen innan du sågade spåren för dom böjda hörnen? Menar att plywooden är ju inte lika sladdrig då. 🙂
