The most difficult cabin air filter change I’ve ever had in my life. Horrible design, either by just really bad engineering or to keep you coming back to the dealer who wanted $250 to change this $10 filter plus the engine air.
So I struggled through this too.

This is a really good video. Do you have a video on changing out the fuel filter?
I don't have one of that just yet. I haven't had to change it out yet. The next video may be me replacing all brakes.
The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank is what I was told by the dealer
So the big question is: did replacing the cabin air filter fix the bad odor you had in your car?
Good question. It did not. On a hot day when the car is started. I can still smell the odor. It goes away after about a minute or so. Which leaves me to believe I have to clean the intake vent outside.
I am having a hell of a time getting the white top off the filter box. Those three tabs are tight as hell. Any suggestions? My hands barely fit in there to get more strength.
I'd use a flat end screw driver. I wouldn't pry on it too hard. Breaking one of those clips could lead to not having a completely sealed system.

The filter is flexible. Once you get one side in. It's easier to push in. Just got to take your time.
