Racemasters was formed in 1998 but the means for its creation was the result of a 40-year journey by Jim Russell. In 1969 Jim sold his slot car company: Russkit, to Aurora Plastics Company and moved to West Hempstead, New York, to accept a position with Aurora Plastics Company to head the Hobbycrafts division. This segment of the business dealt with the hobby side of the HO scale slot cars that had become such a staple for the company. He hired a new team and proceeded to re-make the product line dramatically improving the design and performance of the cars. He also oversaw the renaming of the product range AFX in 1971. As a result of these changes, AFX grew dramatically over the next 5 years to about $45 million and became the clear market leader.

I bought the 4 lane Super International and never had any regrets. If you want you can make a 50 foot 2 lane layout with nice gentle curves using the 12 inch radius track.
I want to see more of that AFX Super International set
Had the largest H.O. track in the USA back in the late 1960s used 4 power packs filled up a 4x8 table using 2 levels

I got a Tyco set for Christmas from Sears when I was a kid. Still have it. Don’t remember how many feet of track, but it’s a pretty big set.
You should set it up and get some of the new cars!
Does the 24h afx track compatible with, fit a policar track?
Fun to see videos on the AFX slot car track. But, I kindly need to disagree that these sets are compatible with Aurora AFX track. The Super International and Giant Raceway are Tomy AFX compatible. The Tomy track connections are different than Aurora AFX. You need an adapter track to go between the designs.

Why doesnt AFX have any recent built Pit stop Track? Ho scale....
it don't work on autoworld they line up but don't lock right the middle tab dont lock

you need a power tap look into it it will run great no power down on half of the track
