You Truly are THE GREAT!! Dude my Hornhead Pred also came with the left leg shin guard backwards also!! I fixed it but it took a lot of time...... The actually fix took like 15 mins but procrastinating about fixing it took about 8 months lol.
I hear you I mod my preds first I get them,I've fixed ever QC issue with no breakage ever.But I'll hand it to it is very scary taking them apart I'm about upgrade blap to ultimate body watch vid made think I could cut my Borg's arms better like you i do ever backwards i went bit crazy with exacto knife screwed up bits of borgs gauntlets. But yeah I'm trying make wholes just right to be able swivel similar to original ultimate city hunter body which I can't wait get start another full custom, nice video man! Keep up good work! 😁
I did this when my Scarface Predator got a broken arm, without cutting the joint and it worked for me and is stronger like you said, i did that a year ago and now i see this video and i feel proud XD, can you pop out the plasmacaster of the City Hunter?? I wonder if that plasmacaster can fit in another predator (Ultimate Series)
Thank-you. Great repair job and handy to be in the knowledge of repairing these. My only concern is making a bigger hole for the arm in order for the screw head to fit inside. Would it been better to remove the screw head and thin it down and add glue for the opposite side too, as you demostrated in the video or am I missing something here?
How does one fix a broken plasma caster joint? Also my custom predator figure’s left foot will not stay on it’s ball joint, falls off with little twists, how do I fix this other than gluing it?
Here's the thing, I bought an ultimate jungle hunter and I bought a classic predator jungle hunter but older edition, the one on the movie "predators" both are jungle hunters different edition and I only bought the second one so I could use the unmasked open mouth head, but it turn out that the hole on the head it's a bit bigger there fore it won't fit on the ultimate jungle hunter's head peg, Any advice or suggestions to fix it so it can fit? Thanks hope I made myself clear
My Olanet of the Apes Luca's whole leg came out of the waist. With the peg still inside the leg and i tried super glueing it. It worked for a few years but after pulling a little. It came out. Tried again with glue anbd its not working. I REALLY dont want to get a new Luca so i'm desperately wanting to try this technique....
I just paid $40 from BBTS for NECA Ghostface. Came with a broken elbow out of the box. Went to go fix it and not deal with customer service but they also gave me 2 right shoulders. So unless I completely ruin another gif for their arm or BBTS replaces it, I think I’m done with neca for a while
I know I'm late to the conversation, can anyone tell me the dimensions of basic neca predator wrist (gauntlet) blades, I'm trying to get some 3d printed up but don't know what to tell my printer guy, size wise, I it's small like mm... Anybody? Help?
You know if there is any other way besides drilling into the figure, as for myself getting the drill and screws would probably cost me just as much as a replacement. From what I hear, this is the easiest way

When I break them I just add neon green paint and it’s now a battle wound predator

heat them with a blowdryer and then position them and let cool in position you want

These stupid joints are made from poor materials. In time they broke, even if you.don t use them at all. I have a problem at the shoulder.
