In the Joker repair, I think it needs maybe a longer Dental Post to make a sturdier connection.

This is excellent timing. Just ordered a play arts Alphonse from fullmetal alchemist and got him today. It was sealed in package and the second I took it out leg snaps clean off. This is a huge help. Thank you for the tutorial.
This is kind of a late comment 😁 but a better technique for that Spider-Man neck was to use a drill to completely drill out the hole in spite of the glue. If you're still fixing action figures you should get your hands on some Lego Technic pieces. They have small ball joints and connectors that work great for reattaching broken limbs.

I have many NECA figures, and they are known for breaking.I have not broken any of them yet, but if I do, this video will come in handy.
Finally had one of my NECA's break on me. *sigh* Led me to this video.
My animated NECA TMNT Michelangelo came out of the box with broken nunchucks. Not sure what plastic NECA uses, but they seriously might want to look at different ones if they can’t even survive shipping.

@@christphern hmmm....I think it's only the way they build these figures. They don't use good supports...and they snap like twigs. They should of used ball joints instead of these annoying little pegs. Most dolls have rounded joints...which prevents it from snapping. Dollightful uses a thread with an elastic, putting it through and it stays. Or wood...ie. a good popsicle stick.

I always find these videos pretty interesting
The peg repair for Joker works really well in general especially if used as a last resort sort of thing. Its something I've done a few times in the past but never thought of dental hard ware O.o. My go to has been drywall nails(?) They're skinny and threaded nails so not only do they bite into the plastic but they work well with CA glue to fill in along the gaps in the nail itself.
A second way is making a ball socket, a trick i found out by accident.
Story time! I got hold of a Generations Arcee but didn't like the head so made a casting of the first edition TFP Arcee, but the problem is that the the ball joints were different sizes. Miliput and Blue Stuff only goes so far and while it is possible to get a good ball socket cast, it tends to be a pain in the ass. So I bored a hole that'd fit the ball peg then used hot glue and a bit of water to cool it so it wouldn't adhere to the ball joint. It was trial and error and while I was just hoping for rotation, but instead it turned out to be a fully functional ball socket.
I needed this video I have a halo action figure that I got from an antique shop and the joints are so stiff and don’t move. And the head keeps falling off

Hey i know this vid is kinda old but i used a picture frame eye screw in place of your dental screw. I found a pack around the house or at your local dollar tree. Just cut off the ring part and it worked great, but i wouldnt have known without your great video thank you
Well, this has given me a little hope that I MIGHT be able to successfully make my repair, which is coincidentally enough a mix between the two. A removable head pin broken in exactly the worst place. My hope is to extract and reinforce the broken bit to keep it able to be swapped properly, but I expect it's going to need to be permanently fixed.

Do you think you can drill through the existing pegs and use a smaller dental thing or a thin paper clip instead of glueing spiderman?
You can use those tiny screws for eye glasses. You can buy them with kits.
I have a very basic problem but don't know how to fix it. Bought a new loose figure and one of its simple pivot joints from the knees is broken I think because of the heat of the delivery.
Do you guys know how to fix something like that? I'm not sure what to use as a replacement for the pin.

Man, got a Megahouse One Piece figure, took it out of the box and the foot broke right off, been looking for a way to reattach it, wonder if they make regular set screws as small as the dental posts. That was my idea. This video has definitely given me a direction for fixing a brand new $100 footless figure

I had the same problem with a 3 3/4 dc injustice joker but I used a plastic peg and it works.
I have always wanted to try two tiny brad nails side by side so the bridge can't rotate.

I remember when I had the action figure back in the day it was brand new in the package, when I sold them all meaning all three of them still in package
It's a McFarlane Movie Maniacs 5 Wishmaster action figure, I know there's a problem with the arm when I bought it at a Goodwill, the arm wouldn't fit back into the hole of the Peg, I tried the twisty arm and push it back on and then I broke it.
Seeing that you're a very busy man, it will be hard for you to make a house call for me, to fix one of my action figures so I can get up on The Real Creepy Doll Man episode soon!

I got my first black series the other day and out of the box the hand peg broke off I've been thinking of ways to try and repair it without superglue, btw the figure is the tusken raider
I have a question. you know how you use those like little replacement ball pegs. Do you have one of those for hands because i want like a throwing hand for my marvel legends worthy cap so i can have him posed with him throwing his shield? Hello Dstar, i have a Black series General grievous figure that has unsymmetrical pieces on his chest normally i wouldn't have a problem with it but the right side of the chest is limiting arm articulation to only up and down how can i fix this issue
So what do you charge the fixing the action figures, how much do you charge to fix it, I might give you this task if you can fix the arm to rotate all the way around without breaking!

Cool, my son is training to be a dentist, so he got me some posts they are much better than a piece of wire. Do you get many requests for the broken pegs on the Combatants? They break so easily.
You can also use a nail and some wire cutters it will work just as well i fixed my bootleg goku and mafex spiderman with the same method

I got a SH Figuarts Hulk. His right leg broke off. Like, the peg or what ever you call it is fine, but there are these pieces that holds together around the peg that holds the leg on it. I have no clue how to explain it. I'm new at this. Anyways, I went to pose him. His leg legit just fell off. It broke the same day I got it in. I took him out of the package. Stood him up because I was busy and couldn't really enjoy the figure that moment. When I went to pose him behind my Captain America,Iron man and Thor, his leg just snapped. I have no clue what to do. I like the figure a lot which is why I'm extremely disappointed that it broke. Especially only using em only one time. This is why I can't have nice things 😂

I was just wondering if you could have used the pin vise, and those things that you used for Joker's legs and used it for the neck of Spiderman, or as @ToyPolloi does with Legos as a replacement for moveable joints.
I was actually thinking the same thing while watching this. Would have made that spidey head permanent. Super glue is so meh when it comes to attaching figure plastic

How do you get these to repair? Be a I have a jazwares action figure with a ball joint that is cracked and about to break, and some of my action figures joints won’t move (don’t mind about the neck joints, I’m fine with those), though these are not broken, asides from tat one figure I mentioned earlier with a cracked ball joint for a leg.

You think you know how to fix broken clear pegs on dc collectibles figures? My Arkham City Clayface has a broken leg from a tumble off my shelf and I have no idea how to fix it tried glue worked for a bit but just broke again.
Is there a spirit attached to that action figure I don't know for sure, I will give it a week or two for something will attach to it I'm sure.
