If you are out there, hear me out. . . Their only 3 tools are Fear, Guilt, and Shame - Once you recognize that anyone is trying to induce these emotions, ignore whatever they are saying. If someone is trying to make you feel uplifted, joy, valued, then follow those. Ignore fear of losing something or someone. Ignore feeling ashamed of being imperfect or making mistakes. Ignore guilt of being human. Remember you are wonderful and today is the first day of the rest of your life, and while I may never know you, I may never see you, or hold your hand, I Love you.
Thank you so much for mentioning this vitally important information because it's one of the main reasons why I got caught up with many highly narcissistic, or worse, individuals, including cult leaders! I had huge issues with feeling unheard and unseen etc due to my deprived childhood, and other reasons, so was extremely susceptible to this tactic. I recall when it dawned on me with a couple of them that I wasn't special AT ALL since they said, or did, the same things to others. I also remember a particular good-looking, not to mention charming, man who had numerous women AND men thinking that they were his close confidant, or favourite, yet were one of many. It can be very painful to accept reality though, so I "get" why they prefered to continue believing it. ❤
I think you had under 500 subs when I subbed to your channel. I knew it would, eventually, start to grow. And I knew once it did, the trolls would find your channel too. I was hoping they wouldn't, but knew that they would. Please don't let them run you away from the people who genuinely appreciate what you do. I do.
Awww. Thanks. I do see trolls, but it hasn’t been as bad as I expected. They do sometimes get to me a little, if I’m being honest, but then I picture them being certain people I’ve known and realize that I don’t care what they think. Thanks for the encouragement and support!
If you need validation from your narcissist then your narcissist has officially turned you into a narcissist too. Thank God it’s reversible as long as you catch it quick enough.
