A tip if you order from Temu,wash the clothes,gloves etc before use beacuse they can itch pretty bad.
Not too sure I'd trust the safety gear from either temu or AliExpress, I have however bought some bike stuff from both and they've been fine - mainly things like replacement foot pegs, gear levers and some cosmetic things like stickers etc
I’ve bought stuff like that too. I wanted to check out some of their kit for a while so when I got the Voge i needed to buy some kit for off roading and before buying more kit that cost a small fortune i thought I would try some cheap stuff first. Hopefully it will last more than 1 ride.
Pants lol, is that what the english call them now? You wear your pants under your troosers, unless yer wearin a kilt!🤣✌

For my Rebel I got a side stand extender, accessories bar (sat nav and gopro fit really well), mudguard extender and sissy bar/rear rack. All have been great quality and less than half the price of brands. TBH, I would never buy protective gear from Temu or Aliexpress...just personal choice. Interesting video
Everyone seems to have the same experience. Everyone happy with the accessories they have bout but won’t risk the safety gear. I might have to compare what I got next to my mates stuff that he paid 10x more for.
my Mrs has bought a fair few things from Teemu and everything so far has been decent and really good value, mind that doesn't include bike clothing, having said that I have bought some good stuff off eBay in the past that has come from China, just need to give things a good looking at and do a bit of research and remember Asian sizes are considerably smaller than UK sizes
The clothing seems really good. I will definitely buy some more tops and pants. Just not convinced by the pads yet but I will get them a try.
I always have to try any clothing on before purchase as I find just going by M, L, XL ect..doesn't seam to work, as every mamanufacturer sizes & cut is a bit different.
Plus I can see & feel the product first.
If I was spending a lot I would do the same. I need to try it all on first. I’ve found with these that their sizes are much smaller than the sizes over here. So an XXXL is about the same size as an XL over here. If you do order anything always go bigger!
I just did my first 7 days motorcycle trip, prior to that, I hadn’t ridden for longer than a hour at a time. I had to purchase a lot of bike stuff for the trip, I was initially concerned about ordering from TEMU. Wow! Was I pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price. Windshield $50cdn, air pump , phone holder, luggage rack and bag, t shirts. Everything worked great.
Some of the stuff they sell is brilliant. I’ve bought more since and I’m very happy with it.
What was the safety rating on the gear? As a general rule I will never buy anything else than cosmetic stuff from China.
No safety rating on it. It feels ok and the pads are in the correct place so I will give it a go for some light green lanes, doesn’t look or feel like it will last long term but that suits me. I’m new to off roading so going slow. When I speed up and if i stick with it I will buy some proper kit. . The knee pads look really good though and look like they will last. The main thing for me was I didn’t want to spend another £1000 on kit that never gets used.
Hey Gilly, how are the knee protectors? Do they slide down when you walk around with them on?
I bought the wider kickstand foot on Temu. I tightened them to where they nearly stripped out the aluminum threaded holes. And on the first ride, the 2 back screws came loose and fell out someplace.
My Ali express one did the same 😂
@@GillyBikes Gotta get a lil bag of replacement screws. Then dig out my lil bottle of Loctite.

some propper bargains there. how many times have you used them on your bike?
I’ve probably used the pj looking pants the most. They make a brilliant base layer to keep warm.
You'll only know the quality of the armour if you crash, only then ..

I saw multiple bike helmets on aliexpress and they seem really good
I’m not sure I would risk a helmet. I can’t see them being tested like they should. I’m tempted to buy one now to see if they are any good 🤔

Nice review. Thanks! I love me some temu. Would aay 9t oercent of the stuff ive gotten from there ive been happy with. After a while you kinda learn from reviews and just the materials what will be good and what will be ok.
I’m seeing that as well. I’ve bought a few more bits. Some big savings to be fair.
Well it looks ok . However lets see how long it lasts when u get out and get wet and muddy. I as u know got Alpinestar Bionic body and knee armour ,with Tech 3 boots. I may have to do a comparison review to see if your kit matches up . I may be surprised 😜🙈
It definitely is not as good as your stuff. I would say it’s the stuff you find in the bargain bin. Hopefully I will get more than one ride out of it. 😂
I know this is a motorcycle gear review but how would these hold up for a cheap alternative to safety gear for moerate sword sparring with synthetic swords
That would probably work better that for the bike 😂

That was the point really of doing this. They sell it so I wanted to see how good / bad it was. The non safety stuff like the tops were really good for the price. The safety stuff I’m going to put next to so good expensive stuff and compare them. Might do a future video on it if I’m feeling brave enough to wear the Temu stuff whilst riding 😂

Oh I see. I thought you were just having a go. I did this video to mainly highlight the poor quality, however I was pleasantly surprised. It’s still not brilliant but better than I thought.
If they lower the prices then people will buy.

Since I filmed this I’ve used this as a base layer under my riding jeans and they were brilliant in the cold. No refund needed. 😎
temu est beaucoup plus cher que aliexpress . J'ai beaucoup d'equipements moto ( blouson hiver et été et pantalon hiver et été ) , je ne suis pas decu , le pantalon d'été (un jean ) est costaud , il va bientot avoir 2 ans et aucun soucis .
Je pense que d'une maniere generale aliexpress est monté en gamme . Ma femme a acheté un blouson d'été chez un concessionnaire moto , l'a payé 150 € , moi mon blouson d'été ne m'a couté que 40 € et il est largement mieux que le sien . En plus il a une doublure amovible .

If your not 100% happy with your purchases Timu Ali Express will accept returns no worries and free of charge. You have nothing to loose, just be weary of those porch pirates and enjoy the significant savings
