Setting the politics aside, I was genuinely curious what would show up when I ordered these parts. I'm just here to make fun, interesting and hopefully entertaining videos. I totally understand if you don't want to shop there. But when a part should cost $500 and you can buy it for less than $100 someone had to test it out.

Eh I disagree. I was curious how far money would go on a site like Temu as well. I probably wouldn't consider engine related stuff otherwise. Can't say I would now that I've watched it, but I get a sense of the risks and potential cost savings now likewise.
I'm cheap. Like way cheap. I buy from Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. But I'm not TEMU cheap.
Those are all fair. I buy from Amazon weekly. However I have not downloaded temu yet. My wife uses it and gets decent stuff but I have a feeling it’s just like TikTok and how they watch all your phone activity. Also you’re basically buying junk so it’s probably not worth it
I'd maybe get the grips off temu. Wouldn't trust ANYTHING else tho. Bars and pegs are a safety problem. Big bore kit is iffy, don't go far from home or camp lol. I have a cheap big bore kit at home for a honda 150 that im nervous to try.
I will never do Temu but Amazon close...Amazon seems to me to be 90% chinese companies anyway. So, like buying from Temu but the company (Amazon) is USA based.

Temu is losing money to get consumer data. Absolutely do NOT use Temu.
They buy failed product lines. Fine if you want a plate or a cup. Not if you want anything else.
I've never had issues with products from them. The trick is use a prepaid card for your orders and use an old phone without your personal information. Temu is really worth it. Products are better than wish and Amazon and in some cases better than harbor freight and Walmart. Obviously high end brands are still better than temu but also 10 times the price.
Everything gets consumer data, from your cellphone to the love hotels, doctors, hospitals, your motorcycle, cars, the incognito mode on the browser... everything, so that's not an issue, the real issue is that most products suck on the app ...

This for the non believers: I installed the app, just to have a look around, uninstalled the app, it took me weeks and weeks to get rid of all the crap it kept sending me, it’s genuinely like an oozing STD.

I understand wanting to try out TEMU and see what the quality is like. But, partnering and promoting them to your viewers is a huge miss. Especially knowing all the allegations against them. This would have been a great video if you had stayed independent and not accepted a sponsorship from TEMU. A glowing commercial by a respected UA-camr for a known shitty company...how much did they pay you? How much was your integrity worth?

Check out the temu supercharger video from Sammit he refused to work with Temu on the project, because and i quote they make you sign an agreement where you cannot say anything negative about the products. So therefore i dont trust this video at all im still going to watch because i love the content but i dont trust anything said about the products.
Yeah, he drilled out the DANGEROUSLY void filled pegs, and put on a super super thin handlebar - it's a danger to the rider if either those snap. I would never let anyone ride it.
If he or anyone crashes that bike, insurance company doesn't give you a dime, no matter what policy you have. None of those parts are not certified for road use (or any kind of use).

It’s really great, except for the carb that doesn’t work, the pegs are the cheapest aluminum with internal gaps, the bars are flimsy and far too narrow… Other than that, great stuff. 😂

Chinese carburetors taught me there's never a reason to replace a genuine Mikuni. Leaks and leaks and leaks, just like yours, no matter what. I realised after parking the bike for *another* year that the new pair of carbs was more frustrating than the old pair, and figured out how to make them work. No issues in the last three years.

As an insurance agent for an european company, i can only tell you to not buy from there. When you order e.g. and electronic device from Temu, you will be the so called "main importer" meaning that YOU are reliable for quality tests, warranty stuff and so on. Meaning, if your house burns down due to one faulty thing you bought there, we wont pay you anything since you imported that stuff and didnt do propper testing (like the "E Checkmark"). Thats at least here in europe.

Just watched a video on how temu works, they “make” things to order, they don’t pre make anything and store it, they just post a crap ton of stuff that can be made, and then when you order they order from the manufacturer, that’s why things take so long to get to you.

There is a a whole host of problems with government run enterprises. Every company in China has a “Commissar” basically a communist party official that tells the company what it can and can’t do or how it can spy for the government.
Second China is treated by the world as a 3rd world country even though it is not because it has a large GDP, a space program, and the largest military in the world that is technologically advanced.
The 3rd world status legally gives China Discounted and Subsidized Mail Cargo Rates through the International Postal Convention (I believe is a UN program) which the USA pays most of the money. They either pay nothing for actually receive money back on shipping through this program. This is how they can ship from China for so cheap, they are subsidized by this program and other and your items that should be $20 are now $3-$4 dollars.
This hurts the economy of other countries and their workers and is one of the ways China cheats the world.

I have to say I was surprised to see this channel promote Temu and my initial reaction was of great disappointment. I read plenty of comments against and a few for the sponsor, mainly centred around the channel making some money. I sat on it for 24 hours and educated myself on the issues with Temu. I find myself unable to agree with the decision to promote Temu. It is easy to justify sponsorship as making a bit of extra money but somewhere there is a line. In the video description, the blurb starts with "politics aside..." Fair enough. I can agree with that. Promoting a company that sells cheap and virtually disposable items....hmm...well, each to the own though I do in general try a buy stuff that will last. But what I can't agree with is promoting an App that has opaque data practices and data mining practices. This channel choose to associate themselves with these practices so I choose to unsubscribe and will no longer watch any if their content.

With a new video out and no comment on your part concerning Temu, I am sadly unsubscribing. Many of us were bothered by your Temu Endorsement; and many of us commented about it. That you've chosen not to say anything about sticking with Temu/not sticking with Temu I now have the feeling that individuals subscribing to your channel may not be that important to you.

As someone who owned and ran a Supermoto race team, owned a major marque dealership ... I would NOT use those bars nor the foot pegs, or the non 'O' Ring 'O' Ring chain ... If those bars snap, then someone is in _real trouble_. If I didn't wear the most expensive safety gear when a foot peg snapped on my EXC 450, I would have lost a leg. No joke. Same goes for chains.

Temu doesn't make anything. They take products from bulk manufacturers and sell them at cost directly. That's why you don't see them putting any brand names in their titles or descriptions.
Very sceptical about Temu products, so a few months ago I ordered a few
.325 chainsaw chains, 8 euros each, Oregons are 20 euros.
Tried them on long-dead dry oak, they cut as good as Oregon ones.
Not saying all products are good but the chains are OK..

After watching this upload, when I then went to Facebook, I get nothing but TEMU pop up ads, didn't even know about them until this. Had to do a full system scan and delete all cache files to stop them. FYI everyone before you look at this.

@@KyleReese-vt8bo its just with sponsored content you don't know if theirs stuff in the contract about not talking bad about the products and stuff. Meaning you cant really take anything he is saying about any of the products seriously. some people might not now this and then end up garbage off temu. Temu may have some good products but most of it is just one time use items that are meant to be thrown away. Also some things like chains and brakes that are really important for safety i would never trust off websites like temu.
