I got 3 instead of 37, that negative sign (I thought to subtract) threw me off, I hope my GED practice math test (I'm taking today) makes it more clear so I can tell the difference better.
It's not hard, but it's an easy slip to make.

PEMDAS means Parenthesis Exponents Multiplication Division Addition and Subtraction.

addition comes before subtraction. 50 *{-33 + 20}*
after adding -33 + 20 = 13
then you do subtraction. 50 - 13 = 37

It adds up because -5 x -5= 25 then just do 25 x -5 or 25 + 25 +25 + 25 + 25 which equals 125 but don't forget to add the negative sign from the 5.

Very helpful! However towards the end of the polynomial section there is a lot of work done without much explanation followed by quick cuts. This was the only segment that I had trouble following though. Great work!
