    I’m having these exact feelings where I’m about ready to divorce from my raging mood swings, confusion and major brain fog, slurred speech and exactly what your saying here. Mine was removed 12 years ago and I’m having all these feelings? I feel like I’m high on something. Thank you for explaining exactly what I’ve been feeling the last five years.

    There's no enough words to explain my gratitude ...when nobody understands what you are going through, especially brain fog for me is something too much to handle. I was one of the toppers in 10th grade but due to brain fog I'm not able to study. Not able to solve math problems and especially during reading I'm not able to grasp. Even though I'm going through this, I will overcome and top my entrance exams. Thankyou for sharing and spreading awareness.

    Thank you so much for your helpful videos. I feel very alone as I don't know anyone that has graves disease but me. I was in a very unhealthy marriage which I think what contributed to my graves disease and I have had it for 12 years now. I am looking into removing my thyroid so your videos have given me hope.

    This month I've had that rage, anxiety no period when I always get it. Brain fog too. My late mother had Graves disease and my sister has hypothyroidism. My thyroid feels and looks swollen to me. I've had my thyroid check 5 times over the years but haven't had it checked in a few years now. Doctors have always told me my levels are normal. I'm making a appointment with my doctor this week.

    Hey Emma, I am watching all your videos and it's giving me a bit of hope. Ive been on the Hashimoto rollercoaster since 2019. I did very well on levothyroxine combined with NDT medication but lately these are not working anymore. I switched to cytomel and it calms me a bit, but my moods are still all over the place. I am anxious, depressed, panicked, I am crying, fighting with people I love, just having such a hard time. My doc recommends just taking it out, cause I also have lots of nodules. I am so scared of this operation because I don't want these symptoms to become worse..my doc says it will be better (she had hers taken out 36 years ago, she's in her 50s and feeling great) . Overall, is your mood better since the surgery? Thanks, your channel really helps a lot ♥

    Hi everyone. I've been greatly affected by cluster B personality disorder people in my life. Just about every single one of my cluster B family and friends has/had/or was diagnosed with a thyroid problem. Cluster B personalities are BPD, ASPD, NPD, Histrionic. Mood swings, anger, temper, anxiety, fog, memory problems, wait gain, wait loss all are patterns seen in cluster B personalities due to the fragility of their sense of self. If their sense of self is wounded/injured/triggered/challenged, they may feel a legitimate life or death type of threat. This stirs up a cocktail of fight or flight hormones, depression hormones, and really does a number on one's physiology. It's worth looking into if thyroid treatments are not working.

  • @strifeup2

    I've been dealing with this for several months now and just found out many of my levels are off. I have almost been in denial.. I've had mood swings, feeling depressed, angry, anxious, and an inability to shake the feeling of being afraid of things/future.. so weird. I'm normally a calm person, but lately, I can't seem to keep my composure, which is very unlike me.

    • @benjaminashery7728
      @benjaminashery7728 Рік тому

      You are on the right track because at least you have self awareness and you understand that the hormones/thyroid are causing these mood problems. If you have a partner, she must be going through some tough times. I hope she knows all about this disease because if she doesn't, she won't understnad your changes and will take everything personally. Good luck

    Yes, I had the same… issues. It’s the worst ever! I was hyper for twelve years ago and now they say I’m hypothyroid. I felt like my brain was on speed and out of my mind some days, so I called the dr and they checked my blood and sure enough I was over medicated on levothyroxine. They lowed my meds and now I feel like my body is getting so weak! Ugg…
    I was diagnosed with osteoporosis September 2023 of course and I feel like my body is dissolving and the mood swings have calmed down most days? I’m going to go see a new doctor before I become more weak. 🙏🏻

    Hi my husband has graces disease.. and I think it’s the reason our relationship is failing... he can be such a loving happy fun guy but I think he is getting sick again . He lost a lot of weight work long hours on third shift and is always tired. Can’t keep food down. But mainly the mood swing and aggression is is bad!! Me and the kids are always walking on egg shells and little things make him explode to where he will break things or say really mean scary things... 😔 I really want my family to work I know he gets like this when his thyroid is acting up. He doesn’t take medication for it cause when he did the side effects were sooo bad he was in so much pain he had to get disability . And removing the thyroid is so scary cause with out it he can’t live.. all he does is smoke weed to manage his stress. But I really don’t know what to do. He doesn’t want to help him self he thinks he is fine and I’m the problem...

The only way things can get better is if they have some self awareness and want to get help by finding a different doctor who specializes in this and can prescribe the right drugs, supplements, diety etc... and work closely with.
