The subtle shift to the harmonic minor toward the finale was reminiscent of 14th century modal patterns common in traditional Eastern European folk chants. Or some other bollocks. Solid 11.366/10 from me.
I ended up watching this whole entire song in the middle of night because I was bored and then I was immediately horrified at the end, thank you clown core you are my new favorite band
@@gvis3880 Given the time difference between this era and now, I wouldn't be suprised if (assuming it is him 😜) it's just a matter of skill development. 10+ years is alot of time for one to improve, especially given Louis' ability to improve seemingly endlessly
One of the most hardest fucking things to do as a talented drummer is pretend to play bad. So much of the rhythm is ingrained in you, and for you to LITERALLY play notes that are off and out of context is basically impossible. You are always considering the music being played currently, and it's so hard to take yourself out of it just to play some notes that dont correlate.
So Clown Core began as a WEEN cover band and then someone in a less than a decade discovered Pig Destroyer, Meshuggah, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Lightning Bolt and Mr. Bungle?
I know that these guys can actually play, so it seems that they're mocking something here. What do you think the message is that they're trying to deliver? That anyone can play in a band if they want to? And to not worry about what others think?
Infinite Realm of Incomprehensible Suffering and Tears of God being some of their most (relatively) beautiful songs leads me to believe they're just using the edgy image to push edgy thoughts. I almost had a bad trip when i saw the video for Truth and Life but someone in the comments translated the ominous binary to a lovely message. If nothing else, they push people to get out of their aural comfort zones - those sax "solos" are always worth the punishment and only the curious/mature will see, ironically after having weathered immature poopy noises
Damn, Weezer's getting good again!
WEEZER is everything compared to this junk.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha.
@@gregoryivanov9187 weezer is trash because they took it serious. Heat guys are 10x better than weezer
@@gregoryivanov9187 Weezer sucks ass bro, id shit on their sweater.
Hows it feel to get likes on a comment thats 2 years old?
It's like that Picasso quote where he says it took him like 14 years to learn to paint like the masters and a lifetime to learn to paint like a child
Ok this, this is the thesis statement
There's so much talent with them, but yes they are throwing the rules away to create art
@@darthanddedeu2580 No. They are mocking the rules.
And transcending the rules at the same time.
They have clearly sold out at this point.
What say you now?
Proof that the best timed comedy will decorate a computer screen with spittle speckles!!!
Holy fuck this comment killed me.
@l o l yeah saw them in a Cadillac commercial
😂😂
The fact that they're insanely amazing musicians pretending to play like amateurs is impressive
Yes! I think that's exactly the point of this track, they're bloody good and sharing a joke with us :D
The best musicians know how to do "bad" on purpose.
Now I understand why most of their songs are instrumental
I was like come on man hit the fucking drum! Then he hit the drum
Ayy man can you time stamp when he hit the drum ? I missed that

We need a post clown genre.
Here, 7 years later, Norwegian Post Clown Death Djent is already straight up Boomer Tunes ...
Good job, you made a genre

That’s why I like them. It’s just like ween.
All hail boognish
They made me tear up with their blissful vocal harmonies
You know what I liked best about this video? You couldn't hear a word they were saying.
0:40 this part is very important
Don't you mean 1:19
@@mittenstherealest No no. Clearly 0:40 is more important.
@Postmaster General You make a great point man. Those lyrics hit hard in that section.
That transition was better than crack

Weird for a long time, then suddenly scary?
My sister in laws dog growled. Well done.
Half the fun of clownc0re is being uncertain whether or not that really is Louis and Sam
Truth be told this drummer is completely half assed compared to cole

Love the guitar pickings at the beginning and the lazy vocals unironically.

This is the closest we'll ever get to hearing their real voices 😥
Guess they decided singing was for newbs so now all their music is pretty much the final 15 seconds 😂
