My favourite Panerai watch would be the white dial submersible showcased in this video. I have always been a fan of steel bezel and this one just looks aesthatically pleasing, especially paired with the green cushioned band.
Will be trying it out later today, hope it is not too big for my 6.5" wrist lol.

That sunburst blue dial luminor and the submersible bianco are beautiful. Grail watch.
Why don't u mention that this brand is going downhill? Got famous by Stallone and he's totally ditched the brand now and moved to rolex and AP. New movements have been cheapened and fake claims with eta movements, CEO accidently posted a fake on his insta and had to take the post down, false marketing on some models with screwed caseback which was discovered not to be the case. Why do think they don't show caseback on new models cos people will see how cheap the movements are for what's being marketed as a luxury brand. Tons of panerai sitting on ebay and Grey market cos no one is buying these anymore.
The Submersible is a beautiful watch and such a distinctive look.
Panerai has been a watch I have went to buy several times but have always ended up getting something else. I will one day soon possibly before the end of this year add one. Love the new watch box. What price are they coming in at

I love Panerai Radiomir. It is the least pretentions.
My Panerai is one of my wife’s favorite pieces in my collection. It’s a 44mm, Titanium Destro.
I have a Panerai 00112 and my wife has a Due 38mm. Both are fabulous watches.
I don't know the reference but I tried in a lovely Luminor recently. Beautiful blue dial with a blue fabric strap. That would be my favourite.
I'd enjoy a more deep dive into Panerai, people don't talk much about them anymore.
I love Panerai watches BUT FYI Stallone no longer wears Panerai and has emailed Panerai about his decision to no longer wear them. He felt that Panerai never gave him credit or recognition for single handedly taking an obscure unknown brand and putting them on the map. If it weren't for him they would still be a micro brand.
By far the Luminor Marina Carbotech™ Blu Notte 44mm is my favorite. Thanks for your continued amazing content!
Love the look of the Panerai. I think they might be a little too big for my wrist, and a little too heavy for my pocket 🙂 Lovely style of watch though.

I have been looking at Panerai for over a year, the luminor being the obvious choice. I do find it interesting though that the talk from lots of watch youtubers is to buy their vintage offerings.
Been there too. Was thinking about Panerai for years. Just a few months ago, I finally pulled the trigger on a PAM00915. It is my most favorite watch in my collection since.

@@alexxfreedom First off: You should only buy a Panerai for yourself. Panerai watches are not a good investment as you will not be able to sell them for the price you have bought them. That being said, I cannot say anything bad regarding the quality. The rate value is about +7 secs/day, which is okay but not fabulous (my Sub is below -1 sec/day). However, it has such a special feel to it when wearing it. There is no watch I just look at and admire so often during the day like my PAM915. I really recommend to try some models on your wrist for yourself (and remember that 44 mm Bettarini case is smaller/better for thin wrists than 44 mm Luminor 1950 case). You will be sold. 😃
@@PorscheCayenneS completely get that one. I am not looking at an investment but my collection is small, I want too many to mention at the moment, and it's a high cost but I would hope highly rewarding to wear one near to everyday.

The best was the Bronzo in 2010 and dit got very rare to get…Mush later in 2019 I got myself to own the BMG Tech ..these 2 just lit on ones hands! When I’m ok I’ll own them back!

There is a weird fact, that Panerai produces watches that have only 30m „water resistance“. That’s just weird for a brand that was supplying the Italian Navy once…

Correction. Sly used to wear Panerai watches. They treated him like shit and wears watches that warrant a price point.
They’re making 30m resistant watches now..garbage movements
Panera could make money hand over fist with one move-
make the due 300m water resistant.
My fav panerai is the Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono Flyback, a bit too big for me but looks amazing imo:)
The most appealing case ever designed. All other brands their cases are clones. That's why I have a luminor and a submersible, 47 mm. And get more wist time then my other watches. So.. the radiomir gmt will be my next one.
If only Panerai are priced alittle more reasonably they'll actually be worth collecting more than brands like IWC, Omega etc

The Stallone link to Panerai is a murky one…one story is he discovered it filming in Italy…another story, which i kind of agree with is that he got paid to use panerai in the movie and the whole story is fabricated…in any case its an interesting rabbit hole to go down!
I like the Radiomir because I’m not a huge fan of the crown guard, but if I ever got a Panerai I feel like I’d have to have the crown guard?
I like the look and the unmistakable case shape, but am turned off by the lack of minute tracks on the dial. I know, some don't use a watch to tell time anymore, but i still do. 😅
I think I remember Sylvester Stallone wears Panerai cause its an Italian brand and he is, of course, part Italian on his fathers side.

I love, love the considered look and history of the Panerai. However, the problem is that for the price, you could be getting Tudor or Omega and you can never be too sure if its a fake or not with all of the controversy recently. I think if Panerai debuted a new entry level tier using the ETA 6497 movement (beautiful and legendary durability), displaybacks, smaller cases and great lume I think they would do a lot better and occupy a unique place in the market.

Exactly. Just get one from the AD or at least a trusted dealer on Chrono. And besides, if I could choose between Tudor, Omega oder Panerai, I would always - without hesitating one second - grab the PAM.
Buy at an AD. There are display back models. There are smaller cases.

Panerai Submersible is my choice...
I love Panerai. I personally think the Luminor is their best looking watch overall, but I love military issued watches (especially milsubs), so the Radiomir has a special place in my mind.

I have two Submariners and a Datejust Wimbledon. I have an Omega Seamaster 300P and an Audemars RO Offshore Diver. And yet, I love my PAM00915 the most. Such a special piece. I catch myself looking at it several times a day. It‘s a watch I truly wear for myself.
Panerai stands on its own 🔥🔥
Who knows if I'll ever add one of these to my collection, but it'll have to be the quaranta for my small wrists.

Been going back and forth between IWC and Panerai as I'm really itching for a new watch lately. I used to own several then went Rolex / Omega and haven't added anything new. The size of the white Submersible isn't mentioned, is this model a 42mm? It's hard for even a former PAM enthusiast as myself to keep up with the references and new sizes.
My first Panerai PAM 162 purchased in 2003 and now 20 years on I’ve just added a new 1314 to my collection.
I LOVE a Submersible 025 as a weekend beater. That being said I also love a Radiomir when you want something to get more dressy with.
I’d be super interested in orient star watches , if you’re interested in looking. They just have a new model with zaratsu polish out

Luminor is my favourite. Still not sure about Panerai though. Still think they are generally to big for me. Love the videos.

The Pam127 is my absolute favourite, love the domed crystal of the 1950 collection but unfortunately I think my wrist is too small for most of them 47mm models to wear properly

That saddest thing about most Panerai watches is they aren’t waterproof, so much for their history as rhe Italian Navy Divers watch.
