You can just see link's face contemplating the fact that all those people he met are really just gone like he basically erased them from existence, but he feels some sort of relief seeing the wind fish knowing in the end he did also save them from the nightmares
I've always considered that most of the "people" were actually other creatures that were equally trapped in the dream of the Wind Fish, dreaming of being human. By ending Koholint, they were all set free to be what they were.
I have a strong nostalgic connection ot the original, and this remake is unnessecary to me. That said, if I was introducing it to a younger family member, this is the version I would give them.
This ending staff roll song is the PERFECT adaptation. It has the vision, it has the heart and the passion, beautifully composed, gives me chills every time. It sounds exactly like what the original wanted to be if it could. Can't change my mind.
Everytime I hear this song I must cry. The Ballad Of The Windfish itself is great, but Marin singing it, then you think about this world which is (was) beautiful, with all the villagers and, of course, Marin living inside. And in the end Link destroys everything. :'( At least Marin got her wish fulfilled.
It's an understatement when I say this game's orchestrations are something else, especially with the way 8-bit is meshed into a full orchestra at times throughout, including here. Ryo Nagamatsu knew exactly what he was doing with this credit roll sequence's music IMHO.
Link's awakening is a masterpiece I like the story bosses as well as that the link of the Koho island is different from the other links plus he relies on his own power and not the masters word or the triforce instead he uses the legendary koholit sword that attacks as well as shoots wave beams. I hope Nintendo puts this link to smash, he would be an excellent choice.
To anyone reading this, please repent and believe the gospel! There’s a loving God who wants to know you and save you. He died on the cross and resurrected so we can be forgiven of our sins and be saved. Please consider the state of your soul! Believe in Jesus and follow Him so you may have salvation. Life is short, please make the right choice today!
Was hoping they'd animate the ending to match the intro, and I'm so glad they did.
Wow! You finished the game!?
I never beat this game as a kid
Come on, the least the wind fish can do is give Link a ride home.
I love that in this version they made it just a little more clear that Marin got her wish ❤🥺😭
It had to be the wind fish who made her wish come true
Me too.
marins voice actress is making me have an existential crisis

@@TheTurnipKing Can wart travel through dreams? Is there a dream dimension that wind fish controls!?
@@Im_leaving heck, Wart lives in sub-con.
Dunno about the Wind Fish, though. Kind of a one off
Furthermore, the Wind Fish granted Marin's wish by turning her into a seagull.
The 8-bit tunes. make it the more nostalgic to listen to. This game is A Good remake.

I cried! Man! That brief tune in the middle of the song hit me hard.

This is my favorite end credits theme of all time
My son was so sad but happy at the end.
My kid is playing this for sure
One of my favorite non-Hyrule Link adventures. Still have the original Gameboy game. ☺️
Same. The non-color, „1989 Gameboy“ Game from 1993.
@@Phantom17685 it had colour, albeit shades of green 😊
1989 games from 1993 were the best!!
ah fuck, when it swaps to the old music, it kills me

I'm still not used to hearing the wind fish sound like an actual whale. I always expect the chirps
I enjoyed that game so much but the ending just made me cry from nostalgia.
One of the best Zelda and a great remake
As always, when watching this, and due to nostalgia, my breath changes, and while I sob, tears go down with no control.
This is why there should be an anime
The music part at 1:26 reminds me about Donkey Kong on SNES era...The soundtrack of this game, like how they rearranged it...it is wow!

"She's dead! God damn it!"- Sean Bean, Flight Plan.
This still may be one of the best credits music of any Zelda game. I don't think it's been topped.
not me making a sandwich while the staff credits play to wait for the bonus cutscene
Awake....
As beautiful as always
OUTSTANDING!
Man.. I really didn’t appreciate this when I first beat the game
Zelda show when?
