Just saying, your moving the camera around so much you can’t make out anything. I don’t understand why people make videos like this. I’m all for showing ideas, but when you can’t see what your doing it makes video useless. And it make me dizzy watching it.
I have the same kayak and want to do a similar trolling motor mount and steering. Can you make a video explaining more about your set up. Thank you for the awesome content.
This is an AWESOME video. What do you have attached to the motor and shaft? And what does it do? Is that what you say helps it steer better? I love your set up!!
@@SidZork01 Thanks Tony B. One more question, Does the whole set up track better and go faster with the motor at the rear? I had mine on the side last year and it works but it doesn't track or steer very well but maybe it's the kayak itself? I have the exact same one you have. They are AWESOME to fish on great kayak
Love your setup! I used ur design on my transom but Im making mine out of 1" thick cutting board and using 1"aluminum angle for the cross brace. Would love to see some details on motor switch box. Thank you sir
Awesome work but I will say there is a simpler solution if you don't mind using your hands to steer. I bought a 37 to 51 inch telescoping u-joint extension handle for my trolling motor on a 12 foot kayak. It still allows me to change the speeds, steer comfortably in both directions and is just long enough when extended at 51 inch when the motor handle is also extended. Saves a lot of engineering, space and weight.
@@SidZork01 that is true and definitely an advantage; I'd have to replace my foot holds, mine are several nonadjustable ones at different lengths and I must say I hate them
Where are you? Lol I noticed the ofah sticker. I'd love to do some motor mods this winter

Love your kayak, can’t wait to get one.
Catch 22. If we can catch a break, we can catch a fish. But there's a catch: fishing not allowed, for fear we catch this virus.
