- Three of the world's top ultra runners explored the border between the United States and Mexico and met the people who call it home. Mike Foote, Mario Mendoza and Mauricio Carvajal teamed up to make a journey across North America, stopping in Big Bend National Park, Tijuana and select destinations in between. Along the way they met cattle ranchers, members of Tohono O’odham Nation and runners from across two nations.

Does anyone know at what pace they run? I know that they walk about 40-50% of their ±100km but i'm very curious how fast they run if they do.

Depends how much drugs they are carrying.
Depends on the course. Anywhere from 6 min/mile to 12+ min/mile for 100k

I’ve done mountain biking along the fence and I constantly get stopped by the border patrol, they where kind and polite and asked me to leave the area because it is dangerous

Why are you running?
"If they knock on the door is it apprehension or checking in". If they come through a gate of entry, they are not apprehended. If they are caught running over the gate trying to pretend they have a right to be here, that is different.
Mainly, if they are legal immigrants, they are welcomed. If they do it criminally, they should be deported.

greylynnjr unless you’re getting them for free no. If you want good trail running shoes try hoka and altra. Salomon make some decent ones if you have a narrow foot.

These top ultra marathon runners only ran a few miles before jumping back into their van that was following them the whole time. Wheres is their backpack full of sleeping bags, tents, extra clothes food, water all the shit you need to hike 1,000 miles. Its in the van. nice propaganda though
