Not most people. Nor was it ever mentioned on this channel before now. ;) There was a Star Fox episode, but not a reality check of it. Or at least not one publicly known.
Tom looks like he really enjoyed your enthusiasm and he might be lonely without coaching/flying someone as, well, enthusiastic as you. Probably doesn't get much young people over there or anything.

Okay, so i am actually not in the past then, thanks. Kind of annoying having to check whether you're in a post-dead-point riftzone or not... :/ Also, Trump did 27-4.
@legofan jj @Salim Rabah @Volvirth Ah, okay. I had a strange deja vu feeling while watching this video. Around halfway through I was like "I'm sure I've seen this before." But now I KNOW I've seen it. Now we can be sure we're not in any sort of riftzone :)
Patrick Flores so matpat is a sell out because? what he had a youtube red series and a few sponsored videos. versus pewdiepie who oh yeah had a UA-cam red series and sponsored videos.
Three Tidy Stages Each birth is as unique as the baby it produces. But the "classic" vaginal childbirth is described by practitioners in three tidy stages: 1. First Stage: Dilation and Effacement of the Cervix a. early phase b. active phase c. transition phase 2. Second Stage: Pushing and Birth 3. Third Stage: Delivery of the Placenta How long does the whole process last? For first-time mothers, the average is 14 hours, though of course it can be much longer or much shorter. For moms who've given birth before, the average labor and delivery lasts around 8 hours. First Stage: Dilation and Effacement of the Cervix A. Early (or Latent) Phase -- cervix dilates from zero to three or four centimeters This first step in the journey toward childbirth lasts an average of 6 to 10 hours for a first-time mother, but can be much shorter (especially if you've given birth before) or much longer. What You May Experience: The beginnings of labor may be subtle or dramatic - and it happens differently in every woman. In some women, the cervix dilates to three centimeters well before any noticeable, real contractions (or labor) begin. Other women can have strong, contractions that don't change her cervical dilation at all. But, in general, the early phase brings some effacement (thinning and softening of the cervix) and dilation to three centimeters over a period of hours or days. Contractions can be mild and somewhat irregular, coming from 5 to 30 minutes apart, lasting 30 to 45 seconds. You might see some pinkish discharge and feel a bit of abdominal discomfort. The "water" may "break" (rupture of membranes) in this early phase, or this may happen later in the first or second stage, either on its own or with help from your practitioner. What You Can Do: The early phase of labor is sometimes (lightheartedly) called "the entertainment phase," because it's often helpful to focus your mind on other things so that you can pass the time without worrying about what's coming. As long as contractions are still relatively mild and spaced farther than five or so minutes apart, most women spend the time at home, and maintain close contact with their practitioner. If you're looking for something to do while waiting it out, try quiet, relaxing activities, such as listening to music, playing cards, or watching television. If you feel up to it, a short, leisurely walk would be fine, and might even help speed the labor along. B. Active Phase -- cervix dilates from four to seven centimeters This phase is when the serious prep work for childbirth begins, and when most women begin to labor more intensely. It can last an average of three to six hours for first babies, and about half that for subsequent births. What You May Experience: During the active phase, contractions usually come steadily, gradually increasing in intensity and frequency, from three to five minutes apart. Pains may be centered in the lower back, abdomen, or thighs, and they may be intense enough to make it hard for you to talk. You might also experience an increased amount of pinkish or brownish discharge, or what's sometimes called a "bloody show." What You Can Do: You should empty your bladder, drink fluids, and practice whatever breathing or relaxation techniques you learned during childbirth class. Rely on your labor partner to help and encourage you. Accept that it's normal to be nervous and even a little scared. If your practitioner okays it and the facilities are available, a warm shower may help you relax . If you choose to have an epidural, it's likely to be administered during this phase. (For more on this, see our ultimate guide to labor pain relief). C. Transition phase -- cervix dilates to eight to ten centimeters The final phase of the first stage can last 20 minutes to two hours for first babies, and may go quite quickly in subsequent births. What You May Experience: Contractions during this phase are usually intense, spaced about one to three minutes apart. Increasing fatigue, shakiness, and nausea are all common in this phase, as your body does the hard work of reaching complete dilation and effacement. You may feel a strong urge to push or bear down, along with pressure in the rectal area and stinging in the vaginal area as the baby's head moves down toward the vaginal opening. But you should NOT push -- wait until your practitioner gives you the go-ahead, which will happen when the cervix is fully dilated. What You Can Do: With the help of your labor partner, focus on those breathing and relaxation techniques that seem to be working best for you. If you have a very strong urge to push and it's not time yet to do so, medical staffers should be able to show you breathing techniques that can be helpful for resisting the urge. Don't worry if you feel like you're "losing control" -- it's perfectly normal to feel like you've gone a bit "haywire" in this phase. Remind yourself it won't be long now until you see your baby.
I still consider it a kick to the face of every Game theorist who was here since the very beginning. (I didn't know how to phrase it in a less mean way, I still love Game theory)
Sycom You...DO realize there are better channels than this piece of crap, yeah? Shoddycast and Vsause 3 got your edutainment right there and Extra Credits isn't half bad either.
i remember when the star fox episode came out. i can't believe how far this channel has came since i first started watching and subbed to it. keep up the good work, MatPat and company!
Thomas Brinkmann Reality Check was the series that sort of inspired Game Lab. It's very similar, testing out the logic of games in real life, except Reality Check wasn't produced by UA-cam, and therefore is not UA-camRed. This was an episode of Reality Check from ages ago that he never uploaded.
I really would love to go to this school, learn how to pilot a fighter craft. I wouldn't mind learning how to fly all types of planes because it would be a good knowledge to have in my opinion.

I've actually seen this before! I was a huge fan of your Reality Check series and was really glad it got to come back as Game Lab but yeah. I showed this one time my dad, as well as the Rainbow Six Siege one and he liked it XD. I can't get him into Game Grumps or Markiplier but your channel is one that we can all watch together and I love it! I can't remember what was my first video from you, probably the "What are creepers made of" video but I have been a subscriber for a long time now and I am so happy to see how far this channel has grown and am really excited to see where it will go in the coming years!
This channel is by far one of my all time favorites! Science rules! And Matt you and the team behind this channel really make science fun and extremely entertaining. :)
matt you have disapointed me soo much.I mean come on i allready have seen this video man why dont you just say ''we dont have an episode today but oh well no money for one day i guess''.You are just... now ı am going to unsubb but you now what i will not put my ''do an alioren'' roll t-shirt in to trash bin or burn my theorist phone case cause i care about them i cared about them ı cared about old you
I checked this out when it was on the other site, and I loved it so much that I watched it again. I wouldn't even know where to start if I got this type of opportunity. I'm glad that you got to experience this and share it with us, and I'm also glad that it finally made its way home!
Vincent Christopher was the founder of Fazbear Entertainment and creator of all the animatronics featured in Fazbear Entertainment. He had 2 sons named Max and Cameron. Max was very sensitive and would cry easily. Cameron bullied him because of this. Vincent, being the creator of the animatronics, usually kept some of the animatronics in his house. Cameron bullied Max by putting on one of his dad's animatronic masks and scaring him. However, Cameron quickly regretted being a bully on Max's 10th birthday party, Max had his party at Fredbear's Family Diner, and was injured by an animatronic because Cameron and his friends shoved him into the animatronics mouth. The animatronics SpringLocks loosened and "bit" Max, crushing his skull. The doctor had to perform a lobotomy in order for him to survive. And he did. Max was mysteriously was found dead in front of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (1987) a month later. Leaving only Vincent, and Cameron left in the family. This made Vincent almost give up with Fazbear Entertainment. But after 10 years, he wanted to make another restaurant to honor the death of his son. So he created Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1997. Even if it had a lower budget than the 1987 Freddy's had, he tried to make it as safe of a place as possible, so no one gets hurt. But after 6 years, 5 children went missing inside the pizzeria, and then less people started to come. Vincent was forced to shut the restaurant down in 2003. The next day, Vincent was not in the house. Nobody was able to find him, and Cameron moved into his mothers house until he grew up to be 19. This has made many people believe that all the restaurants Fazbear Entertainment has created to be haunted. (Which was the inspiration of Fazbear's Fright) Specifically the 1997 Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, which has remained longer than Fredbear's, the other Freddy's, or Fazbear's Fright. Even though it is closed.
Yeah, I hate to agree with you Matt, it seems like the competition will be tough. Congrats on so many levels though! regardless just being nominated is a huge honor! :D
Y'know, I'm marathon-ing all of these and after hearing about your fears of flying in that semi-recent video about fear: it occurs to me that this must have been a huge challenge for you in moving beyond those fears to the extent that you have. While the circumstances may not be the same as paranoia around entering a commercial airliner, this is still something I can see you visually trying to push down. Just wanted to take a moment to commend your bravery for the sake of entertaining your community and nerding out on Star Fox.
Im not going to lie, I got chills watching these. I've never seen footage like this before and getting to see one of my Favorite UA-camrs experience it and enjoy the hell out of it....ALL WHILE LEARNING, made this an incredible video. :D
UA-cam should keep giving you enough money to develop real life sinarios that give better physical data to accompany you and your staffs mathmatical and scientific analisys. keep up the amazing work guys! This is one of my favorite channels ever! Thanks.
I think you have more Subs than Phil, don't undersell yourself! I love your channel, but Phil is the reason I log onto youtube every day, so I gotta do the 100x for him, but I greatly appreciate you guys too!

Not the longest, but one of.
imagine if that long name was his password xD

24! Wow! It was a lot later into the series than I thought. I can still name the first 10 episodes from memory but after that it gets fuzzy.
5:26 Wow, this was when he had 3.5 million subscribers!
Before FNAF, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Wow, this was when game theory was actually good!

Stellar Potato at 5:27 you can see a fanf video

(Not sure if this would be game theory or film theory though)

Hey MatPat, the 26th Anniversary of the first F-Zero is coming up next month (Nov 21) and I noticed there isn't a single video on this, one of my favorite racing game series. So... How about something on the physics of the racing? How they could work in the real world? Or maybe is there a good conspiracy somewhere?
YES WE NEED AN F-ZERO THEORY
It's been at least 15 years since i last played that game. My theory is that those are ground effect aircrafts.
GrimFaceHunter
I was thinking Maglev, that or they do mention that the F-Zero Machines use G-Diffuser Technology (which was also mentioned in Star Fox: Assault in one of the many crossovers between those two games)
*****
In one of the opening cutscenes they mention the same G-Diffuser systems that are used in F-zero

Yeah, I could have sworn that there was another connection but for the life of me I can't remember.
I hate watching him interacting with people. It's just so cringe inducing.
Why?
I do too but only because I'm jealous I'll never meet MatPat
because it's so awkward because there is so much he wants to say and so little of it that relates to the pilot
I've met him. He's a little socially awkward too when not on a stage, but still a good guy. I got the vibe that he doesn't actually like talking to people when they can get near him.
Game Crow who?
I like how most of this episode is men playing with planes attached to sticks and waving them around..... still great though :D

I thought he was name dropping the name of the game he is doing a theory on

He knew we would think of FNAF. Think: new FNAF game comes out, "The most INFAMOUS multi-parter", "A little scary"
What are the chances?
I'm actually so jealous of MatPat, flying a plane is my DREAM
Don't worry. You'll be able to eventually if you just DO IT! JUST DO IT! DON'T LET YOUR PLANES BE UNFLIGHTED AND JUST DO IT!!
I was pretty jealous too, since I'm trying to become an airline pilot.
If I'm going to be honest, go for it. I'm actually working on a pilot's license right now. They're relatively inexpensive for the most part, and there's an entire field of career options to go with it.

At least career-wise.
Sara Sweets, I don't know about that. At least where I live (Brazil), you can be a civilian pilot even with just one eye. If you do good on your lessons and tests, I'm pretty sure there is no reason for an air company to turn you down.
Mat Pat please do a theory about why Nintendo hasnt already revealed the NX and what they are aiming for by not revealing it
To build up a Hype around to, to get as much people as possible to buy it. Simple as that
Well, throw that theory away ;)
Patrick Rain it worked. The Hype is there ;)
Congratulations MatPat! You just disproved your own theory!
I'd say that's a pretty cool thing to do honestly

Ah, okay. I had a strange deja vu feeling while watching this video. Around halfway through I was like "I'm sure I've seen this before." But now I KNOW I've seen it. Now we can be sure we're not in any sort of riftzone :)
Matpat hasn't made a Sister location theory, let's motivate him with a controlled shock.
If people like this for no reason, i will lose faith in youtube commets.
But what if their reason for liking is to try and make you lose faith in youtube comments?
there is a reason, to do what you told us not to. THE REBELLION IS KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR
You mean you have't lost it already? Good job, but I am afraid that ends here.
You know, i swear people will like anything now.
Lose faith now.
Hmm. "Do an Aileron Roll!" just doesn't have the same ring to it, even if it IS technically the true name for the maneuver...-_-;
#WhereIsDoctorWhoPart3? I don't even remember what it was going to be about, but you promest a part 3 and I'm still waiting!
MatPat how dare you have a life! Who needs Peru? WE WANT THEORIES
Does this mean he will finally do DOCTOR WHO part three?!?!?!?!?!
:(
That's what I thought but then I realised it's a different channel :(
besides he said *infamous*... my mind goes to FNAF... or undertale
Undertale isn't a 2 part video. I'm going with Luigi and Peach are Rosalinda's parents.
Or Mario is mental
Peppy: Do a barrel roll!!!
fox: THATS NOT A BARREL ROLL YOU LIE TO ME PEPPY!!!
Remember, you can vote for matpat 100 times a day
USe PhillyD's idea against him XD
How do you do that? I want to do it!
Dicks Out For Rick Harrison cuz this is his Pawn Shop
I love how Matt is putting all this effort to give us all these information and all that people are concerned about is if he is social or not
I literally just watched a reality check episode the other day
7million congrats but tbh u should have more than pewdiepie
isn't he still a few thousand short.
Rert 78 pewdiepie has like 40 million XD
Kiwi Chaos I meant a few thousand short of 7 mill
Rert 78 o
Patrick Flores so matpat is a sell out because? what he had a youtube red series and a few sponsored videos. versus pewdiepie who oh yeah had a UA-cam red series and sponsored videos.
I believe a theory over the identity and release of Sombra from Overwatch would make for a very nice video, and a very nice challenge.
I saw it back when it came out on Field Day's channel.
Me too
Found it by accident even 😂
Yup. I was searching for more reality check and found this in a playlist.
Ohhhh crap. Who am I going to vote for.... Game theory orrrrrr GMM.
Well I'm gonna vote for Dave
*Dave's boss faints*
I was thinking the exact same thing...
Im gonna vote for my pet named steve
Three Tidy Stages
Each birth is as unique as the baby it produces. But the "classic" vaginal childbirth is described by practitioners in three tidy stages:
1. First Stage: Dilation and Effacement of the Cervix
a. early phase
b. active phase
c. transition phase
2. Second Stage: Pushing and Birth
3. Third Stage: Delivery of the Placenta
How long does the whole process last? For first-time mothers, the average is 14 hours, though of course it can be much longer or much shorter. For moms who've given birth before, the average labor and delivery lasts around 8 hours.
First Stage: Dilation and Effacement of the Cervix
A. Early (or Latent) Phase -- cervix dilates from zero to three or four centimeters
This first step in the journey toward childbirth lasts an average of 6 to 10 hours for a first-time mother, but can be much shorter (especially if you've given birth before) or much longer.
What You May Experience:
The beginnings of labor may be subtle or dramatic - and it happens differently in every woman.
What You Can Do:
The early phase of labor is sometimes (lightheartedly) called "the entertainment phase," because it's often helpful to focus your mind on other things so that you can pass the time without worrying about what's coming.
B. Active Phase -- cervix dilates from four to seven centimeters
This phase is when the serious prep work for childbirth begins, and when most women begin to labor more intensely. It can last an average of three to six hours for first babies, and about half that for subsequent births.
What You May Experience:
During the active phase, contractions usually come steadily, gradually increasing in intensity and frequency, from three to five minutes apart. Pains may be centered in the lower back, abdomen, or thighs, and they may be intense enough to make it hard for you to talk. You might also experience an increased amount of pinkish or brownish discharge, or what's sometimes called a "bloody show."
What You Can Do:
You should empty your bladder, drink fluids, and practice whatever breathing or relaxation techniques you learned during childbirth class.
C. Transition phase -- cervix dilates to eight to ten centimeters
The final phase of the first stage can last 20 minutes to two hours for first babies, and may go quite quickly in subsequent births.
What You May Experience:
Contractions during this phase are usually intense, spaced about one to three minutes apart.
What You Can Do:
With the help of your labor partner, focus on those breathing and relaxation techniques that seem to be working best for you.
The Annoying Salad That one dude on the Internet
I THINK THE NEW EPISODE IS THE DOCTOR WHO ONE FINALLY
I REMEMBER WHEN THIS WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED!!! lol it feels like forever ago
Matpat already knew the "barrel roll" was actually called "Allerton roll"
THERE IS A T- SHIRT ABOUT IT FFS
Still nice Video :)
I guess he wanted to keep the video self-contained instead of adding clips of other videos?
I still consider it a kick to the face of every Game theorist who was here since the very beginning.
(I didn't know how to phrase it in a less mean way, I still love Game theory)
Sycom You...DO realize there are better channels than this piece of crap, yeah? Shoddycast and Vsause 3 got your edutainment right there and Extra Credits isn't half bad either.
Yeah, I am subscribed to every channel you mentioned but I still love Game Theory.
Game Theory's better than Vsauce 3 and I don't even know what Shoddycast is. Vsauce 3 is good though.
i remember when the star fox episode came out. i can't believe how far this channel has came since i first started watching and subbed to it. keep up the good work, MatPat and company!
i've seen this before though matt
i saw this on ur channel
CumberCube yup
he says it is a rerun in the beginning
I don't know who to choose: rhett & link or matpat...
*chanting* MATPAT, MATPAT, MATPAT *keeps chanting until I die*
I'm too lazy to vote but if I wasn't, I'd vote gmm fho sho.
Philly D.
McJuggerNuggets
he's not an option from the two
God, I love seeing how much this channel has grown. I've watched it since the sixth episode and I know just about every theory by heart.
Doesn't This Belong In GameLab
Thomas Brinkmann He did this over a year before even the concept of GameLab existed.
Well actually this is basically the origin of GameLab as he said, this IS the concept at work
Chernobyl Yeah, but he had another Reality Check episode out about Rainbow Six Siege, so technically that episode is the original concept.
I grouped this and the rainbow 6 seige together as the origin, they happened right after watch other and were what drove him to make GameLab
I wouldn't mind learning how to fly all types of planes because it would be a good knowledge to have in my opinion.
the question is would you need it?
Why wouldn't you?
It could be an elective class.

The annoying salad
WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?!?
It tells you how to actually give birth the right way, it is really important that people know this.
The Annoying Salad
This is the wrong venue for that. irrelevant so it's unimportant to this audience

I checked this out when it was on the other site, and I loved it so much that I watched it again. I wouldn't even know where to start if I got this type of opportunity. I'm glad that you got to experience this and share it with us, and I'm also glad that it finally made its way home!
"In the name of science...yeehawww!"
...Would be some pretty epic last words, very fitting for Matpat, lol!
This is probably my favorite episode ever that Mat has done. Great job!! I love flying. I wish I could fly in a little plane like that too!!
Day 1 of asking mat to bring this series back
Yeah, I hate to agree with you Matt, it seems like the competition will be tough. Congrats on so many levels though! regardless just being nominated is a huge honor! :D
Congratulations on winning two of the four, I voted for Game Theorists for show of the year. Here's to you winning #matpatforthewin
Dude, you are a total genius, you deserve the nomination and subs
I just put in my 100 votes for Game Theorists on Streamys! Best of luck to you, I hope you guys win this one! 😊
It's bloody awesome flying isn't it
I always thought the G-Diffuser was there to help the pilots avoid G-LOC; but the way it was explained during the somersault/loop sequence made sense.
What an awesome mission you had Mat! Very fun to test stuff like this! Wish this was a high School period!
That looked AMAZING! I think I just added something new to my bucket list.
Wow! I can only say Congratulation for this video, especially for your experience as a guest pilot!
Do this for a video!
Reality Vid: Do cars have the correct materials to turn into a robot from transformers?
Omg I can see MatPat taking deep breaths as the jet takes off lol I would be crying tho
Congratulations on winning a subject award for gaming at the Streamys!
holy crap! I haven't watched this channel in a while... holy production values batman!!!
Seeing Matt so excited made me so happy xD I'm glad he got to do this~
You can tell matpat was terrified as they were going up bc he kept himself calm by taking deep breaths and closing his eyes
Im not going to lie, I got chills watching these. I've never seen footage like this before and getting to see one of my Favorite UA-camrs experience it and enjoy the hell out of it....ALL WHILE LEARNING, made this an incredible video. :D
Its great that this concept eventually evolved in MatPat's Game Lab
UA-cam should keep giving you enough money to develop real life sinarios that give better physical data to accompany you and your staffs mathmatical and scientific analisys. keep up the amazing work guys! This is one of my favorite channels ever! Thanks.
Matpat was corrected on how a barrel roll is actually an aileron roll, but he is the one who explained that to us a few years ago
Can you do a theory for 'The uncle who works for nintendo'?
Congrats on winning best Gaming and 360/VR at the streamys!!
I think you have more Subs than Phil, don't undersell yourself! I love your channel, but Phil is the reason I log onto youtube every day, so I gotta do the 100x for him, but I greatly appreciate you guys too!
No distractions in Tom's life
Did you know it takes you about 81 days to count to 7000000 if you would increase the number with 1 every second?
OMG! Good for You guys! Best of luck, guys. You totally deserve to win!
