Thank you for this very informative video on the basics of winching! I feel that I will be much better at estimating, not guesstimating, the requirements while attempting a recovery. I have also used a kinetic recovery rope and soft shackles on occasions when winching and I would like to know your thoughts on those items. I am interested in methods to anchor the winching vehicle while recovering another. I have both front and rear mounted winches. BTW... I have your RBO Expedition rack on my 2019 General 4 1000 and love it. It provides a method to secure your trail gear when the door and gate are closed. I'll be ordering that shovel.
