Too many people think that they watch a 20 minute video and you find all the stuff in 20 minutes. It is good to show that there are days we don't find anything. That's what keeps the adreniline going. Great video.
Get a plastic cap to go over excess thread on bolt or hacksaw it off so you don't rip your leg open on the thread,just for safety reasons ,it's nice to see you again.
The low tide areas have been "sanded in" after the last storms. l was at CWB and found piles of beaver tails from the 70's that recently showed up in the low lying dry sand near hotels. Found some coins in umbrella line, but, like you nothing in water. l am a White's fan and would love to see a White's dual field pi tested in the same location. My youngerst son eased my disappointment of having not found a target by saying "If it's not there you can't find it". LOL. Keep up the good work. ;-)
I believe it. I still can't believe I didn't find even a bottle cap. Really strange. Wow really? That's crazy! Yea, I've pretty much given up on water hunting in CWB. Never find anything. :( Yea, I really loved their MX Sport. :) I'll add that to the list of machines to try. :) Lol! That's a really good point! But I would think something was there. Had to be.... :(
Thanks for the review, sorry you didn't find any treasure. You're honest about your finds and that's one of the things I like about you, sometimes I see videos that look staged and that is a turn off. Also I like the way you show and explain what you have done to make your equipment work for you. Keep up the good work

Suggestion: Take samples of what you hope to find and setup the controls for maximum response in the places you'll detect (woods, dry sand, wet sand, fresh or salt water).

You really need a bigger coil... Try the ctx 3030 with the 17" coil and forget about trash. I bet You will find more gold. I have a few videos showing the performances of the ctx and I show a lot of gold and platinum targets too. You have very nice videos GL ¬ HH

Good try, if I could suggest next time you are testing a machine and don't get any hits, grab you garrett mx and redo the same area and see if it's the machine or just no targets. Looking forward to seeing what you test next. GL&HH
I think I would attach weights to the beach hunter and throw overboard lol, must be a bad machine you tested. I love my new white mx sport and I cant believe whites would make a bad machine, but to me I don't like that machine at all. love you videos and honest evaluations, your why I bought my mx sport, trex, land and sea pinpointer, and I love them all, and kellyco and gold diggers people are great to deal with. oh and I love my golddigger pouch as well. thank you keep it up. Enjoyed the video , as usual. Too bad you didn't have your Excal with you so you could hunt the same area that you hunted with the Beach Hunter. It's "possible" that there really were no targets, and your Excal would have confirmed that...or would have found the Beach Hunter lacking. Perhaps on some future hunt, you might try using your test detector, followed up by using your Excal...maybe an hour hunt using both detectors over the same area( sorta like your video when you employed your super duper scientific approach in comparing 3 detectors over several of the same planted targets.) Nevertheless...keep up the good work! And thanks for sharing your experiences.

My configuration TDI Sl for the beach : Super machine . Garret ATX for shallow waters . Garrett seahunter mark2 for deep waters . I love all these machines and can recognize iron on each one of them . Tecnetics 19 MHz G2upg and 33ultimate coil for very trash infested inland aeras The BH must be a very good one as well ! I think that the BH is a all in one outstanding good machine. So now you have to learn where ,, and how to hunt ! if you want to definetly kill the beach . Or most probably I did it already anyway .... ladies and gentlemen ....😙😙😙😚😘

Hahaha. Yep. That was the only target I found. I was in the water for 2 hours and found nothing! I found that nickel when I was leaving the water and walking back to the car. :(
I actually really enjoy the Raptor handle but I wanted to try the new handle without it first. I wanted to see what the new handle was like just by itself. I'll probably do one more hunt without it and then put it back on. :)
I usually will throw down a nickel in the sand and check my detector from that , if a detector detects a nickel it's working ! Happy detecting I love your Vids ......
Nice video SD, I'm still yet to use my Excal II, I also still need to get my hunting buddy to attach my handle on my T-Rex scoop, that thing doesn't wanna go in easily lol

Thx for the tip, had Easter this past weekend then a funeral the weekend before so it's been crazy busy unfortunately but will try to get him to get my scoop put together this week so I can get out this weekend w/ it, I'm ready to try it out, lots of tourists here now & it's starting to get hot, our beaches are getting more crowded each weekend =)

Hum, well compared to the AT Pro I found this machine a bit easier to use. This machine was great in the dry sand and in the wetish stuff. I didn't like hunting in all metal while in the water. This machine was very chattery. :( Oh that's great! The AT Pro is great on the dry sand. Not so good in saltwater but it's hard to find land machine that are.
Hi great videos. Can i make a suggestion for a next detector to test i have the DetectorPro Underwater with 8" coil and i am very happy with the results but the DetectorPro Underwater 12" is even better. Hopefully you wil give it a go.👍😀
Hahaha, yes. I'll swing over Rex to make sure the machine is still on and working because sometimes I do wonder. I like hunting in zero threshold so when it's quiet for too long it gets concerning.
That's awesome! I don't know. I've found stuff in the water with it before but the past two hunt, nothing. I check the batteries each time too so I don't think they are bad. I don't know. :/
I'm not sure. Someone said it could have been sanded in. That could have been the case. If so, I don't think another machine would have done much better. :(
I posted a reply on your other video of this detector. I am 99% sure the detector you have/had was a defective one. I have had the same problems with one of these machines. I know what you are talking about with the nulling sounding target hit that you were talking about. That machine has a bad coil.
I can tell you guys : whites TDI SL and BH are the best everyday beach machines in the world . I can tell you this as I also have got the Garret ATX and Seahunter mark2 . On the beach guys you have to learn when and where to hunt guys . I did my best finds with my PI machines as they are much more sensitive on tiny gold . No Vlf nor the even the new multifrequences machines can compete with the high end PI machines whites or Garret . If you do not have much money: buy a seahunter mark 2 with the grey ghost headphones and the big 14 inch coil .The seahunter is a absolute monoton beach killer with the 14 inch coil: (important) . You will have to overcome a learning curve to be able to recognize iron from a good sound . But after that it is a pure pleasure and unbeatable gold killer ! If you want the best all in one machine ever made on planet Earth : then buy the whites TDI BH . This machine can do it all on the beach in the water and of course inland . I know them all very well and hunt on a very daily basis . If you want an extremely sensitive machine on very very tiny gold : Choose TDI BH or SL or Garret ATX and hunt very specific places on the beach ....(I won't tell you how when nor where ) ... And you will find what nobody can ever hear with a classical machine .... So there is a lot left behind guys ... And of course a lot to learn about beach hunting .... I never ever come back from hunting with nothing !!!! Garrett ATX is slightly better but very heavy . So I prefer my TDI SL or my tecnetics G2 for inland gold hunting . I hope this helps . My daily first choice machine on the beach is my TDI !!!!!! If you do come back with nothing on the beach ,then analyse why ..... I love beach hunting because I will always find what only a few beachunters can find ....

Oh wow you have the 3030? From what I hear that's about as good as they get! Hehehe. I love the Excal. I've found EVERY ring with the Excal so far. :) I took it out over the weekend and hunted entirely in pin point/all metal. It's a wonderful machine for sure and perfect for water hunting of all kinds. :)

Too early for tourists in the water???? I have used my bhid tons in fresh water swimming areas and done very well, at the beach you must ground balance correctly where your hunting in the water...those led lights are spot on most id's, except pull tabs, bottle caps and TRASH will not lock on yellow or blue but will bounce around, iron, junk, cell phones,Sun glasses, and watches will sound different and give a red or yellow red flicker, if it's louder than others dig, it's Sun glasses or a watch...any silver is most always a solid blue led and high tone, great for chest mount for guys, look straight down to see id's shaded by your hat, most accurate and deepest for water is Minelab, excal or ctx ....deepest in wet,dry sand is xp deus...keep at it, I think you'll get a bunch of rings this year with your experience you've gained, remember if there's more people there's more rings...glhh
Depends on the tourist. The ones from way up north are in the water with no problem. They are crazy! Hahaha. Yea, I always check the ground balance but for the most part, it's pretty close to zero at my beaches. That's great advise! Thanks!
Hey She Detector... I told you before..... Its a Whites product... It can't find its way out of a wet paper bag..... If you had a planet made of iron. It would never find it. You will have more success sifting through the sand with your feet than with a Whites device. Sorry, just my 2 cents. Its Kinda like Kelly Co never ending saga) in Orlando... Nothing but a bad experience.. Lol!! It's funny you mention that. After I finished hunting over the weekend we were all just relaxing at the island. I was digging my feet into the sand and pushed my foot up. What comes up? A tent stake! Hahaha. I found a tent stake...with my FOOT! Too funny. Hum, well I'm sorry to hear that. :( But at least you can laugh about it. :)
Definitely I’m not trying to be mean but it looks like you don’t get to know the machine before you make these videos this is happened and a lot of your videos with a lot of machines I watched a couple videos on this machine which I have and I was able to set the settings no chatter and find signals that are hard hitting them on mistakable hits

It might not make to big a difference but the thing I worry about with it how it currently is, it could pick up the metal from the box up near your hand. Whites in general and TDI SL and BH is a very good brand . Much better than excals on the beach ... Garrett atx is the very best . Garrett seahunter mark2 with 14 inches coil and grayghost headphones is the best beach killer for the buck ! I have got them all and believe me I sterylise any beach in the world with them . Excal or any multifrequencies are a mere toy against them.... You will never hear fine chains , nor earnings nor deep gold with these minelabs . Learn how where when to hunt before you do a review on a beach machine .. If you do not find anything on a beach ,then you should think over your hunting strategy ...

If you are testing out a machine and don't find anything, take the opportunity to do some depth and discrimination tests, at least show us how deep a detector can get a gold ring or something. Show us if it can get a gold ring next to a nail. Then see if it can disc. out a rusty bottle cap, etc. etc. Make the video interesting, don't just not find anything and then talk for 10 minutes about how you didn't find anything but the detector was ok. Remember that test you did with the cz, excal and sea hunter? Do something like that for each detector you test out. Really show us what a detector can do. You should consider getting certified in SCUBA and detecting a wreck site or going deeper at a sand bar. Your beaches are not producing, time to move on to better spots!
That's a good idea! I've done that in the past. I compared a few machines to my Sea Hunter and Excal. Oh I've been looking into that! I'm very excited to do it. Hopefully this summer. :D

You should rinse your scoop with fresh-water straight away, saltwater will do the same as what happened to the wooden handle.
Oh yes, I always rinse off all my gear after a hunt. Shoes and gloves too! Hahaha. Then I hang everything up to air dry.

I was curious if you don't like to use the raptor handle or if it doesn't fit on the new carbon fiber pole?
I actually really enjoy the Raptor handle but I wanted to try the new handle without it first. I wanted to see what the new handle was like just by itself. I'll probably do one more hunt without it and then put it back on. :)

Yea I don't know. It's found stuff before. I know the batteries were good. Someone said maybe it was sanded in. Could have been. Not sure though. :/
I usually will throw down a nickel in the sand and check my detector from that , if a detector detects a nickel it's working ! Happy detecting I love your Vids ......

Thx for the tip, had Easter this past weekend then a funeral the weekend before so it's been crazy busy unfortunately but will try to get him to get my scoop put together this week so I can get out this weekend w/ it, I'm ready to try it out, lots of tourists here now & it's starting to get hot, our beaches are getting more crowded each weekend =)

Hum, well compared to the AT Pro I found this machine a bit easier to use. This machine was great in the dry sand and in the wetish stuff. I didn't like hunting in all metal while in the water. This machine was very chattery. :( Oh that's great! The AT Pro is great on the dry sand. Not so good in saltwater but it's hard to find land machine that are.

Can i make a suggestion for a next detector to test i have the DetectorPro Underwater with 8" coil and i am very happy with the results but the DetectorPro Underwater 12" is even better.

Hahaha, yes. I'll swing over Rex to make sure the machine is still on and working because sometimes I do wonder. I like hunting in zero threshold so when it's quiet for too long it gets concerning.

I'm not sure. Someone said it could have been sanded in. That could have been the case. If so, I don't think another machine would have done much better. :(
I posted a reply on your other video of this detector. I am 99% sure the detector you have/had was a defective one. I have had the same problems with one of these machines. I know what you are talking about with the nulling sounding target hit that you were talking about. That machine has a bad coil.
I can tell you guys : whites TDI SL and BH are the best everyday beach machines in the world . I can tell you this as I also have got the Garret ATX and Seahunter mark2 .
On the beach guys you have to learn when and where to hunt guys . I did my best finds with my PI machines as they are much more sensitive on tiny gold .
No Vlf nor the even the new multifrequences machines can compete with the high end PI machines whites or Garret .
If you do not have much money: buy a seahunter mark 2 with the grey ghost headphones and the big 14 inch coil .The seahunter is a absolute monoton beach killer with the 14 inch coil: (important) . You will have to overcome a learning curve to be able to recognize iron from a good sound . But after that it is a pure pleasure and unbeatable gold killer ! If you want the best all in one machine ever made on planet Earth : then buy the whites TDI BH . This machine can do it all on the beach in the water and of course inland .
I know them all very well and hunt on a very daily basis .
If you want an extremely sensitive machine on very very tiny gold : Choose TDI BH or SL or Garret ATX and hunt very specific places on the beach ....(I won't tell you how when nor where ) ... And you will find what nobody can ever hear with a classical machine .... So there is a lot left behind guys ... And of course a lot to learn about beach hunting ....

Garrett ATX is slightly better but very heavy . So I prefer my TDI SL or my tecnetics G2 for inland gold hunting .

hey She D, I am thinking about getting an underwater detector, I have the CTX3030 already but want one just for the water, was thinking about the excal II but just wanted your or anyone else's opinion, looking nice out there at the moment
Oh wow you have the 3030? From what I hear that's about as good as they get! Hehehe. I love the Excal. I've found EVERY ring with the Excal so far. :) I took it out over the weekend and hunted entirely in pin point/all metal. It's a wonderful machine for sure and perfect for water hunting of all kinds. :)
Thanks She D, yes the 3030 is a good machine but difficult in water and very very heavy, and quite a complicated little number, after a while it becomes a bit of a pain, I have heard good things about the Excal and you seem to be doing ok with it on your posts, I am heading to Barbados for a holiday soon and want to try out a new one there, thanks for the heads up, better get to ordering the machine now LOL.
Too early for tourists in the water???? I have used my bhid tons in fresh water swimming areas and done very well, at the beach you must ground balance correctly where your hunting in the water...those led lights are spot on most id's, except pull tabs, bottle caps and TRASH will not lock on yellow or blue but will bounce around, iron, junk, cell phones,Sun glasses, and watches will sound different and give a red or yellow red flicker, if it's louder than others dig, it's Sun glasses or a watch...any silver is most always a solid blue led and high tone, great for chest mount for guys, look straight down to see id's shaded by your hat, most accurate and deepest for water is Minelab, excal or ctx ....deepest in wet,dry sand is xp deus...keep at it, I think you'll get a bunch of rings this year with your experience you've gained, remember if there's more people there's more rings...glhh
Depends on the tourist. The ones from way up north are in the water with no problem. They are crazy! Hahaha. Yea, I always check the ground balance but for the most part, it's pretty close to zero at my beaches. That's great advise! Thanks!

I told you before..... Its a Whites product... It can't find its way out of a wet paper bag..... If you had a planet made of iron. It would never find it. You will have more success sifting through the sand with your feet than with a Whites device.

Lol!! It's funny you mention that. After I finished hunting over the weekend we were all just relaxing at the island. I was digging my feet into the sand and pushed my foot up. What comes up? A tent stake! Hahaha. I found a tent stake...with my FOOT! Too funny. Hum, well I'm sorry to hear that. :( But at least you can laugh about it. :)

Definitely I’m not trying to be mean but it looks like you don’t get to know the machine before you make these videos this is happened and a lot of your videos with a lot of machines I watched a couple videos on this machine which I have and I was able to set the settings no chatter and find signals that are hard hitting them on mistakable hits

It might not make to big a difference but the thing I worry about with it how it currently is, it could pick up the metal from the box up near your hand. This might make it a bit more chattery then normal. You may notice a difference, you may not. :)

Whites in general and TDI SL and BH is a very good brand . Much better than excals on the beach ... Garrett atx is the very best . Garrett seahunter mark2 with 14 inches coil and grayghost headphones is the best beach killer for the buck ! I have got them all and believe me I sterylise any beach in the world with them . Excal or any multifrequencies are a mere toy against them.... You will never hear fine chains , nor earnings nor deep gold with these minelabs . Learn how where when to hunt before you do a review on a beach machine .. If you do not find anything on a beach ,then you should think over your hunting strategy ...

If you are testing out a machine and don't find anything, take the opportunity to do some depth and discrimination tests, at least show us how deep a detector can get a gold ring or something. Show us if it can get a gold ring next to a nail. Then see if it can disc. out a rusty bottle cap, etc. etc. Make the video interesting, don't just not find anything and then talk for 10 minutes about how you didn't find anything but the detector was ok. Remember that test you did with the cz, excal and sea hunter? Do something like that for each detector you test out. Really show us what a detector can do. You should consider getting certified in SCUBA and detecting a wreck site or going deeper at a sand bar. Your beaches are not producing, time to move on to better spots!
That's a good idea! I've done that in the past. I compared a few machines to my Sea Hunter and Excal. Oh I've been looking into that! I'm very excited to do it. Hopefully this summer. :D
