It was my pleasure to meet this Mr Dennis Dickson and gets amazing experience in bourkina faso exhibition . Miss those memories days . I lose the contact with him long time ago. Hope his fine God bless him and his family
I'm in Western Australia (very hot ground) I know whites came out with a pro oz series but you can't get those anymore. How does the SL differ from the oz series?
If your technique for tone distinction is high caliber, then any machine will find treasure..but yes there specific type of machines, happy hunting-& huge nugs
David - the SL with the stock coil might be a little less deep than the Pro, but with a Miner John or OZ coil you should get a bit better performance in certain areas
We have heard of users doing this- the "official" word from us is that using the suggested battery packs is best. Unofficially, you might get an extra few cm's with a hot-rod battery pack, but it's at your own risk.
The TDI SL is stable as a rock . This is according vto me much more important than just pure power . Thanks to the threshold stability you will hear the faintest whisper of a target coming from very deep . Put your GB off if possible and you will notice that you can hear a gold ring up to 16 inches . The pro does not go deeper than 18 inches in the same conditions and will require from you much more concentration because of random chatting. This kills me after a while ... So according to me the SL is a good evolution .
Great video. They're 100% right, not only does Whites make a great detector, but the service department is beyond belief. Too bad the rest of the country can't get it together like Whites. They treat you like family, and care about having happy customers.
there is basically no difference over or under...i have found a gold pendant at the beach in a pocket at low tide UNDER a Hot Rock [ rock was about the size of a fist doubled ] with my TDI SL
Great video. The TDI's attributes are well demonstrated here. This is one heck of a prospecting machine! 2 thumbs up White's...

Wow 40 years at one company and now the company is no more.
best customer service ever..
Hey' don't those Minerjohn designs coils perform on the TDI' good little demo guys! Excellent machine even here in Australia.
+Lukeozdigger Thanks for the kudos. A lot of folks like the Miner John coils on the TDI. The TDI was built for the tough conditions down in oz.

& the Razorback coils, they run well on the SPP down here, even better with connectivity switch added.
Is a GMT good for tailings.

I miss writing stories on the website

thanks for the reply....if someone were to use a modified battery pack can the tdi sl take 14.4v and get better depth like the tdi pro ???

Because they run it like traditional Americans; the clue is in the name.
Damn straight,my prizm 4, is a fine machine,I've found plenty of keepers.
Had no idea, interesting.
It would be more interesting, if they placed the gold nugget under the hot rock .. will detect it ..?
