Really love how you are so fully immersed in the battle and how you react on everything that happens. Lucky mortar shot: "Oh my god what a fantastic hit!" Unlucky one third time on a row: "OH NO! Curses!" It is also nice how you are elated on all good hits, even your opponents. Have had my first couple of games under my belt with my germans and soviets and I can really relate on those lucky sixes and all the ones.

Well done! It seems like you lost mostly due to some key dice rolls not going your way. I think I would have been more aggressive with positioning the AVRE to get both weapon systems firing off. And forcing the 88 to leave your inf alone (though he did struggle to hit anyway) Other then that I would have probably gotten the same result. Very enjoyable game, love seeing these bat raps! Keep it up!
For me a 3+ to hit with the big gun is always worth staying stationary, but I get where you are coming from! As long as you can try to keep 2+pins on any big gun you should be relatively safe is my general rule of thumb, I need to do a video on artillery tactics asap!
