  • In this video I unbox the new US Army Rangers from Bolt Action's Warlord Games. I also give a painting tutorial so you can get your miniatures up to a tabletop standard. I am not an artist. Just a fellow hobbyist sharing what I love.

Great paint job thanks. Just ordered my first BA figures as that Rangers box blew me away, thanks for the paint guide.
What basing material did you use? Really like how it complements the paintjob

@@craigcameron3378 awesome! It’s just some random sand/grit that I’ve mixed together. Kinda wish I knew myself! At this point it has been mixed in a bag for years.

Great vid! Quick question? Do they have heads for all the actors? I only saw Hanks and Barry Pepper.

There are 6. Captain Miller, Privates Caparzo, Mellish, Jackson. PFC Reiben and Technical Sergeant Horvath. Pause at 1:09 to see them.

Armypaintet Speedpaint Hardened Leather is my go to for leather parts.

Yep! I did the rest of the squad with Hardened Leather. The Ruddy Fur was just too light imo.

@@MiniatureGameMontagethe one thing I will do different (besides apply the paint totally unevenly, bleed over lines, and generally suck compared to you) is use a dark grey on metal parts. Metal was oxidized or parkerized to prevent it from being shiny and drawing attention on the battlefield. Even knife and bayonet blades were darkened except for the cutting surface.
