Chester was, alongside Rob Halford, the greatest male vocalist our genre had when you're talking about versatility, power, consistency, and one of the greatest vocal melody writers to boot. That's a celebrity death that just keeps hurting for me. 😢
Unfortunately he passed on my Bday, July 20th. Chris Cornells voice is haunting. Like a stone is one of the best songs ive heard.

My absolute favorite song is the little things give you away. Live version was so unbelievable strong. His voice was a gift. The song started slow and quiet and then it went loud and powerful 💜

you should react to some of her music for a change, let her show you what shes into. It might be eye opening. Or find something that is similar to what she likes, but she doesn't know about. Its much more engaging to watch her enjoy the music, like the Depeche Mode video.

Its noone's fault if not like this or that, I discovered Linkin Park again after Chester passed away, and I had to listened their songs to realize deeply the greatness of LP to myself.

You are great, guys. It’s nice to see such a strong bond between father and a daughter. I watch couple of your videos and I was hoping to see Linkin Park here. In my opinion it was a good choice to play “Numb/Encore” as an introduction to LP’s music. There is a huge variety of the songs which she might like. Would be nice to see more of this 🙂 here’s an idea, let’s she play some of her favorite songs and you (father) can review them?

What shocked me the most is that theres a guy in this tribute band that LOOKS like Chester when on stage AND SINGS LIKE CHESTER... his voice is SO SO SO close to Chesters voice it gives me chills.

Dude, y'all seriously need to watch Ghost Love Score with Floor Jansen Live. I saw it for my first time last night and have seen it about 30 times already. What never makes sense is how anyone can say we all hear things differently, because it's not as true as claimed. Yeah, if two people have the exact same hearing test done, one might raise their hand when they hear any given sound that the other person doesn't hear - and vice versa. However, there's some other factors with sound.
Here's how this is relevant here...
Annie says this "doesn't really sound like rock" - but the song "Numb" itself , exactly, is literally there. It seems like half, if not more, in this version, is overtaken by Jay-Z. rapping "Encore."
Regarding a hearing test... it's a series of high(er) and low(er) pitched sounds, which we hear differently. There are sounds so high that the human ear doesn't hear, but other animals do.
However... as per music genres, it's not sound pitches that determines genres.
