I support Liverpool & a compilation does not do the comeback against Barcelona justice. I am healthy but I felt that my heart couldn’t take it anymore (after Gini’s first goal).
I remember watching that Brazil v Germany game and calculating that in the remainder of the ninety minutes left to play, if Germany managed to continue scoring at the rate they were they would score a total of sixteen goals.
I love you comments about the emotion - a lot of people, who don't understand the game, criticise that it is 'low scoring' or sometimes a 'draw'. It is only when you understand how difficult it is to succeed and score that you can truly understand the euphoria of the players and the fans. Unlike other sports - the general expectation is a 'draw' and therefore to win is a rush like no other and to lose can be the opposite.
You tend to get two types of fans, those that choose their club affiliation based on just liking the team which is why we have fans of some clubs far away geographically from where that club is based or fans who support their local team or the team where they grew up. Football gets into the blood and I'm still playing at 58 a new type of game called Walking football which helps old boys like me still enjoy the Beautiful game long after we thought we we're finished.
I find a decent amount of fans, myself included, support the team one of their family supports (normally their dad but possibly grandad/uncle/etc). So if the family member grew up somewhere but moved away you can also get geographically distant fans that way.
I am a Coventry City fan and, for my entire lifetime, I have seen my club go through hard times after hard times; points deductions, poor ownership, leaving our home city twice, relegations. But no matter how hard times got tough, our true fans never gave up, which has now paid off. They stood by the team even at rock bottom of the EFL. And I think that is the same for every team, because no matter how much hardship a team goes through, we will stand by our teams, always, with our love for football.
I feel you. When I grew up my club (IFK Norrköping) played mostly in the second division. Extremely bad management and economic crisis. At one point we were close to relegation to the third division. At one point we almost went bankrupt. But now, we're thriving, and in 2015 we won the league for the first time since 1989. Extremely cathartic.
I support Sheffield Wednesday - we had the first American (John Harkes) to play in the Premier League, he was also the first American to play and score in the League Cup final and was the first American to play in the FA cup final.
Im from Denmark Liverpool since the European cup final vs Borussia Munchen gladbach 3-1 1977... the Liverpool comeback in 2005 final against Ac Milan down 0-3 at halftime, then capt Fantastic scored a header and and paved the way for the win
Best experience I've had was when Hearts won the Scottish Cup for the first time in a long time. We were at Celtic Park (they were renovating Hampden at the time) and the atmosphere even in the car on the way home with everyone with their scarves and flags hanging out the windows of cars and mini buses and coaches and everyone smiling and waving at each other through the windows on the motorway. Brilliant. My other team is Liverpool and you could write a book on experiences there, though I'm yet to see a game at Anfield.
Chelsea fan here since ever since. There have been members of my family at practically every home match since Chelsea Football Club came into being in 1905. We are the Champions of Europe 2021 and what a game that was.

As a Leeds Utd fan, i cant even begin to describe the emotions we've gone through for the past 16 years until our return to the Premier league last season. I have to admit on several occasions last season i wept whenever no-one was around watching our success, it's the same with the England national team, seeing us potentially having an opportunity to do well in the Euro's after years of heartache is very special. Football is a sport like no other, the emotions you go through cant be described, only other football fans will understand that.
The long history of football has produced international rivals, local rivals, city rivals. These rivals create that emotional attachment to the games. When important games come around and you face a long standing rival that are in the way of a league title, international title and a chance to put them out or even go past them to reach the top, that emotion has carried many hearts to love football.
As a Watford FC fan one moment that will forever stick with me is Troy Deeney scoring in the play off semi final against Leicester. Even though we went on to lose the final that year as a stand-alone moment it was top tier euphoria. I was one of the people who ran on the pitch. Everyone was hugging and crying and singing.
You called David Beckham the GOAT. Here's what George Best said about him. "He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's alright". If you don't know who George Best was then look him up and see who the real GOAT was. Even the great Pele said only last month " George Best until today is a footballer without comparison".
@@danosverige there’s many that I’d say have more of a claim to that title than George best including the obvious 2 messi and Ronaldo but you’ve also got maradona, platini, pele, beckenbaur even possibly Johan cruyf there’s a few more aswell tbh

My home town team is blackburn rovers and they were the second team to win the Premier league in the 90s and very proud of that feat for a small town. But I support Liverpool due to my aunt and their history is absolutely amazing with what they achieved, last year when they won Premier league after 30 years was emotional to watch.
I'm a Liverpool fan from Sweden and have many beautiful memories from both club and country. Zlatans insane bicycle kick against England ofc, Liverpools "miracle of Istanbul" and finally winning the league after 30 years are just a few of them. Easily the best sport in the world. YNWA
The late great Georgie Best, Monsieur Cantona, Mr Scholes who scores goals, Captain Roy Keane - don't really need to say who I support after that list 😉 And personally very proud that my Grandad from Stoke-on-Trent was mates with Sir Stanley Matthews - from his Wiki page, 'Matthews kept fit enough to play at the top level until he was 50 years old'. Nuff said!
Real football is ritualised battle. It's about belonging, loyalty and togetherness with team-mates and fans. That's why it means so much and why it's so emotional.
I support Leicester City. From Leicester. I see I am not alone from the comments. Hello to fellow Leicester fans. You will have to look at Cricket next, leather on willow, on a lazy summer day.
Wolves fan, but much respect to Leicester they are a model club with what they have acheived and how the owners have managed the club and respect what football is abt
My team is Huddersfield Town, who have had a pretty fairytale story in the past, especially in the 21st century. No one who isnt a football fan through and through has heard of us, but ill tell the story In 2004 we nearly went bust, we were in debt, players werent payed, the club was bought for £1, we were fighting for survival in League 2 (4th tier of english football). Since then we have become the only team to get promoted in all 3 playoffs through pens, we’ve set records, we made it to the premier league in 2017, the best day of my life, we beat manchester united, we stayed up with a 1-1 draw against reigning champions Chelsea. Thats the story. (We also were the first team to win the top division 3 times in a row, first team to score directly from a corner, developed the counter attacking football philosophy under Herbert Chapman, and started the career of a Manchester United legend in Denis Law)
The most memorable moment for me & it wasn’t even in this video surprisingly was Manchester United’s 2 goals in extra time to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in the European cup final in 1999, they had Giggs’s solo run in the FA cup semi final that year, but not the 2 goals in extra time to win the biggest prize in European football, not to mention it being the Historical Moment Manchester United won the Treble (league cup, FA cup & European cup), how did it not get in!!? 🙄🤷♂️
Loved the story George Best nipped to the loo and missed the winning goal, and the pilot who who didn't tell his German passengers the final score until they landed.
paul gascoine at euro 96 against scotland. he dinked the ball over colin hendry, scottish defender not once but twice without it touching the ground, before scoring.
As a real madrid fan rn with players leaving like varane and especially after 16 years at real madrid sergio ramos it hurts but we keep on supporting the club
Nice to see an American who actually has played and appreciates the game, and the unbelievable skill involved sometimes necessary to break the deadlock, instead of an NFL fan reacting to it and not really having a clue whats going on. I've never been able to understand how most Americans cant see the difference between beating 6 players and rifling one in the top corner with your feet, instead of just running past people holding the ball in your hands..
I'm a long suffering Arsenal fan - best moments I've seen involving my team was them doing a whole season unbeaten in 2003-04 (they went on to do 49 games unbeaten in total) and demolishing Inter Milan 5-1 at the San Siro
Watching this for the first time. Thanks for uploading it, it's absolutely fantastic!! Re your question, my favorite clubs are in my two favorite European cities, London and Berlin. In the Premier League, it's Chelsea and in the Bundesliga it's perennial underdog Hertha Berlin. Thanks so much!
I support Grimsby Town and Manchester United. My best moments were Grimsby Town winning twice at the old Wembley Stadium in 1998 The Auto Windscreen Shield against Bournemouth and The Second Division Play Off Final against Northampton Town.
Darling, the absolute G.O.A.T. of this sport is Lionel Messi. In Argentina we may have very corrupt politicians and an economy that astounds every scholar as even in default we still don’t crumble, and being in crisis is the normal where inflation never stops and no one cares. But there is one thing we are good at, making great footballers.
Carlisle United and you need to see the greatest goal ever scored by a Goalkeeper - Jimmy Glass he scored in the 94th minute to keep us in the football league. It’s still rated in the top 40 sporting moments of all time.
England leading 3/2 with 20 seconds left IN ENGLAND in The 1966 World Cup Final and the commentator said the immortal words "Some people are on the pitch-they think it's all over" and 5 seconds later England scored a 4th goal and he paused and carried on "IT IS NOW!".....unrehearsed, obviously.
Derby County fan here, one of the founding clubs of the English Football League and oldest clubs in the world with a rich history. The less said about our current situation the better though 🤣. Take a look at Iceland vs England in Euro 2016, one of the biggest upsets in football history and the celebrations afterwards (particularly their thunder clap) is spine-tingling.
2005 Champions League final on the day before my grandfather's funeral. 3-0 down at HT with an Everton fan next to me saying, this could be 6 or 7. I thought, he's probably right, but if we come back from this, it'll be one of the greatest football moments of my life... the rest is history. Also up there for me - Wales 1-0 Germany (1991), Liverpool 5-4 Alaves (2001), Wales 2-1 Italy (2002), Wales 3-1 Belgium (2016) and Liverpool 4-0 Barca (2019)
Unusually I am more of a football fan than my husband. We are both Manchester City fans but I will watch almost anyone play. The Aguero moment was something special. Last kick of the match essentially and scoring not only the winning goal of the match but also winning the Premier League title for the first time, winning the too tier for the first time since the 60's, and beating our biggest rivals on the last day of the season. Just magic
When the commentators are going hyper, screaming at what they're seeing it makes me laugh my arse off. I've never been into football, I haven't been following the latest Euros, even my sister watched the England v Germany match and she's about as sporty as I am, lol. I'm aware, specifically, of the long rivalry between the two nations ... I'm old enough to remember when England trounced Germany in 1966, " They think it's all over ... it is NOW ". Seeing this montage hasn't changed my view of football but it's given me more of a sense of the atmosphere around the 'beautiful game'.
My team is Bristol city in England second tier I’ve been I season ticket holder as long as I can remember and so will my children the memories you make at football is the best
My team, after nearly 60 years, are the best team in the EPL,. Liverpool. 6 times champions League winners, the best team in the league, and for 55 years, I have loved them
I support Manchester United . Manchester United was biggest club ever of whole Europe but first club ever 13 trophies in the premier league. And Manchester United are the first one to win 2 trebles 2008 and 1999 . 1999 one is the most iconic moment of Manchester United life ever
Glad my favourite goal was shown it's a free kick by Coventry city v Everton called the donkey kick and the broken wall which was later outlawed because two feet on the ball. APOEL and Wolves FC forever.
Not just skill and fantastic abilities. Football requires players who can 'read the game', anticipate and plan ahead. In many ways, with skilful players, it's like chess. A game for players who anticipate, plan ahead, react and amend their intentions in fractions of seconds.
The beauty of football was summed up in a quote by the late, great Sir Bobby Robson when he was manager of his boyhood club Newcastle United. “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”
I support SWFC as they’re my local team (I live about 10 minutes walk from the stadium) but they recently got relegated to the third tier of English football. 😟 Most memorable moment is the ‘hand of God’ goal when Argentina played England in the 1986 World Cup. No matter how great a player Maradona was he’ll always, first and foremost, be a cheat in many English fan’s eyes!
Great subject for a reaction video and I know what you mean about nostalgia JPS! I remember the battles between Arsenal and Man U back in the late 90’s 2000’s. The pain of that Ryan Giggs wonder goal in the FA cup semi! I’m not a Liverpool fan but my favourite player was Steven Gerrard - for how he inspired his team. I don’t watch football as much as I used to but yesterday I felt nervous and a bit sick all day for the match with Germany. So often England have lost on penalties which is so painful! Such high drama and visceral emotions I love penalty shootouts when it isn’t England in them!

The best football moment ever happened yesterday.
I know right 😂talking about France Switzerland? And Croatia Spain
Good luck for the carabao cup on the first mate, yorkshire derby to start the season, cant get much better than that
JPS: "Comment your team below" you trying to start a war? Lol! Jk mate, love your content!
Im from Denmark Liverpool since the European cup final vs Borussia Munchen gladbach 3-1 1977... the Liverpool comeback in 2005 final against Ac Milan down 0-3 at halftime, then capt Fantastic scored a header and and paved the way for the win
You should react to a compilation of Matt Le Tissiers goals. He played for Southampton and scored some spectacular goals!
I'm a Man Utd supporter I have followed them since 1963 and I love football just love it. I am 72 now but I have been following you for a long time now I just want to say thank you for all the videos I throughly enjoy watching.
To ALL the Liverpool Supporters I feel so sad that Kloop has left I wish you the best for next season and look forward to seeing Utd v Liverpool you never know Utd might give you a run for your money .
God Bless and Take Care 🙏
As a Tottenham fan the Lucas moura hat trick was one of the best nights of my life.
They've taken us on a damn roller-coaster in the last few decades mate 😬
I must say, as a town fan, you deserve to be in the prem, bielsaball is beautiful, great style, great play, still hate your club tho😂
The long history of football has produced international rivals, local rivals, city rivals. These rivals create that emotional attachment to the games. When important games come around and you face a long standing rival that are in the way of a league title, international title and a chance to put them out or even go past them to reach the top, that emotion has carried many hearts to love football.
Football, truly the world’s game!
No George best is definitely not the goat
The thing is, this lad's young and Beckham was famous in the US too...still is, so obviously he knows about him and nothing about Best.
@@dylanprice5397 - So who is in your mighty opinion?
@@danosverige there’s many that I’d say have more of a claim to that title than George best including the obvious 2 messi and Ronaldo but you’ve also got maradona, platini, pele, beckenbaur even possibly Johan cruyf there’s a few more aswell tbh
@@dylanprice5397 -While Ronaldo and Messi reign supreme today, they couldn't have handled the awful pitches and (actual) bone shattering tackles of the 60's-70's!
The others you mention were all "greats" of course but Best is in there with them.
No one who isnt a football fan through and through has heard of us, but ill tell the story
In 2004 we nearly went bust, we were in debt, players werent payed, the club was bought for £1, we were fighting for survival in League 2 (4th tier of english football).
I was thinking of this moment when watching this video and that was an amazing come back, for me the Liverpool leg over Barcelona in champions league.
Loved the story George Best nipped to the loo and missed the winning goal, and the pilot who who didn't tell his German passengers the final score until they landed.
I am from Munich - and that still stings 😜
You have to remember 211 countries play to qualify in the World Cup Finals (tournament)
It's a passion for over a billion people
paul gascoine at euro 96 against scotland. he dinked the ball over colin hendry, scottish defender not once but twice without it touching the ground, before scoring.
As a real madrid fan rn with players leaving like varane and especially after 16 years at real madrid sergio ramos it hurts but we keep on supporting the club
I’m a Man Utd fan and my first ever memory of football was that Rooney bicycle kick
Wolverhampton wanders 🏐
Out of darkness cometh light, out of Sandwell cometh shite. 🐺 FWAW
Its coming home for the UK 🇬🇧
We love our football !!! Spurs fan here ! Kl vid
The Jimmy Glass goal for Carlisle United to save them for relegation, one of the best goals ever.
I'm a long suffering Arsenal fan - best moments I've seen involving my team was them doing a whole season unbeaten in 2003-04 (they went on to do 49 games unbeaten in total) and demolishing Inter Milan 5-1 at the San Siro
Barcelona, I was in the " El Clasico" in Miami 2017, was best thing ever...
Liverpool.... and the 4th comeback goal against Barcelona in the 2019 UCL semi final after losing the 1st leg 3-0, shown here at 13.32. Just wow!
I'm a Glasgow Rangers fan & this year we won our 55th league title which is a World Record .
I'm a Liverpool fan and my greatest moment was "Corner taken quickly ORIGIIIII!!!!"
The greatest goal in football history is the Ramos´s goal in the 93th minute against ATM in 2014. Just unforgettable for any Real Madrid fan
So the best goal ever just happens to be for the club you support. Interesting.
Carlisle United and you need to see the greatest goal ever scored by a Goalkeeper - Jimmy Glass he scored in the 94th minute to keep us in the football league. It’s still rated in the top 40 sporting moments of all time.
My team is Leicester City we won the premier league it was a dream come true.
Great post and congrats on over 12k 🙌🏻 - liverpool here ⚽️
Borussia Dortmund - Germany Here! - Great Reaction! :-) !!!
Manchester United Football Club - England's Finest.
Also up there for me - Wales 1-0 Germany (1991), Liverpool 5-4 Alaves (2001), Wales 2-1 Italy (2002), Wales 3-1 Belgium (2016) and Liverpool 4-0 Barca (2019)
my dad broght me up on Cristal Pallice
As my father used to say when asked if he enjoyed football. "No. I support Charlton Athletic".
Ha, my Father, a Plymothian, would say that he supported Argyle through thin and thin.
As a huddersfield fan i can relate😂
Great video man
Thanks for making the effort to call it football.
"soccer" was our own term upto the 70's lol.
The aguero goal gives me chills every single time. My team is Aston Villa
My team is Bristol city in England second tier I’ve been I season ticket holder as long as I can remember and so will my children the memories you make at football is the best
Chelsea and England. I've got a tattoo of each 😁
@@GroundWorker34 Haha, fair play 🙂
Utd till i die, saying that, proper football is a joy to behold no matter the colours.
Paul Gascoigne scoring against Scotland Euro 96 👌🏻
Glad my favourite goal was shown it's a free kick by Coventry city v Everton called the donkey kick and the broken wall which was later outlawed because two feet on the ball.
APOEL and Wolves FC forever.
@itsJps you should look up Denis Law. He's still known as the King and he held certain records for years when he played at Manchester United.
Most memorable moment is the ‘hand of God’ goal when Argentina played England in the 1986 World Cup. No matter how great a player Maradona was he’ll always, first and foremost, be a cheat in many English fan’s eyes!
Good luck on the 1st, nothing better than to start the season with a yorkshire derby in a cup game😂
You ask for moments - try the goal by Archie Gemmell for Scotland against Netherlands in the 1978 World Cup (in Argentina).
My club is Reading FC which is 150 years old this year : 1871 - 2021
Maradona is the Greatest weve ever seen and ever will see ,Gracias El Pibe De Oro
You’re very knowledgeable… love it
ive grown up as a barca fan my whole family supported them but i also like inter bc my dad supports them and also manchester united
Great video. You know alot about football
