They didn't talk about how he created that sick bassline midway through the song. (in the song, it starts at 1:51) it's one of my absolute favorite parts of it.

I was on a bad path and just started smoking weed around the time this came out. One lonely night smoking by myself while listening to this song on repeat, something came to me. It wasn’t a vision but rather that moment people always hope comes for them. The moment their life changed for the better. I ended up getting straight As that year and got into the college I wanted which wouldn’t of happened without that monumental shift in my life. Thank you Cudi and thank you Dot. You two changed my life for the better.
